Fala I must say you have quiet the collection of potions here. I know I'll be investing in your goods at a later time . Thankfully you are just across the alley
Savra , how nice it is to see you . Come on in . Allow me to gather up my friends and teammates I have here. Follow me to our common room. Have a seat , I'll be right back ( If Mr Russell is in here Arthur makes the proper introductions ) * Arthur goes around gathering up Herald , Cloud , & Raven *
After a brief introduction to Mr Russell, Savra says "I appreciate the hospitality, but I really must see to others things. Lord Darkeyes, any of your new friends that wish to join the Order are more than welcome to do so. Bring them by the Halls of Justice after you have seen the publisher."
I will do that Savra. I'll start first thing in the morning concerning the publisher. I'll extend the offer of joining to any of those here that would be interested in joining . I'm certain I know of one who is. May the trolltide holiday treat you well . Good night and I'll possibly see you tomorrow. * Arthur gives her a salute ( I would think they have one ) *

Then I'll go around and gather them. Who knows, might be gold in it for all, or at least keep what you find just like in a dungeon within reason ofcourse ( obviously don't steal, but sure if she has henchmen take their daggers lol) Looks like I'll look for Cloud & Raven. I forgot about Herald's extra activities
On your journey of only a few blocks, the crew is reminded of what they know about the Waterdeep Wazoo.
Broadsheets are usually about 2 hand widths across, and sometimes as tall as a human when fully unrolled. You don't know how many different publishers of broadsheets there are in Waterdeep, but there has to be at least two or three dozen across the city. You have occasionally seen a "broadsheet stand" here and there. Just a simple stand here and there that sells multiple broadsheets at once, along with short story booklets and the like. They are also sold often by "broadcryers", usually young street children or the printers themselves, for their common habit of calling out headlines. Many broadsheets are also hand delivered to noble residences, businesses, and inns to be sold. (they also run ads whenever they can...)
The Waterdeep Wazoo is printed and sold "tendaily", a new issue every tenday. Catty gossip, mocking recounting of important public and private events, and straight-up bawdy jokes are the order of the day when it comes to the Wazoo, and even those who purport to hate broadsheets often chuckle at the Wazoo's content. One of the recurring columns in the Wazoo mocks the nobility quite openly using the old joking "Glunder & Bladderblat" names. Specifically, a column by that name takes something ridiculous done by a real member of the nobility and reports on it, changing the name of the ones involved to either Glunder (if the noble was being stodgy, high-nosed, and tight-vested) or Bladderblat (if the noble was ridiculous, extravagant, or just plain without dignity).
When you arrive at the Wazoo building, you see a large 4 story building. From appearances it looks like offices on the ground floor, and large open windows on the remaining upper floors almost like a warehouse. Just inside the front door is a small waiting room with several seats, a door leading further inside, and a small window about 4 feet up. Inside an elderly lady with glasses looks you all up and down and says:
(ooc - your greeting depends greatly on what you are all wearing at this time)
Arthur : Hello Miss . This is cloud , this is Raven , & I am Lord Arthur the 3rd. I am here to see the publisher on the story of The Black Viper. I was sent to gather any information at all he or she would have on the subject . * he has his best smile on * OOC: Arthur is wearing chainmail, his signet ring , his amulet that bears the symbol of Tyr , hammer hanging from his belt , scroll case at the side , and dagger on his boot. ( damn it I knew I should have bought a pretty flower lol )
*Raven bows respectfully to the woman but let's Arthur do all the talking since he knows the place better than herself* "Good evening, Madam."
(silver chainmail armor with ruby red cloth, chainmail hood covering all of her hair and ruby red cloth on the inside, shield on her right arm as an extension of her arm with the symbol of Ilmater, God of Endurance on the shield in bright ruby red, silver rubied warhammer strapped to her right hip (she is left-handed), pale complexion, grey-ish blue eyes, pink hair that is kept hidden)
"Yeah, um, look we don't want any trouble here. I'm sorry for you if we printed something you don't like. We only print the truth as we we've found it. We don't kindly take to strong armed tactics to hush us up, no matter what you claim your intentions to be."
"I'll ask you to move along and bully someone else, or I'll have to notify the watch"
Lady my apologies, I'm not here to threaten you or bully you. I'll be back tomorrow morning dressed in a more casual manner if it appeals to you . I hope you have a wonderful evening and enjoy the trolltide . * with that Arthur takes his leave *
Looks to see if there is a sign saying what time they'll open in the morning
Alright . I'll be there at 10am. Now time to head back to the manor for the trolltide festivities
That's "tomorrow". It's still the 30th, Trolltide is tomorrow on the 1st.
The current date, as always, can be found on the first post of this thread. The symbol that looks like l<< takes you straight there. >>l brings you back to the last post.
*Raven nods in response, but then walks to the desk and lays a single Gold Dragon on the desk*
"Please accept my apology as well. We did not mean to look so intimidating. We will see you tomorrow. Have a good evening, Madam."
*and with that she turns around and playfully skips out the door, humming to herself, in the hopes that doing so lightens their mood and releases any tension they have of us*
(This is my chance to head to the bakery and cheese factory or whatever I need to, to stock up on bread and cheese for my rations. Can I tell which direction to go once I step outside or do I need to make a perception check?)
Fala I must say you have quiet the collection of potions here. I know I'll be investing in your goods at a later time . Thankfully you are just across the alley
(2GP deducted as ordered and waiting to see where that goes with his contact.)
Sincerely,
-Raven Eclipse Cross

Ooc: would there be time for a quick meeting?
Plenty of time left in the day for a meeting!
If the other players log in....
Then I'll go around and gather them. So off to the waterdeep wazoo we go....
(OOC: On the brightside, this character isn't a gold/lootwhore like all of my others lol)
