Hearing Dart’s quip, Blair lets out a genuine chuckle of amusement. He was quick witted, which held promise for fun banter. “Celebration?” Her smirk would grow. “I’d better have him doing more than just stuttering if we were.” On that note she’d pluck the button she was playing with one last time before leaving it alone.
“That he did.” Blair would nod slightly, confirming with Dart’s clarification about Magnus getting the boat.
Without a doubt Blair revels in play, teasing her prey and thoroughly enjoying her fun in every sense of the word. But she was still a professional and when the job needed to be done, despite the facade, she was all business. Not that the boys would have had their taste of it, yet.
Blair’s confident smile wouldn’t waver as she’d watch Dart rub his temples in slight distress, trying to fit all the pieces together. And when he’d give her that look, she’d let out a little giggle. She had successfully put the poor halfling through some turmoil over her worth. His apprehension towards her didn’t bother her. It was common in her line of work for her value and skills outside of personal pleasures to be questioned. And she couldn’t blame him. Dart was being sure, and thorough. If anything, he was passing her ‘tests’ of character.
The redhead was about to give Dart her response when he would address Parker, snapping at him. She’d have to hold back yet another giggle as her eyes glanced from Dart to Parker. Her brow would pop when the half-elf seemed to have flipped a switch and was able to respond to his partner without skipping a beat. Her smile would deepen into a comfortable smirk. His stuttering was adorable to play with, but when there was no messing around when it mattered to get down to business, that’d perked her attention. She’d be even more pleasantly surprised when she’d feel Parker’s touch against her back. Blair, practically a purring kitten now, would lean into him further as her nails would go back to grazing his chest. Her eyes would linger on Parker before looking to address Dart in her own business tone. “I already have a plan in motion to retrieve the duty roster and to get me into the cargo hold.” She’d pause, her confident smirk still not wavering. Magnus had hinted to it before he left. “You focus on getting your story straight so you can get on the ship.”
Her eyes would look back to Parker. She’d run a finger up his chest and neck, gently tilting his chin to her. “And you better deliver on your promise.” Her smirk would grow into a toothy grin. “Think you can actually seal the deal?” She was of course talking about the Blaze’s seal Dart questioned him about. Parker seemed to have skipped that detail over. That is what she’s talking about, right?
"I just need to get a decent copy of one and i should be able to reverse engineer a stamp. Easier th th that" he closes his eyes. "That way. If we steal the actual stamp it would be noticed as missing. Which would probably cause it to be changed making the stolen stamp worthless" with that he leans back in his chair opening his grey eyes
Murph pauses, blending into the rock wall of the near building almost unnaturally. The light wasn't there last time. And didn't show sign of going out any time soon. It might be a candle left burning, dangerous in a building full of kindling. Or someone might be there. Not worth the risk.
He moves along, eyes open for any sign of a new opportunity, an open window in an empty house, a shopowner closing up for the night, whatever the evening brought him. His path was not aimless, though -- he was headed for an old dead drop closer to the water. An abandoned pigeon coop perched on the corner of a boxy squat building on a mid-block back alley.
Blair waits patiently with a gentle smile on her face as Parker trips mid sentence. She’d pet his chin with her thumb when he finds them, then allows him to lean out of her touch when he sits back to let him have a breather. A soft coo would escape her lips when his grey eyes would lock on hers, feeling herself get a little smitten. Her crossed leg would brush against his as she started to bounce it softly as she pondered. She was impressed he had considered the fall out from failure, revealing a hint of a humbled nature, which can be rare. A master craftsman who truly understands the ins and outs of the profession? Admirable. “Where can we find you a copy on short notice, hmm?” Blair was ready to see him put his hands to work.
Blair giggles. "Good." She praises, running her finger down Parker's chest. "You know what, and how." She leans in to him, looking him up and down again. "But I asked you, where?" This time she'd pluck at his belt.
"Hmm." She'd coo in thought, pulling back to sit up straight. Blair would look to Dart then back to Parker. She'd smirk. "So we need to get you in and your hands on it?" She'd tilt her head slighty. "Or mine?"
She smirks before chuckling and gently booping his nose. "You said not to steal it." Blair helps herself to a sip of his ale. She'd then jut her chin to Dart. "Your partner mention uniforms." Her eyes would shift a little as she thought. "Couldn't you be hands on, on site?"
Sitting silently observing the pair, I continue to rub my temples. Letting out a very loud sigh, “So do we need to find this seal before we strike tonight or is getting it after okay.” Pausing for a moment to think, “Parker correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t Magnus say he would have appropriate attire for us? ... that still leaves the question of how important is the seal from the blaze ... which is what I asked you about earlier.”
Murph, as you approach the pidgeon coop, you see the cross in white chalk on the fifth brick from the bottom, the sign that something had been dropped. Blending with the shadows, you approach quickly and find the small folded square of paper behind the feeder. You remove it skillfully, and then make sure to depart quickly to read the message away from the dead drop.
"We strike tonight, Stay away from the Park! For compensation, head to the alley behind the Blushing Mermaid. Rain Barrel, packet a third of the way down, inside waxed sail cloth"

Hmm, that should be interesting. Would love to know what they're doing there, but I'll stay away. Compensation...
He makes his way slowly over to the Blushing Mermaid's roof, sets in his grappling hook over the eave, and feeds the rope down next to what seems like the right rain barrel in the alley. Waiting several minutes to ensure he sees and hears no one nearby, he climbs down and looks in the barrel, reaches inside, and grasps whatever package he can find, before darting back up to the rooftop and away, examining what's inside on a roof several buildings closer to home.
“I thought having a seal used by a Blaze would lend more credibility to our papers. Especially in reference to the food. Since Malinkov was in direct communication with Mr. Creed at Hamhock’s. Though if you think what we have is sufficient... Let’s head back into the city.”
After the conversation has concluded I’ll motion for Gavin to come over to settle up the tab. I also cover the entry toll for the group on the way back in to town. (Let me know what to deduct. Also I’m assuming everyone is coming with)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
When Dart would let out his deep sigh while rubbing his temple, Blair would tilt her head wondering if the halfling was truly annoyed or suffering. She’d let go of Parkers belt, readjust herself in her ‘seat’ before she’d lean forward onto the table, stretching her torso out and rest her chin on folded arms. The red head would rest there, watching Dart attentively as he’d think and bring forward some thoughts out loud to Parker. She’d occasionally wiggle her fingers to keep them in Dart’s sight as to not make him anxious she was going to touch his coin purse any time soon. Besides a soft smile tugging at her cheeks, she would not interrupt the boys. Just listen.
Insight: 11
The conversation seemed to be a lot shorter than she was expecting. Blair would let out a soft ‘hmm’ as she’d lift her hips up just a bit as she’d lean further, reaching out to grab her ale she had left at her previous seat. Once she had her mug in hand, she’d sit back upright, bringing it to her lips to take a sip. Her other hand finding a comfortable spot to rest on Parkers knee, petting with her thumb. “I was asking because Parker implied to Magnus he had one.” Blair would chuckle softly and help herself to another sip of ale before resting it on the table, her eyes still on Dart. It didn’t matter to her either way, besides being more impressive if it was achieved. “Well, if you boys aren’t concerned about the seal, then I suppose you do not need my immediate assistance?” Her eyes would move to fall on Parker.
I stop rubbing my temples while Blair speaks. “It seems you are insinuating you are able to get a blaze seal in the next few hours and be on the ship to recover the medicines... if that’s the case, don’t let us stop you.” Regarding her with curiosity, hopeful she would be able to help Parker follow through on his claim.
