 In the morning, you set out traveling along the mountain path once more. Eventually, the road fades away under a covering of snow, but it takes you far enough to see the facade of some kind of temple carved into the sheer mountainside ahead. Hiking the rest of the way from the wagon, you see that the front of the structure is fifty feet high and has six alcoves containing twenty-foot-tall statues. Each statue is carved from a single block of amber and depicts a faceless, hooded figure, its hands pressed together in a gesture of prayer. Between the two innermost statues is a twenty-foot-tall archway with a staircase leading down.  A natural fissure has opened in the mountainside west of the temple’s facade, creating a gap two feet wide, ten feet tall, and fifteen feet deep. You see light coming from a room beyond, and you hear human voices there as well.

However, the mountain cold is so intense, that I’ll need CON saves from everyone unprepared for the climate.

As you both draw close to the fissure, you see a figure sitting by the fireside. He is covered in a cloak, and various frozen corpses lie around him. He seems to be speaking to himself while writing in a book, but you can’t tell what. Upon further inspection, the corpses seem familiar to the barbarians that you have encountered before.

Elwarith will step from the shadows

"Is this your handywork?" and he'll indicate to the frozen corpses

The figure spins around suddenly in shock, while pointing a wand. As he does, his hood flies back.  Before you stands an elf of dusty grey skin. At least, you believe he’s an elf, despite the fact that his ears are mauled. “It might be. Care to join them? Who are you.”

Elwarith, safe in the assumption that Adanmar has his back if this goes sideways raises his arms up

"Hold friend.....I am no threat, if I wanted you dead, you would be without seeing me...but I'm afraid I do have you at a disadvantage Kasimir Velikov......" and he'll just let the name hang there watching the man to see his reaction

He continues to hold the wand, but there is a hint of confusion, “So, how do you know me, and how did you know I would be here.”

"Madam Eva told me you may be of some assistance in the removal of a certain tyrant who rules these lands, she also mentioned you might be here....." Elwarith will try to be as vague as possible in regards to there being more to his party than just him for the moment - no sense in giving away more information than needed until we're sure he can be trusted enough.

He will then give a curt bow and introduce himself "I am known as Elwarith the Accurate...." and he'll make sure his fancy bow is visible across his shoulders and then add in elvish "Peditham hi sui vellyn?"

Kasimir returns the bow, “I see... I suppose so, yes. A pleasure.” Kasimir flourishes his wand and stows it, “I may be able to provide assistance. However, I have business to attend to here. I cannot throw this chance away after I have come so close to the end. This place is my last chance to revive my sister.”

Additionally: Both George and Grim sent me their saves. Both passed. George 26 and Grim 13.

"Perhaps an agreement can be reached then.....we help you and then you can help us....."

“Perhaps. However, I am hesitant to believe that the two of us alone can breach the temple’s sanctum. It is why I have been isolated in this area for the past few days. We will need to plan accordingly.”

OOC: Am I close enough to be hearing this??? haha

OOC: If Bry decided he wanted to follow, then sure. Currently, Adanmar is the night, Elwarith is speaking, and you and Grim/George are outside. Up to you.

A flash of a sparks, and then a puff of smoke go off near the two then a booming voice, "I have been summoned!" Bry steps out of the smoke, "Which of you are my summoner who's name is Kasimir!"

Kasimir jumps in surprise and whips his wand out before either can notice, “Minor tortoise!” Bry, make a Wisdom Save.

(OOC - BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)

Elwarith just covers his face with his hand and says "Lle lakwenien?" <Are you joking?>

OOC: Yea I figured that might happen haha Wis: 0

For a brief moment, you feel the intense urge to beat rabbits in races and eat greens, but you shake it off before such dark passions claim you. Kasimir relaxes, “Oh, you’re no demon nor devil, my apologies. This temple has me... anxious. I assume you are with The Accurate, correct?”

"May I introduce you to Bry Ken-Dahli.....one of my traveling companions, we call ourselves The Mistbusters.  There are a few more of us around..."
