Dulbrek nods. "I'll stay here, with the other prisoners, and the exhausted ones on the floor. Please take Ermdohr and the rest that can move here." He points to the dwarves that followed you.
"But you best go now, if you are going! I'll pretend to be on the slave wheel and tell a long story to slow down Zalto and his cronies."
" At the very least all of those who cannot fight should be making their way to the surface and the ship as fast as possible."
" We could try and drop that metal walkway once we've retreated back over it, will slow pursuit.....but its going to make coming back in a bit harder."
She looked at Dulbrek, " Smooth talking an angry fire giant is suicide......"
She placed a hand on his shoulder and whispered in dwarven*, " Berronar Truesilver, Mother of us all, Bear this One Home to the Mountain on His Shield."
She then picked up the youngest, lightest looking exhausted prisoner and began walking towards the giant corpse.
Lyngheid throws an exhausted prisoner over her shoulder and everyone starts climbing back over the fallen giant's body.
The party begins rushing back along the catwalk to the room with the mine tunnel entrance.
Baeshra doesn't detect any signs of pursuit yet, but Ireniana, taking up the rear and being the last to leave, here's the distant sound of a portcullis being raised and heavy footsteps coming from the hallway that Dulbrek pointed out.
Is anyone not running and dashing your way back to the mine tunnels?
As the group escapes, Nyx tries to sabotage the path behind them to slow down the giants.
OCC:
Can she somehow jam the conveyor belt?
She will pour oil just inside the stone pavers coming off the iron grid to the north to hopefully cause a giant to slip and maybe fall backwards and over the edge.
She will us oil to help light supplies in the north chamber.
Then she will does some dash shenanigans, helping some slower dwarves if necessary.

Your passive investigation is enough to see that you could jam the bucket chain, but not with your current time constraints.
But you are able to slick up the pavers, and intend to light a fire in the north chamber when you get to it.
You all seem to be making your escape, and have almost made it back across the cat walk when a handful of fire giants appear from a hallway on the floor below and point up to you. One of them is the familiar face of the young fire giant Zaltember, and one looks to be his mother, dressed in a gown made from black dragon scales and carrying a large pan in one hand and an even larger iron cauldron in the other. The fire giants with her see you and begin scooping up more globs of lava to hurl.
Everyone roll initiative and take your turn if higher than: 22.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
One of the fire giants spins and throws a glob of lava at Droop: 15.
And it smashes into the little goblin doing 15 bludgeoning and 28 fire damage.
And Droop is knocked unconscious!
A second fire giant tosses one at Lyngheid: 12
But this one hits the rail and scatters, not doing any damage. The rest of the fire giants Dash across the floor, heading towards the stairs to chase after the party.

Baeshra roars a word in draconic to heal Droop, then calls down to the giants, again in draconic, "Come and face the mighty Klauth, foolish dwellers in earth! Come and meet the true ruler of air and fire!"

*Guidance.
As soon as the decision is made, Baeshra heads back out and starts keeping an ear out for any pursuit yet.

Baeshra would alternate dash and dodge to keep from being too tired.
Likewise, Umbriel would assist with the slowest slaves, but would try to move as quickly as possible.
Ireniana will assist Umbriel in helping the slaves as well.
