Summary: Lafetha notices Tarak's injuries escalating from the combat. She rushes over; her hand resting against the back of his armor as the spell triggers. A rush of vitality moving over Tarak as some of his wounds close (+15). Morgan, annoyed at these two glowing orbs fires off two blast. The first strikes the injured one; it seeming to just dissolve in the air - nothing left behind. They turn, the other bolt barely missing the remaining orb of light.
Tarak and the being of light clash their blades against one another. Neither getting the upper hand or finding a opening that penetrates their respective armors. Abigail moves to the remaining ball. Her two blades slashing the quick, insect sized bringer of lightning. (Reduced to 6).
Situation: Tarak and the Starlight creature are in melee together; but Lafetha is easily within it's range (and could provoke an attack of opportunity if she moves away). Abigail and the last ball of light dance around one another; while Morgan is just slightly off to the side.
Again the ball of light shimmers and another series of lightning bolts fly down to Abigail
Morgan looks at Tarak and then Abigail, "listen, darling, the new meat isn't doing so hot. I'm going to save his ass and be back in two shakes. Kisses! Byeeee!" Morgan rushes to flank the star entity. If hot with opportunity attack 18.
Abigail winces at the shock delivered by the orb before feeling an energizing rush from Lafetha.
Abigail barks, "Never mind me! Keep your attention on the large being with the star dagger, Lafetha!" Though, there is a hint of relief buried somewhere in her objection.
Finding herself squaring off against the last orb, Abigail attempts a flourish of foot and blade work in hope of ending this pesky Marksman-H.
Feinting Attack with Main Hand Short Sword - Attack: 23 Damage: 16
Summary: The orb launches a series of lightning strikes at Abigai; her armor drawing the bolts towards her. Fortunately, the metal keeps the bolts from traveling across the rest of her body (5). Morgan steps closer to the creature, the necrotic energy still swirling over their arm. They reach out to strike, but the being evades. It gives Tarak a moment to counter; his blade moving into the creature.
The Star's wink out as the creature fades from existence. A single vibrating dagger falls down with a clang, it seeming to be unstable.
(The dagger will fade from existence in 4 rounds; and will attune to whoever picks it up.)
Lafetha moves over to Abigail, now not having to worry about the creatures blade striking out at her. Another wash of healing moving to close some of the burns and wounds from the combat. (+19). Abigail lands a sizeable blow on the orb (Reduced to 8), leaving it off balance for Abigail's next attack.
Situation: Only the Orb is left, with Abigail engaged in it. Due to it's tiny - bug size - it's likely only one other person could strike it in melee. A dagger is vibrating on the ground, but won't stay there for long before collapsing into itself.
Sounds move along the edge of the horizon. Tiny shadows zipping across, always in the corner of the crew's eye. Reminding them that perhaps they're still not alone.
Summary: Tarak takes a moment to stop from the exchange of arcane energy and the sounds of lightning to glance down at the vibrating dagger. The hilt is made of wood while the blade is some kind of metal; with a vibrating sheen around it. However, it continues to dematerialize, signaling that it isn't of this plane. While he studies, Lafetha gives him a quick boost of energy. Again the pulse of healing magic rushing from her, over to him.
Meanwhile, the lone orb attempts to zap Abigail once again, but she evades the lightning. Two arcane blasts streak across the air from Morgan; one managing to strike the light while the other falls wide. Abigail uses the opportunity to attempt to bring both her blades across the tiny... thing... but manages to miss.
