Under no influence to talk, Fletcher shifts back to the group again, keeping to their own company. Many of what transpired processes quickly, but is hard to digest with the broken memory drive.
It all sinks to him, House Cannith, the Baron Krim Cannith marking the crew, and the goblin girl that had appeared to aid them.
Eventually, once Ambre starts to speak, Fletcher's expressionless face and orb-like blue-green eyes follow to her. And eventually speaks in a low rumbling tone that resounds a form of the calm breeze, "House Cannith... They had helped in my 2nd creation. What is there to mark us for? They were pleasant." Fletcher seems to disbelieve Ambre's words, shifting in cross-legged on the floor, moving their body around. The vines around them move as well, and a small yellow flower follows the motion. Some patches of moss seem to slightly loosen, but are deeply embedded into the wooden parts of the Warforged.
It's all up to you. If you think it will make sense for your character read the spoil.
Baron Krim Cannith is part of a Breland coalition of merchants. Although he is not a artificer he was one of the person who made the construction of the floating fortress of Breland, Argonth possible. It is one of the marvels of the Last War. The product of House Cannith ingenuity and Brelish industrial might, Argonth is the largest engine of war ever built. This moving city is home to thousands of soldiers. Currently Argonth patrols the edge of the Mournland, but if tensions rise with Droaam or Darguun, the fortress can be deployed to reinforce a threatened border.
The ship speeds into the night, the huge circle of blue fire that circles the hull lending it the necessary energy.
Gino waves at you, clearly happy to be on his way and mentions you to the side of the ship.
"Have you ever seen such a sight?" he says in an exited voice.
Down below rolling hills and lighted farmhouse dot the country side. In the back Sharn stand tall like a bight needle in the night.
"It should take two days to get to where we are going. We need a bigger crew to man all stations and we have an acquaintance that may help us find some good sailors. They just have to adapt to the flying." he finishes with a big laugh.
"Get to know the ship, it s going to be you home for a while."
Gina looks at Ambre. "I don't think so. Some other construction yard I think. This one comes from Karrnath. You ll see signs of the Silver Flame from time to time carved into the wood by the men who built it." He says, " I m not saying that Cannith didn't help," he nods toward the ring of fire containing the elemental, " But the main parts weren't."
He then turns to Thom.
"Well go get some shut eye then see where you are needed but you ll have plenty of opportunities to make yourself useful in other ways. You should take the time to rest."
Karrnath
In a nation of storms and long winters, the grim and stoic Karrns are accustomed to enduring hardship without complaint.
First and foremost, Karrnath is known for its military tradition. Strength, strategy, and discipline are the core values of Karrnath. Karrnath’s soldiers might be the finest in Khorvaire, but they lack the magical support of Aundair or Thrane, which evened the odds during the Last War. Nonetheless, Karrns are proud of their martial history, and most are convinced that they would have eventually won the Last War.
Karrnath suffered a series of severe food shortages and plagues early in the Last War. As a result, the king embraced the Blood of Vol as the national religion. The priests of this faith bolstered Karrnath’s forces with undead. The current king, Kaius ir’Wynarn III, broke ties with the Blood of Vol and has stopped creating new undead, but Karrnath still has a significant number of skeletons and zombies in service. Many Karrns still believe in the Blood of Vol and approve of the use of undead, but just as many feel that this practice disgraces Karrnath’s proud military history and that the necromancers might have been responsible for the famines and plagues.
Silver Flame
Here are the precept of the Silver Flame
The Silver Flame is force of light that holds fiends at bay. Those who seek to defend the innocent from evil can draw on the power of the Flame.
Every mortal soul can find the light. Inspire and guide others to virtuous behavior; force is a last resort.
Listen to the Voice of the Flame; beware the deceiving whispers of the Shadow in the Flame.
Fletcher moves into the navigation deck, gazing at the speed of the Crimson Blade, moving through away from Sharn. The sight brings a needle of resentment to Fletcher, but he shakes it off. Edging to the edge of the floor deck that looks out into the location they speed-through, his eyes look up to the circle of blue fire that rings around the ship.
He looks toward Gino, and speaks in the same tone as before that comes out of the small slit where a chin would be, "Karrnath? Is it not still plagued by Blood of Vol's undead? How is it standing until now? Have not the food shortages and plagues rumoured to be caused by the necromancers claim the city as an undead ruin?" Fletcher is surprised to hear this from Gino, not knowing the full-extent of what happened after the war, as of many events in curent time. "Anyhow, is there an armory on the ship itself? I may need an improvement to my shortbow. It lacks the full-power of a longbow, which I was sadly not deployed with." He calls back to Gino after a reply from him, sitting on the deck whilst overlooking the land they pass by air. He is strumming the bowstring of an ornate-Vulkoori design shortbow.
"I think the ones who built the hull of the ship might have been from Thrane or ate the very least worshipers of the Silver Flame. If they had to work in a place like Karrnagh it s no wonder they made the Silver Flame carvings. Just a precausion. Better safe than sorry is my guess.
" As for the armory.... There is one in the lower decks. Ask Mitthras if you need anything. It's the big minotaur. You can't miss him," he adds laughing.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Thom takes some time walking around the ship, looking at different points of the ship. Trying to see if he can figure out how it works. If there are crew members working Thom will watch them for some time to see if he can learn anything. When he hears crewmen curse he will wince a little, knowing that it is the norm of this type of job.
Marcus looks at the impressive ship as if truly seeing it for the first time. Aye, I'd say she's quite the marvel. Such an interesting combination of magic and engineering. Must have been quite costly to build such a vessel. I look forward to this journey Gino. Ah and before I forget, who is the acquaintance you speak of? Someone already on the ship or are we traveling to them now?
Fletcher takes himself up, and walks down below decks, looking for a minotaur specifically.
The information Gino had given about the Silver Flame and Karrnath, lacking the proper evidence to piece the together.
Fletcher is almost scanning the interior of the ship, clearly different from the designs in the Last War he saw and experienced. An improvement, but probably not keen for battle. He continues to search for the minotaur.
The minotaur is down below in his room and stepping out when Fletcher sees him.
"Hey, " he says in a rumbling voice, " The names Mythrras, happy to have you on board. The weapons and such are stowed in the room over there. have a look and take what you need but sign for it on the ledger please so I know what to get and who to talk to if things go missing to often." He says this not quite smiling.
Tom's survey of the ship though enjoyable and useful doesn't reveal much. He seems stomped by all this running around and the shouts the sailor call out before doing anything. It s like they have their own language.
On the deck Gino continues talking with the others.
"Yes it is an acquaintance of ours, " he answers Marcus, " He was a former member but he had an accident and had to retire."
He turns to Ambre, " Go pick one downstairs. We can"t have you not ready."
Fletcher nods their shield-shaped head with a cone-top to Mythrras the minotaur, understanding the precuationary measure. He is surprised by his first encounter of a minotaur, unknowing of them during and before the Last War had begun. He speaks toward the minotaur in the same low-rumbling sound of a forest breeze tone, "I have not seen your race at all before and during the Last War. Are you a newer race? Or were your race secluded?" a hint of interest at the end of his sentence, but he strides toward the armory.
Before that, he is able to notice Ambre's presence and calls her over to his direction whilst speaking in a louder-forest tone, "If you are looking for the armory, it is where I am here!" it transitions to a loud yet similar tone to when he speaks to the minotaur.
Nonetheless, he moves toward the armory now, expecting Ambre to follow suit. He searches the armory for any breastplate armor, and a longbow, and finally notes that he must log it down on the ledger before use.
Marcus looks at Gino curiously for a moment before asking. What kind of accident? If you don't mind me asking that Is. I'm just curious about the kind of people we will be working with.
(At some point before the trip is over Marcus will visit the armory and see If there is a hand crossbow and some bolts he can take)
Walben hands the captain the envelope the dwarf left.

Ambre seems more interested in the construction of the ship, "This is rather interesting. I'm guessing Cannith built it?"
