The skulls’ jaws crack and creak as they open and each of the flames focus into single points. It seems that they are about to fire something, something that you have seen Bry reduce hordes of blights to ashes with.

Largely being a pyromancer yourself, you know a few things. They are immune to fire, cold, and poison. They are resistant to magical effects. They cannot be permanently killed without splashing holy water, or similar magic, upon them. Also, they are on fire.

As Elwarith climbed to safety, the flame skulls have emerged from the hole. The third skull cackles madly as it spins around in various directions, “It looks like there’s even more intruders! Grave robber flambé it is!” The flame once again focuses into a single point as it releases a 3rd level Fireball at you all. Dex Saves(Bry: 11, Adan: 11, Grim: 10, Geo: 17, El: 22, Dav: 17, Kas: 9) for 25 fire damage.
As the room erupts into a blossom of flame, Kasimir, George, and Elwarith manage to dive out of the way of most of the flame, taking only half. Adanmar and a Bry are caught fully by the explosion, but Bry resists a large amount of the flames due to his infernal heritage. For a moment, it looks like Grim has vanished, however he has actually leaped over the explosion and lands safely unharmed due to his evasion.
Both hit! The skull seems shaken as it’s back half is stabbed through repeatedly. It looks heavily wounded. The second flame skull will also release a Fireball. The beam streaks out, but fades as Kasimir seems to mimic the same motion, but in reverse by using Counterspell. The flameskull lets out a scream of rage as its turn ends.

Bry saw the rope snap taut, maybe a little too taut, he looked down the hole, "Everything ok down there El?"
"Erk! Ow......... Yeah, I'm fine. You won't believe this, but I found more amber down here."
