Just then Carp and another boy run out of the house towards you. As they get closer, you recognize Pip from the Stonehill Inn.
Pip dashes up exclaiming: "Hi again! Carp, these are the adventurers I told you about." Pip turns back to the group. "Did you find the Castle yet? Craig's Mom's Castle, or whatever it is called?"

"Whether it's in the Redbrand hideout or via the payment from the Lord's Alliance once they are removed, there will be gold, but we're also interested in righting the wrongs of the alleged murders the brigands have committed."
"Pip, good to see you again. And you must be Carp? Pip tells me that you have done some exploration nearby?"
Rosie laughs. "Craig's Mom's Castle? I love that. We haven't found it yet, but we certainly hope to!"
Qelline looks up at the mention of the castle. "What's this now? You are looking for a castle in the area?" she looks in the distance, thinking for a moment. "You should visit an old druid friend of mine. Reidoth. There's not an inch of the land around here that he doesn't know. Reidoth recently set out for the ruins of a town called Thundertree, just west of the Neverwinter Wood. They are about fifty miles from here. I'll draw you a map if you like."

Carp replies: "Yes! I was playing in the woods near Tresendar Manor and found a secret tunnel in the thicket. A couple of big ugly bandits came out of the tunnel and met with a pair of Redbrands. They didn't see me but it was close! I think they have a secret lair under Tresendar manor! Do you want me to tell you where to find the tunnel?"
Carp describes in painstaking detail how to get to the secret tunnel, which isn't far from here. You all think that you can find the way.
If the party decides to follow the directions to the secret tunnel, say your goodbye's to Qelline and the boys and give me a marching order, and whatever checks you want to make for your infiltration efforts!

Before leaving, Umbriel will give his boomerang to the boys and say "Thank you, boys. Here, take this - it is one of the tools of an adventurer. You'll need to stay in relatively open fields to use it, but with practice, you can throw this and it will return to you. Good luck, and take care of your mother."
Umbriel will take a position third in line, and will attempt to move quietly: Stealth : 12

The boys excitedly jump over each other at the boomerang, "Thank you! Thank you!" erupting from both.
Qelline says "Thank you, that was very nice of you. Good luck, and remember to find Reidoth the Druid, and say 'hi' for me!"
The party leaves to the sounds of the boys throwing the boomerang and giggling while they try to catch it.

You follow the directions from Carp, and see Tresendar Manor in the distance. A thicket of bushes hides an entrance to a tunnel in the rock, just like Carp told you about. You follow the tunnel for about a hundred feet, and then it opens into a vast cavern, long with high ceilings. It looks like a natural cavern, with parts that have been finished with dressed stone block walls and a flagstone floor. Lanterns on the walls illuminate the cavern.
A cold breeze fills this large natural cavern, carrying with it the faint scent of decaying flesh. A crevasse divides the cavern and is flanked by two rough stone columns that support the twenty-foot-high ceiling. Two arched wooden bridges span the chasm.

You have all been pretty quiet and don't think anyone has heard you. How would you like to proceed?
"Ah yes, the eternal quest for coin!"
Qelline smiles at the Kenku. "And you think you are going to find that in the Redbrand's hideout?"
She looks around, "Now where is..." and then shouts "Carp!"
Ireniana points to Whistler. "We're here for gold as well."

"Yes please! It's very important and that would help us a lot."
