Tyranny of Dragons

[I don’t believe you actually opened the door. So we’re just kinda talking to the closed door]

Arryn opens the door, his other hand tightly gripping his longsword.

Arryn is greeted by the disappointed dragon face of Rex’ahlia, “Ooor not. You know, one time I would like to meet someone without them having sharp, pointy weapons. Anyway, may we come in my dear,” Rex looks over Arryn, “I wanna say Paladin?”

Arliden already begins moving into the door, "Thank Sune, I'm glad you opened that door. We just managed to 'encourage' those kobolds to move on after this guy," and he points at MonkE, "murdered the face off those two. So, whats your name, so that I may thank you properly?"

"Aye, a paladin. Yes, you can come in. We need to get the people in here to safety." Arryn sheathes his longsword, letting the group in.

Novot's slightly muffled voice drifts in from the inside the chapel. "Out or in, hurry up! Sounds like these scaled fetchers might be finishing each other off, but I'd rather not invite in whoever ends up on top." 

Rex ushers his team in, forcibly pulling in Fjordix’s case, and slams the door behind them. “So, just to let you guys know, they have ambush drakes out there. Think dragon greyhounds. Something to consider when we start moving again...”

“So, not to be blunt be I think we’re on a bit of a time restriction. Who’s in charge of the people trapped here?

Fjordix, pulled by Rex growls at him, "This wasn't meant to take all day, grab the people and lets go" he eyes Rex with furrowed brow and squinted eyes to let him know of his disapproval in being grabbed.

OOC: Fjordix is mad, Madclergy is not mad ;-)

Novot turns around to look at the company. They don't look like any of the other invaders. Good enough for me.

"Everyone," she barks, "on your feet and get ready to run!" She looks over to [let's sayyy] Arliden. "Do you guys have a plan? Or are we just gonna sprint to the keep and pray to Torm?" 

Fjordix steps forward, "We dispatched several and sent the others to fight in the front, the back is clear, but we have to move now, we head for the river and will follow it back to the Keep."

She nods. "Let's go everyone! Be sneaky if you can, but speed is more important than stealth right now. Go go!"

“Get moving! They say fear is a great motivator, and I’ll put the fear of god in each and every one of you if you don’t get your scaleless rears our that door before I so much as blink!”

"I'll take the rear, in case the others give chase" Fjordix ushers everyone out the back door and will follow suit once everyone is clear

Arliden looks back to Novot, "Well, we caused an exceptionally impressive distraction but I'm pretty sure the plan is to run and pray to Torm, Lo, Sune, and any other members of the patheon you'd prefer."

Arliden will run behind any of the village commoners but in front of the warriors, letting Fjordix bring up the rear. If there are any very young children Arliden will pick one of them up while running.

“EYE-OH, WHEN HAVE I EVER PRONOUCED IT AS LOW?”

"Oh great, is this one of those wierd things where its pronounced el-uh or something?" Arliden calls back half laughing.

Rex mutters to himself, “Resist the urge to strangle, Rex...” And continues ushering people out the door.

"I'll take the front," Arryn says to the group. He moves to the front of the group. "Let's get going!"
