Craith, so taken aback by Alexi's sudden rudeness. Only snaps out of his stunned silence minutes after the fight had ended, having only come up with a retort.
"Well... Well no I... I hav-"
Or perhaps not. Quickly giving up, and pulling his Cloak ever so tighter, he sheepishly follows the rest of the group. Hands behind his back, head down.
"Geo fine," the genasi assures, tapping her fists together. She still bears the wound from the goblins on the road, dried blood matting her shoulder, but returns Hausa's look with a fierce grin. "Geo ready kill goblins. Has spell she want try before enter cave."
With the whole party nearby, Geo reaches into a small leather pouch, producing ashes and a sprig of spruce.
"Geo dad taught Geo spell before hunts," she explains, then closes her eyes as she kneels on the ground. "Earth, hide Geo and friends from prey and predator!" she calls in primordial, scooping up some mud from the riverside in her free hand. As she slaps both hands together, a veil of shadows, and the definitive sound of silence resonate from her clap, surrounding the party.
"There," Geo stands, brushing her hands off on her pants. As she walks, no footprints appear in the mud; the party would notice the same result for themselves. "Ready hunt goblins!"
Pass without trace. For the duration, each creature you choose within 30 feet of you (including you) has a +10 bonus to Dexterity (Stealth) checks and can't be tracked except by magical means. A creature that receives this bonus leaves behind no tracks or other traces of its passage.
As the spell is done Alexei inspects his clothing, looking for traces of mud or dirt. "So you do have some magic in you and you didn't sully my cape. Bravo, Geo." He bows to the genasi and with an extend hand towards the entrance of the goblin's cave says "After you."
With an exhaled “hmph,” Geo heads into the entrance of the cave. She’s trying to keep an eye out for goblins and remain on the stealthier side, crouching and stepping slowly, as her tribe would do on hunts. Perception: 3 Stealth: 21. Includes +10 bonus from spell
Hausa will step in after Geo, uncomfortably close behind. “That was very powerful. You are pretty.” The context would appear not to mean precisely what he said, but... there it is.
Geo pauses at Hausa's words, confusion visible on her face. She'd never heard that specific word directed at her. There had always been the "you are gross, you are fierce, or you are strong". She had accepted those compliments as badges of honor, but she wasn't sure how to feel about this one. She wasn't even sure if it was a compliment, or the "sarcasm" her former drow tutor had tried to teach her about.
Finally she settled on the safest reply, muttering back "Hausa too," before continuing into the cave.
The light leaks in from the outside and bounces of the stream and slick stone of the damp cave giving light for next 30ft. or so. There is the constant sound of trickling water, the odd drip and scuffle from a scurrying rodent or something similar. Damp hands in the air as moulds of pleasant yellows and purples cling to the rugged walls of grey.
The stream continues to bend around to a north-east, there is a clear opening to the direct east and you see another opening to north-west bu there is a slope of rocky debris that doesn't look to be a simple task to traverse...

Looking up for just a second, Craith decides to try his hand at talking again. "You see anything? Or anyone?" He says in a low whisper.
Geo sniffs the air, glances down the cavern, then shakes her head.
“Goblins hide,” she whispers back to Craith. “Move careful.”
She glances between the pathways, finally pointing to the large, open entrance to the east.
“Easy for goblin use. May find Sildar and dwarf friend.” She’ll wait for the party’s approval before heading in that direction.
