Bry's brow furrows as he interprets the motions of the water, then his eyes widen as he stamps his own foot next to the water and see's nowhere near the ripple. "Guys...we need to go."

"Go? go where? back the way we came? This place seems fairly convinced it wants to kill us no matter where we go.....George can you open this other door for us?"

The Revenant peeks outside the smashed doors they pass through to see if he can spot who or whatever is causing these tremors...

Peaking through the tempest of souls both you and George are trapped inside, you can see at the top of the grand staircase, an amber hand grab a pillar. The rest of the body soon follows. An amber giant, standing at least 16 feet tall. Instead of a normal head, there is the carved head of a falcon. It scans the room from atop the stairwell, then takes another step. Boom. And another, boom. Each step is like a thunderclap. It is slow, but it’s size makes up for its speed.

I need stealth checks from everyone to avoid The Amber Golem!

Yes, careful. This creature is at least the size of two George’s and just as brawny. Quite the hulk of a monster.

((Adanmar's attempt to not kill Elwarith, aka Stealth: 24))

As the Amber Golem reaches the base, it places a hand upon the statue and scans around it with its unmoving gaze. Will it perceive? 15. With that, the Amber Golem walks past Bry and Elwarith, into the room containing Adanmar and George. It’s foot slams right next to Adanmar, who dives and manages to pull George aside as well. The Amber Golem’s gaze moves past Adanmar, missing him, as it claps its hands Hulk-style against the specters. They scatter into ectoplasm as the Amber Golem turns, moving past you all once more, and returns up the staircase.  However, not before it slams a fist into the wall of stone, which sends it crashing to the floor, revealing the statue’s face once more. You all wait for a moment, satisfied that the Golem has returned to its previous duties.

Elwarith, seeing the wall collapse next to the statue quickly ducks in to the room with George and Adanmar hoping to get out of the statues firing line...

You are quick enough that you may. Additionally, it seems that the statue’s blind spot is behind it.

"Amber is the color of your Janitor" Bry says as he hums a familiar tune. 

Truly, it is. So, this room has been cleared. There remains the other, closed door, which we will say George can open. On the other hand, there is also the western hallway. It is up to you.

It’s a mimic! Wait no, no that’s just a wall. This place, the whole of Barovia is just starting to play tricks on your mind. It’s like this whole place is just one big prison!  Regardless, this seems like a statue, through and through.
