Plenty of trees! Baeshra dashes forward as he turns into a giant spider, then climbs a tree and waits, web at the ready. His well aimed shot covers the Owlbear in a sticky web! The Owlbear is now Restrained.

Rosie initiative: 16
Rosie grasps her amulet and whispers, "Wild Mother, grant us peace." She will Channel Divinity to attempt to charm the creature. "As an action, you present your holy symbol and invoke the name of your deity. Each beast or plant creature that can see you within 30 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw. If the creature fails its saving throw, it is charmed by you for 1 minute or until it takes damage. While it is charmed by you, it is friendly to you and other creatures you designate."
It thrusts and struggles against the webbing, until it catches a glimpse of Rosie. The Owlbear appears to calm down for the moment while it looks at her, then cocks it's head quizzicaly while it sniffs the air.
Umbriel will observe the change in the owlbear's demeanor, and take the opportunity to create some distance - he'll whisper to Droop, "Let's move the cart, gear, and my horse while it's busy."
While he does this, he'll catch Rosie's and Ireniana's eye, so that they know what he's doing.
Whistler cautiously walks up with a big piece of jerky he was saving and offers it to the Owlbear. BIG. KENKU. EYES.
(Assuming Rosie designated the whole party as creatures to be friendly to):
The Owlbear's eyes turn to Whistler as he approaches. Then they focus on the large piece of meat that Whistler is offering. He sniffs it curiously, and then licks it. Then he gobbles it up, pecking it carefully out of Whistler's hands. It then starts sniffing Whistler's hands looking for more jerky.
"Me, Whistler! You?" he asks, completely oblivious to the rest of the party's uncomfortable looks. He fishes out the last piece of fish jerky from his bag and offers it to the Owlbear, "Whistler friend? Whistler is the same! Muscle and feathers!"
Rosie walks up to the owlbear. "Hello, sweetie. We don't want anyone here to get hurt." She begins to untie it while speaking soothingly still, but meaning it for the rest of the party. "We don't have long. Let's hurry and go. Nobody hurt it."
OOC: Yes, the whole party is designated as friendly for it.
Whistler, make one too. It will be with Advantage, but just roll it straight, and we'll go with whichever is higher, your first roll above, or this one.
Umbriel is leading the horse and cart away, trying to keep Droop from doing anything drastic, when he looks over his shoulder and sees Whistler communing with the great beast - and it's mesmerizing. He stops, and just watches the scene unfold.

Droop is terrified of Owlbears, and wants to give it the horse and the mule as a distraction while the party makes their escape. So he is only too happy to have Umbriel make some distance between him and the Owlbear.
As a matter of fact, Pale and the mule have picked up the scent of the Owlbear and are getting quite skittish. Umbriel, you better make an Animal Handling check as well, with Advantage due to Droop's help.
Droop whispers: "Umbrella, we give horse to Beaked Bear, and we run!"
Rosie and Whistler work together to calm the furry/feathered beast as Rosie's spell wears off. Spider-Baeshra watches from above, ready to catch it in another web if it attacks the party.
While Rosie cleans the sticky webs from it's fur, Whistler coos and chirps at the Owlbear, trying to befriend it. The Owblear sniffs more at Whistler's hand. Not finding any more food, it rears up on it's hind legs, then cocks it's head sideways again, looking at Whistler. With a chirp and a growl it slams back down onto all four legs, turns and runs off into the woods. Seemingly intent on leaving.

Ireniana Intiative - 18
Ireniana will draw her bow and wait to fire an arrow. If the owlbear charges the group, she'll fire.
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Owlbears Wisdom Save: 5
Excellent! The Owlbear is Charmed and Restrained.
It thrusts and struggles against the webbing, until it catches a glimpse of Rosie. The Owlbear appears to calm down for the moment while it looks at her, then cocks it's head quizzicaly while it sniffs the air.
Lyngheid looked at Rosie, " Can you make it run away? I would like that very much."
Yes, we'll pause the initiative order temporarily. What do you want to do with it now that it is charmed?

The Owlbear takes the jerky from Whistler and then sniffs him some more.
Rosie helps him out of the web. By the time the Owlbear is untangled and free, the spell wears off.
