You take some time to make sure your supplies are all in order and then head off back to the camp. How close to the camp does the entire party want to go before sending in scout(s)?
[I think it depends on the lookout towers, if those are at the front of the entrance to the camp then we probably need to be further away than 100 feet, you think?]
[Which watchtower are you planning to take out? There is one at the entrance to the camp (the square right under "CAMP" in the top left corner), and another one on a plateau toward the back of the camp (the square further to the right).]
[I’m inclined to say back. Simply because there is more back there. High risk, high reward. However, I can also see the value in taking the first, then moving to the second]

[What is the distance from the back watchtower to the cave, also it looks like we'd have to climb down the plateau to get to it, what is that distance? Is there presumed to be a way to get to and from the second watch tower easily from the base of the camp?]
[The entrance to the cave is ~300 ft. from the bottom of the plateau the watcher stands atop. The walls rise to ~150 ft. at their highest. As for a simple way to get to the upper watchtower from the base of the camp, you weren't paying attention to that while you were there, so you don't know if one exists or not.]
[Eeesh. I was hoping those cliff faces weren't so high up. My original thought was to go through the back entrance and scale down to get into the cave, but now that doesn't seem like such a good idea. Maybe *wince* split the party to take out both guard towers at once, then meet at the guard tower in the front and infiltrate from there??]

"So if your mini-me....can I call him Puff? Or maybe Io? I got it, wit, I'll call him Wit. Anyway, if Wit can't get in why don't I just go check it out? I mean, I'm invisible, I should be fine right?"
“Mostly because if anything catches you, you’re dead meat. Gone, poof, nothing we can do. They won’t make the same mistake of delayed execution again.”

"Yes, but if we have to get within 100 feet of that cave we have to either try and take out a group of people before they can raise the alarm, or get really close to the cave. Like too close. If the cliff walls are 300 ft high then we will literally have to enter the camp either way. Is anyone here better at being sneaky? I'd gladly make someone else invisible but I don't really think we have that option."
Fjordix nodded his head either direction, "I am not for sneaking...Rex this 100 foot limitation, is that just to keep in contact with...was it Poof? Or can it be sent off to retrieve the information and then just come back and report once it is done searching the cave?"

[Within 100 feet of it would be preferred. Just so that I could scout with Hatchling]

[Yeah, could be difficult... Should we take out the watchtower first, then use that as a scouting point?]

[At the middle of the map all the way to the north, is that a grove of trees? Would we have noticed that?
Maybe the best plan is it send Rex’s mini-me into the camp invisible. I mean, you can cover a lot of ground in an hour.]
[True, I just have to be within 100 feet to see through it. I intend to fix this limit later...]

Fjordix nods, "Better to send the small Dragon, if they kill it then I presume Rex can summon it again"
