Round 1 (Begin)
Situation: Morgan is talking to the unknown elven man who definitely is not buying their lie. About 10 feet to Morgan's left and right is one of these turrets. Sim, Abigail, Lafetha, and Wilson are 50ish feet away.
The man reaches out, "You're coming with me to investig..." and notices the hand waft into Morgan's disguise. His face turning into a bit of a smile. "Clever."
(Sim, Lafetha, Wilson, Abigail. Advantage on initiative & 1st attack is advantage if stealth remains)

"Oh, shit..." Abigail whispers. "I was beginning to think we were going to be able to actually make it out of here without being spotted. Let us do this quickly."
Initiative: 6
Abigail sprints forward (Feline Agility) to engage the elf in the hopes of bringing him down before he can cause much of a fuss.
Reaction: The figure's hand seems to glow; swiping at the arrow barreling towards him. 9
The figure curses under his breath in the older elven tongue. "Little too many." He clicks his heels, boots lighting up as he jaunts. Disappearing and reappearing 15 feet away.
Bonus: Teleport
He whips out that pistol hilt, the top seeming to be a singular piece; compared to an actual firearm. He turns it towards Sim; a bolt of fire streaking through the air at him Attack: 21 Damage: 10
He then continues to slink back into the darkness...
Round 1 (End)
Summary: Morgan is quick off the line, drawing and cutting the figure (5). A gunshot cracks through the air as one of the turrets begins to spark, taking a round from Wilson (9). The elven figure ducks as a large blade comes whirling down towards him, jumping back a bit as Abigail then comes around for a second swing. Catching some of his coat but just missing and of his skin underneath. Sim's arrow flies between his two crew members, the elven man hand glows causing the arrow to change it's course, glancing across him (6). He curses in elven, before teleporting 15 feet away - more towards the town. There's a crack and sizzle in the air, his gun-like device firing off a fire bolt at Sim, striking him for 13 and lighting up the sky just a bit. He then moves further away (30 ft). Lafetha reaches out with a lash, but it only finds the air. The spell happening just one moment too late and striking where he was.
Situation: Abigail and Morgan are right by the exit, where the figure was. The figure is about 45 feet away from the two of them now - and still 50ish away from Sim, Lafetha and Wilson.
Both turrets didn't seem to take action. One of them is sparking but the other appears fine. Each cannon is about 15 feet in opposite directions of Abigail and Morgan - 50 feet from Wilson, Lafetha, and Sim.

Morgan looks at the elf, "That was so cool, you have to tell me what your deal is! Listen, we're enemies right now, but hopefully our paths keep crossing and we earn each other's path and gain a mutual respect for one another. Assuming this next stupid thing doesn't kill me." Morgan looks at Abigail, "sorry about this next bit, it's going to be... maximally unpleasant." Morgan's rapier is engulfed in black flame, as they slash above their head, a tear in the thin fabric of the universe is likewise slashed open. A Wave of infinite tentacles spill out into the world, rumbling and gurgles, a cacophony of rubbing appendages with inky slime. Morgan placed it high enough to try to not hamper their team mates but to Also get the two turrets. This unfortunately means that Morgan and Abigail are currently inside the eldritch cephalopod massage party.
Morgan says to the undulating darkness, " Listen, listen! I need you not to eat my friends and underlings okay? I don't want last time to be this time? What do you mean you can't tell us apart?... All brief specs ignorant of how little our lives mean in the thin cosmic tapestry?" Morgan turns to where they remember Abigail being, their voice raised over the gurgling, "Listen, I tried talking to him, he's impossible when he's like this. I don't recommend staying in here too long. Unless that's your thing... nope, still don't recommend that, he will try to kill you. In any case, a hasty retreat is in order." Morgan moves as far as they can out of the compound.
6 Cold damage to people starting their turn in the hunger
9 acid damage to anyone ending their turn in the hunger
Wilson readies his rifle against his shoulder leveled at the elf but keeping an eye on the turrets and begins backing towards the exit but staying out of the tentacle swarm,
"Really bringing your friends into this huh?"
Wilson shouts at Morgan
He will fire on whatever target takes an aggressive action against his party
The elf snaps his fingers, blasts of arcane energy flying out of the darkness over towards Lafetha, before grabbing a small ribbon of cloth. Tossing it around his face before seeming to vanish from sight.
Summary: Morgan brings about darkness that begins to destroy the area, giving the group a brief reprieve to run. Wilson and Abigail take the opportunity, running into the darkness and out the other side, losing their line of sight on what's going on inside. Sim also follows, but before Lafetha can make it out the sounds of the cannons fire. One blast striking her, but the brooch seeming to lessen the impact from the strike (7). She arrives through the darkness moments later, saying she lost sight of the Rana man.
It feels like only a moment later that you hear the sounds of two cannons firing, before the explosion likely where you just were. It's possible they may begin to attack the entire area in a minute or two.
With two of the three crates of cargo in hand, you begin to head out.
Survival Check to get back (DC 12), or the soon to be chasing enemy gets a +5 to their roll: Fast: You're running nearly full speed. Exhaustion Roll (CON Save DC 12). No assisting, due to running. Enemies need a 10+ to track. If tracked, combat will happen in by Mortis Outpost. Normal: Moving your regular pace. Can assist as normal. Enemies need a 15+ to track. If tracked, combat will happen in the woods (about even) Slow: Moving half speed. Can assist. Survival Check becomes DC for Enemies to track. If tracked, combat will happen with a larger group of enemies...

Lafetha and the crew begin to move through the trees and back into the swamp. The water splashing about as they navigate to the best of their ability. In the distance, the sounds of the soldiers in the fort, along with their massive giant lumbering after them. Just based on it's size, it's able to keep up with their pace...
(Do the enemies stay on their trail? 18)
The crew stops, glancing back a bit. Their pursuers have broken off into different groups, having spread out some time ago. The sounds of moving through the water coming at them.. "Over there!" a voice rings out. Just beyond the horizon is a small team of Kevinter Soldiers are on their approach. Glancing around, there are a few swamp trees to give cover to. Six of them, each fairly armed and armored. Of the six, four appear to be in standard uniforms, one is likely their tracker, and one appears heavier armed.
In the distance, (1) crocodile noses stick out of the water by some logs. Not seeming to give a care in the world about you, or the current group pursuing you. You don't think they'll do much beyond possibly run and hide. But, it may be possible to get them involved (If within melee range, can use Animal Handling as a action. If from afar and can talk to them, Persuasion).

Round 1 (Begin)
Situation: The Crew (having just put down their box in a bush), and their pursuers, are in the swamp, about 60 feet away from one another. Six Kevinter Soldiers (4 Soldiers, 1 Tracker, 1 Heavy) have spotted them and are giving chase. Due to the water, it's considered difficult terrain on both sides. (Those with swim speeds may dive into the water to use their swim speed, but you remember that the water is likely diseased.) About 30ish feet away from the crew are 5 crocodiles. They are currently minding their own business.
(Can attempt to hide; disadvantage due to both sides seeing one another at the moment. Action to hide)
