Ramious mutters, "Oh, it's gunna wake..."
He sneaks down the passage and into the room with the owl bear....and tries to get as close as he can. If he gets up to it, he reaches his big heavy arms around and embraces the thing, attempting to grapple it into place.

The assumption that barely sentient random troglodyte could wage a personal vendetta against once seen adventurer was quite interesting even if a touch doubtful. Regardless, the evil unconscious creature was successfully ran through, and Cinder could now move to another target.
The owlbear was probably accustomed to the noisy troglodytes, and squabble in another room did not break his sleep. But a mighty grasp of a fearsome tiefling was a harsh wake up call. Though, even awake, the creature was completely disoriented at first and Ramious pinned the beast down with ease (or at least he made it look like an easy task). Now helpless bear was completely open to free beating.
Surprise round for owlbear. Initiative plus actions, please (Bear Initiative in case he will get a turn: 15 )

To speed up the process, Alyssa will start with the Firebolt:
Attack: 15 Damage: 1
Forgot about advantage as well. Once again: Attack: 19 Damage: 8 (it was hit and 9 damage)
Owlbear growled and howled every time weapons and spells hit him (you happily counted three rumbles) and continue squirming, hoplessly trying to free himself from Ramious' grip.
And that was the end of the unsuspecting beast! Mighty tiefling - the scene was truly worthy to be immortalized in stone - could leave the motionless body. As a prize, adventures got the smelly cave all to themselves, the dead beast (Sir Tristan did not say anything about the head of the owlbear, but would not he be interested anyway?) and two additional passages - one to the east, and one to the west.
The battles were easy enough, still, at least Leon and Ramious began to understand all the potions and rings, showered upon them.

"Let's go east," Cinder says to the others, after shortly inspecting both passages. "I think going west would just have us running around in circles."
As the group continues to advance, Cinder lifts a hand to produce flame to better see as she observes her surroundings for any enemies that might be hiding in the darkness: Perception 23
(Same! Just trying to get the hang of things. Thank you for the bot.)
Now with a lifeless Owlbear at Ramious' feet, Alyssa would approach to take a closer look. Mostly for curiositys sake. The scholar would pull out her journal, sketch and jot down a few quick notes before tucking them away. "Think Sir Tristan might be interested in the head?" The elf would pluck a good few feathers from the beast. She'd add one to her shoulder piece before carefully placing the others in her pack. Once satisfied with her investigation, she'd skip over to follow behind Cinder.

Ramious stands back, releasing the dead beasts still warm body, letting the feathered form slump to the ground, its heart now still. He seems to slow his breathing, his rage slowly subsiding. A frown sits on his face moments later as the only part of his rage that is left is a thin sheen of sweat across his muscled shoulders. "Hmmmm. Look at us, killing creatures that are terrorizing the townsfolk....wandering around caves. Just like real heroes. Maybe we are real adventurers." He smiles a toothy grin at the group. Is that.....pride...on his face? He mutters under his breath, "Finally something I'm good at...."
He follows Cinder down the next passageway quietly...Perception : 15. Stealth : 6
The next cave was a little bit bigger than the previous, but Cinder's light reflected from a surface of some liquid - at least half of the cave was occupied by the pool of water. At least judging by the smell (or absence thereof) - the air here was as fresh as it was heavy and musky in the previous cave - it had to be the pool of fresh water.
The other half of the cave is dry rocky and allows to freely walk to another exit - north this time.

"It's fine by me," Cinder says, slinging her warpick over her shoulder. "My runes need a bit of time to recharge after I activate them, so I'll never say no to catching a breather." She takes a closer look at Ramious' state, and then says "You know, my old job was working as a guard on a caravan that travelled between Calisham all the way up to Waterdeep. That's why I'm here now. I know I'm fabulous," - and as she says this, she smirks and her hair flares up with a poof - "But that doesn't mean I'm any less experienced as a warrior than you are. I do think I have a few less tales of my experience written on my body, though, because of one big difference between us."
She leans down and looks Ramious in the eyes.
"I'm not too proud to ask for help when I need it. You can't possibly guard an entire caravan by your lonesome, so I'm used to working with other people." She pauses. "Well. Ordering them around mostly, heh! Still... I don't know who you are or what you went through to get here, but maybe teaming up isn't the worst of ideas for someone like you. You've got the skill... seems like you just need a crew to help watch that scarred back of yours."
Having said her piece, Cinder will take a closer look at the pool just to make sure nothing is going to pop out and try to snack on them while they're taking a short rest.
Investigation: 2
She doesn't see much to be concerned about, though. XD
(With that poor roll,) She simply sends a fireball over the water and looks to see if the surface stirs. If it doesn‘t, she shrugs, figuring things are safe for the moment.

OOC: I am more curious if anyone is trying to drink from the pool, or search for lost treasure there or something like that.
No one tried to attack the boll of fire, thrown above the water surface and dying in the wall.
