Belmarm had half a mind to simply join the women, only to hold off at the call. Wordlessly, he joined Falzaren at the table if there's enough room, though offered no name. He merely gestures to Falzaren as if to proclaim some tie there.

“Burgomaster Indirovich sent us a letter, that a person dear to him got a grievous wound and is in dire need of help. It sounded very urgent. Where may we find your father?”
The women just seem to be watching the party from where they sit. Perhaps it is simply because of the group being people they have not seen before. You do see them watch the non human members of the party more then others.
"You will not be able to find my father. He passed recently." The man says as his already strained features become more stoic. "May I see the letter my father sent you?"
“This is odd, we got this letter from a messenger last night. And even with a nights rest, it took us less then one day to get here. Although i find it odd that i never heard of this village before yesterday.”
From what we have seen so far, how big would we estimate Barovia, i sounds more like a small town to me.
The man opens the letter and seems as if he is confused as he looks it over before shaking his head as he sets it down. "This letter is not in the handwriting of my father and it makes no sense at all... I fear you have been tricked."
The town seems to be a large village but not much more then that.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Errol:
Getting up and striding over to the table, Errol hands over another letter—this one spattered with the messenger’s blood. He says, “We found this letter on the dead body of a courier who was trying to leave Barovia and warn others away—after the tall gate closed behind us, of course.”
Turning to watch the three ladies, he adds, “The man who gave us the first letter seemed to be of Vistanti origin, much as these ladies here appear to be, and he claimed to serve your father, but he also spoke of a great lord who rules here.”

The woman simply continue to watch and show th esame level of interest they had been showing before. They have watch but try not to be to obvious about it as they do.
Errol you believe that the man is telling the truth about being the son of the Burgomaster and about the letter being a fake.
As he is handed the new letter he will read it and nod. "So he died... Yes this one is in fact from my father and it tells the truth. Ireena is my adopted sister."
Aside from a quick, sidelong look to Tierra, Belmarm's gaze otherwise stays on the table and those there. "Way to play it subtle, dear Tierra." He chuckled heartily. "And this great Lord is your father? No? As well as this sister of yours... Care to elaborate on her condition, or...?" He trails off there while casually pulling out a book, ink, and ink well to start taking proper notes again.

"My father had no Vistanti that served him to my knowledge. They tend to simply come and go as they please. As for what is wrong with my sister my father wrote it clearly. She was bitten by the vampire that is more then likely the great lord you were told about.
The women give Tierra bland looks before one of them answers tersly. "You are new to our tavern. My sisters and I want to make sure that you cause no trouble."
“Perhaps we got a bit more adventure than we hoped for,” thinks Errol. Aloud, he addresses the Burgomaster’s son, saying, “I am called Errol; how might I address you? As to the matter of the fake and real letters, well, we are here now, and I doubt that tall gate will let us leave anytime soon. As my friend Falzaren said, as long as we are here, how can we help?”

Belmarm grows silent, and eyes lose their mirthful gleam. "Vampire... is it. How.... interesting." He says coolly. "Please... by all means, how might we be of assistance. And where or who might this vampire lord be?" He asked as he leaned and rested his elbows on the table, then steeple his fingers together.

The man hints to the bartender bring drinks to his table, making sure that it will enough for the entire party. "I am called Ismark. If you wish to help then the best thing Incould ask would be to help my in getting my sister to safety." He says to Erroll before he turns to Belmarn. Before he talks more he makes a symbol to ward off evil. "That would be Strahd. He has ruled over this land for longer then any living can remember."
The women look less the impressed at the threatening tone. "Girl you would do well to close your mouth before you speak once more. In this place it is wise to always be aware of strangers."
Tierra looks around the room before finally joining Errol, not sure where else to go at the moment.
