"Damn..." Abigail mutters under her breath, "I was really hoping that my first real time at helm would be something to talk about..." (Big wheel a keep on turning... 15 )
The crab's large claw comes up and over, attacking the Windhook:
Crushing Claw Attack: 20 Damage: 9
Bonus Grapple Damage to the attack: 7
A long, finely serrated claw comes out of the water, taking a pincer at Morgan.
Cutting Claw Attack: 10 Damage: 11
Boat against the sides: 17
Round Summary: Abigail, turning the wheel back and forth, keeps the Windhook from colliding with the large jagged rocks. Sim, seeing the large crab, takes aim and fires - but it harmlessly bounces off of it's shell. Lafetha's vines sprout - slashing against the creature's large shell (7), but it isn't enough to cause it to run away. Morgan attempts to stuff it's mouth full of an oar, but doesn't manage to get a good angle from the crashing waves and water.
Without anyone helping to make sure the boat stays clear of the more shallow rocks, the boat shakes for a moment as it strikes against some of the underwater jagged spires (boat takes 7). It's in that moment the crab attacks; a large claw coming out and grabbing the Windhook, causing it to move and spin a bit. (Boat takes 6). A large other claw comes out striking a little blind at those on the deck.
Situation: The Windhook is grappled. A singular huge crab preventing the boat from getting away at the moment. Captain Wednesday shouts over the roar of Dyren's pass. "Either kill it or get it to let go! Hitting it with an oar won't do us any good anymore!" Steam still pours out of the slats below deck... it could be possible to break free since the engine is providing some power as well.
(Any single attack that deals 10+ damage will cause it to let go of the boat) (You can attempt to pry off the claw; but since it's a large claw you have disadvantage. The DC is 17) (The crab isn't bloodied right now)
Abigail: You can attempt to turn and wiggle out of the crab's claw. Water Vehicle + Dex Takes up your action. The DC is 23 It takes your bonus action to get Rollo to fire the Ballista.
Morgan drops the oar in disbelief, "it... It didn't like my pun... Now I'm crabby, you wouldn't like me when I'm crabby!" Eldritch blast Attack: 22 Damage: 11 Attack: 22 Damage: 8 ((targeting the claw))
Summary: Lafetha turns and her vines once again cut up the hard shell of the crab; some of it's blue blood seeming out around it's joints. Morgan fires off a eldritch blast, the both striking the claw which blows off. The creature reeling in pain as it sinks back into the water. The Windhook rushes forward; Abigail continuing to keep it under control.
Section 4
Rollo gives Morgan a nod before pointing out up ahead. "Not done yet!" Another 1 are approaching the boat this time.
Again a lone massive crab is moving to striking distance of the boat. It's eyestalks popping up as the rushing currents continue over it.

Morgan picks up the oar, "okay, one more time. If this doesn't work I'm never using puns again."
