"That way." The raven moves its head to point away from where the group came.

Errol:

Keeping an eye on the road, Errol waits for the conversation with the ravens to come to its conclusion.

For now Errol sees nothing other then a few of the Ravens slowly flying up to land on the branch of a nearby tree.

"Well then," Tierra says, "we'll leave you to your meal then," she smiles at the bird, "thank you for answering my questions."

"Seems you're done. And assuming that's all that then, shall we press on with you regaling us with our flighty friends story?" Belarm asked and suggest, though made to move along the group's original path to further encourage the rest.

Falzaren will patiently wait with the group, and stay with the siblings.

The raven flitters back over to the tree. As the rest of them go to the corpse, another flies off as fast as it can to the top of a somewhat far tree. It seems to watch over both the other Ravens and the party.

Errol:

Noting the retreating raven's odd behavior, Errol says to Ismark, "It seems to be no coincidence that we run into ravens so close to this Castle Ravenloft you mention.  Perhaps that one goes to inform its master of our passage.  Let us be away from here before we receive a response, shall we?"  Errol starts moving further down the road towards the village, wanting to put distance between their small group and whatever power resides in the castle high above.

"Agree, let's hurry" 

Ismark and Ireena both nod as he begins to lead the way forward once more, his hand going to rest on the hilt of his sword.

Belmarm furrowed his brow, but said nothing. He just followed along after the others. Although after a few steps he cannot help but at least glance back once in the direction the raven had flown off. He almost immediately turned back to focus on following after the others. It felt almost blasphemous to distrust a raven, and even entertaining the thought made him shudder and cringe. "Yes... with all do haste."

The raven in the tree seemed to be busy with preening its feathers before it flew down to rejoin the others.

"Let's keep moving," Tierra says, "we should try and move more before nightfall."

Nadariel nods in agreement with Belmarm and Tierra.

Ismark leads the party further along the road, guessing that they had most of the days travel to get to Vallacki.

 At the foot of a mountain, nestled in the misty forest, is a large lake. The water is perfectly still and dark, reflecting the black clouds overhead like a monstrous mirror.

"This might be a fool hardy question ask--" Belmarm starts, breaking the silence after so long walking in quiet. "And perhaps something to have been asked sooner, but... even without the devil in place, has this land always been so bleak? It's starting to remind me of home, and in not so good a way." He asked of Ismark and Ireena. "Also, just out of curiosity, this Vallaki... is it primarily a fishing village.. town.. whatever?"

"It is not a fishing villag as far as I know. I do know that is is supposed to be more inhabited and better defended then our own. As for the appearance of this as long as anyone can remember it has been so." Ismark says.

Errol:

Continuing to walk towards the village, Errol keeps an eye on the gloomy terrain, looking for any threats to their well-being.

Sorry that this is so slow. I am just going to call the game since I can't giv a good enough pace. Good luck with your future games. I am probably just going to stick to being a player from now on so I may see you there. Good luck and enjoy your other games.
