Let me make this as clear as possible. I am waiting for DungeonLord58, the DM, to post the remaining cultist's turn, because it comes before me in the initiative order.

(Thank you for the clarity on the initiative. It may help the DM to recognize the intentions of everyone for the next round though, so he can solve more things with a single post. The waiting for each person in initiative order to post doesn't work that well in a PBP game.. I've done a three-week-4-round combat once.)

Aelmyn and Grigor, after following the snake for a couple of minutes, you come upon a jungle fortress. It is shaped like a step pyramid. Carvings of snakes are engraved in the pyramid walls. Other pictures of yuan-ti are painted onto the sandstone. On each of the four sides of the pyramid, a flight of stairs leads up to the top, where a stone altar sits. The snake slips through a small, perfectly circular hole just wide enough for the snake into the pyramid. The yuan-ti broodguard (with 6hp remaining) is chasing you both.

(Rat) "We better follow them as well" Once we catch up with the others, I'll have my snake familiar slither up the same hole and I'll keep using the "use senses" activity of Find Familiar to try to see what's in there and map the pyramid for a bit.

The familiar enters a dimly lit hallway. Snakes are carved on the wall. Two cultists are standing in the hallway, talking quietly. They make a slight bow as the snake familiar passes by. Then the hall turns to the left. In the new passage, there is a closed door on the right. Further down the hall is an open door. Chanting can be heard inside. The cultists in there are speaking Draconic. Three of them kneel before a statue of a winged serpent. Beyond that, Rat loses contact with his familiar because it is out of range.

Can I put its location in the map and get some supplies and rest back at the town?
If so, I will.
The temple's location is already marked with an X in green ink on Karissa's map. There are Xs in other areas of the map, too: The desert of Anauroch, the Nelanther Isles, the Purple Rocks, Najara, and the northern Serpent Hills. But there is something strange about the map. The X on Chult is glowing green, unlike the other Xs on the map.
Here's a link to a map of Faerün (Note: Chult is not on this map).

Yes. The sun is setting. Back at the crumbled city, merchants and traders are laying out sleeping bags and sleeping in the roofless buildings. The air is warm. Even at night.

Grigor is sitting at a street corner, looking off into the distance depressedly, mumbling things like "I can't believe this" and "George will pay for his crimes", eventually falling asleep.
He is in the center of a vast circular arena. The air is hot and humid. Around him is a sandstone structure (not unlike the Roman Coloseum). In the seats of the arena are thousands of yuan-ti. They are all cheering on something you cannot see. In the arena with you are three cloaked yuan-ti. They are chanting in Abyssal tongue. Suddenly, out of the ground erupts a huge serpent. The name "Merrshaulk" appears in your head. No sooner than the serpent erupted from the ground than a winged yuan-ti wielding a torch in one hand and a sword in the other soars at it and attacks. The winged yuan-ti and the huge serpent battle with each other for a long time. Finally, the winged yuan-ti emerges victorious, and the body of Merrshaulk collapses on Grigor. the dream ends.

Ooc: Ah, didn't notice, my bad!
The initiative order is as follows.
Cultists (21); Aelmyn (20); me (18); Grigor (13); Rat (5); yuan-ti broodguard (3).
It is the remaining cultist's turn.

We won't be interrogating that thing. We're going to beat that thing's head to a bloody pulp.

Grigor immediately regrets falling asleep on a street corner. In the morning, he will seek the rest of the party and tell of this strange dream.
