We are coming, Giant-Slayer, just figuring out where Del  Messages to FB, and they quickly relay back and forth enough about distances and arrangement for Quentin to Dimension Door us into the right place - so Raven can get the drop on her choice of target and Mindartis can come flying through like a rage-missile

...Del relays questions to and answers from Flitterbug, so Quentin knows where to teleport us...

"I can only teleport one person at a time. However, with Mindartis flying already he can take his sister across. If Flitterbug can get Sir Ethan I will leave Cup with him. And I can give it to Raven. Then I will teleport the two of us in." Quentin suggests, trying to get everyone across at the same time. 

"What ever it takes." Raven says, ready to get into the area already.

Del suggests: everyone but M & Q into the tapestry, Q DD's himself and M to where FB is, they let us all out, and we press the attack from there with flying and such

Otherwise, second choice, all but Q & Raven back up to where flying will actually work - not sure how big a deal this is given the tree and path behavior. Del gets mounts, we fly in, Q&R teleport to get the surprise first attack as we arrive

(Okay, so what plan exactly are we going with here?  Ad if Quentin is going to teleport in carrying everyone, what sort of target/range are you going to go for?)

I think we need some of the information FB & Del have been passing back and forth. Is there a tree by FB we could hang the tapestry onto? How far to the Everlost? How far to the giant huts and guards? Any cover?

My 3 week ago idea of attacking through a teleport was dumb because that's not how DD works, and I think your description says we can't just fly over the top? Not wanting to dither but this thorny barrier is kind of a thorny barrier.

If conditions support, teleport to where FB is and attack from there?

Outside the clearing, there are plenty of large trees which could be a suitable place to hang the tapestry.  Inside the clearing is mostly a mud pit apart from the huge tree and the giant huts. Flying over the top might be problematic...the unfriendly thorns are intertwines with tree branches overhead, and while the spiders that would have posed a danger to Flitterbug are probably not tough enough to pick a fight with the larger members of the party, the gaps are narrow and thorny and might require some very dexterous flying to get through unscathed.

“Why don’t I just burn it down? It’s just a bunch of plants.” Cup asks curiously as she looks at the plants, “Instead of all this weird flying and teleporting stuff?” 

Q chuckles before saying, “Because if the hags are smart, which we just assume they are, the thorns are either fire resistant or will retaliate. I worry I won’t be able to get the tapestry up in time. A greater invisibility can help where it won’t break as soon as I teleport.” 

Except Lady Althaea is keeping Lord Mindartis in flight, and no one else can do that. Just the backside of the tree she describes <<x feet in y direction>> at the edge of the clearing but past the thorns, will have to do. Let's go before Sister Raven goes mad with impatience Del says as he helps herd everyone in for the jump

Mindartis nods in agreement, and both he and Althaea follow

"Are we going? Finally?" Raven asks as she sees everyone filing into the tapestry. "I was about to use my Etherealness option from my new armor, but, if you are ready, I'll keep that in reserve."

Quentin nods, “Just try and keep me safe while I get the tapestry hung up.” Quentin says with a small smile, “I may be a powerful wizard now but I still can’t take a punch.” With that Q puts a hand on Raven’s shoulders and Dimension Doors the two of them to the desired location. 

Quentin teleports inside the ring of briars, and finds himself and Raven in the place of his nightmares: mud everywhere, knee deep.  Crude, lopsided, giant huts that look like they've been molded together with mud, straw, and various types of dung. The most hideous and filthy giants he has ever seen, stomping everywhere and splattering filth in every direction.  And at the center, an enormous tree which might once have been beautiful, but now leans over looking half dead, a splintery tunnel having been hacked into its side and down into the ground.  More open pits surround the tree, and muddy elves occasionally stagger out to toss armfuls of wood chunks onto giant carts.

Quentin and Raven, roll stealth as you dash for a safe place to hang the tapestry.

Quentin and Raven appear in a convenient spot to slip into the shadow of one of the carts of wood.  You can see about twenty-five Fomorians.  Most of them seem to be lounging around, chatting, eating or whatever under awnings made of ragged hides.  Three stomp around in the mud, bellowing at the prisoners.  Five or six are in the far end of the clearing, and seem to be playing a game that seems to consist of throwing large rocks at an enormous chained tortoise, parts of its shell painted to represent target values.

Raven, who can understand giant, overhears that the giants are all very annoyed at the delay in summoning the Archwitch...and that the hags have promised to restore their entire race to their former beauty and power, when the Archwitch returns. (Also that the chief has a sore toe, someone named joombar was killed in a fight after accusing Kaelon of stealing his ale mug, and that there's a betting pool on whether the Yeanobo family twins will be killed and eaten by their parents before they are potty trained.)

As we exit the tapestry, Flitterbug flies up to M's shoulder and gives him a quick hug of relief, then a punch on the earlobe, whispering About Flittering Time

Getting the brief from Q & R, Del proposes by a round of  Messages I could distract them with a Major Image - it is time for the Archwitch to grant their wishes. Then our Flying Feylord free that tortoise and whatever elves he can - more confusion is better - and we can attack them all bunched up and disorganized
