You barricade a room in the manse and settle to spend the night there, eating travel rations and taking turns to keep watch. Lia spends some time fiddling with the rod found inside the chest and figures out that it is an Immovable Rod.
Night passes uneventfully, and you rise just after dawn. The wood is eerily quiet, very few birds are singing and there are no boars grazing in the pumpkin patch. A storm is forming, dark clouds cover the sky and you can hear the rumble of thunder not far from your position.
Rhok guides the group safely back to Falcon's. You hear loud noises as you approach, and as you leave the edge of the forest you are welcome to an ongoing battle. A huge boar, as big as an elephant, has charged against the palisade breaking a small hole. Orcs, half-orcs and boars are just waiting for the broken section to be wide enough to charge through.
Falcon is taking cover in the only stone tower, shooting a longbow at the attackers. You can see his arrows have already found a couple orcs, but he is soon to ve overrun.
Time to roll for initiative! Thunder Boar: 17 Twelve Orcs: 17 Two Half-Orcs: 4 Four Boars: 5 Falcon: 5

Rhok, while maintaining a initial safe distance, pulls the light crossbow from his back, knocks a bolt and looses it at the huge Boar breaking down the wall
She places the sphere right before the wall where the boar has made the small hole, not close enough to the wall to burn it, but positioned that, if the boar wishes to keep attacking the same spot, it is going to get burnt pretty badly.
i assume she has to ram it into the large boar to do this, so...
DC 13 Dex save for half damage, or take 3 fire. Anyone within 5 feet of it then takes 5 extra fire, same save for half, if they are by it at the end of their turn. Would assume if someone wishes to try to move through it they would also take damage, but that is up to the DM.
The flaming sphere surprises the group of attackers. The half-orcs start looking around trying to find what caused it to appear. As they look around, a Rhok's bolt flies among them, hitting the wall with a thwack. One of them spots your group and starts shouting orders at the others. OOC: Rhock can still take a bonus action Crossbow Expert Attack.
Half the orcs start dashing towards you, ending their movement some 20 feet away. The boars quickly follow and overtake them, ending right next to your group. OOC: dashed as an action, none of them attack this turn.
The thunder boar rams the wall a few feet away from the flaming sphere, splintering the palisade in a different spot.

Lothliéncasts Shatter where it can hit more enemies at once, prioritizing humanoids.
Each creature in a 10-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 14). A creature takes 9 thunder damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
"Rhok and Falcon, try and take down the Thunder Boar!" he shouts, figuring that their single-targert attacks will be more effective against the biggest enemy.
Rhok's second bolt misses the thunder boar by a few inches, the lightning sprouting from its tusks makes it hard to aim at it carefully.
Orcs Con saving throw against Shatter: 23, 13, 22, 6, 18, 17
An explosive sound surrounds the six orcs closing in, one of them falls on the ground while the others cover their ears.
Falcon looks at the edge of the forest, spotting your group "not a moment too late! Let's give them hell!"

Xarrothdraws an arch of flame over his head. Three orbs of fire remain and condense into beads of sheer white-hot heat! With roaring cry of the final word in Draconic, the streaks of pure red seek out their orcish targets!
Scorching Ray Ray #1 - Ranged Spell Attack: 19Damage: 8 (fire) Ray #2 - Ranged Spell Attack: 15Damage: 4 (fire) Ray #3 - Ranged Spell Attack: 26Damage: 13 (fire)
Two of the approching orcs drop dead under Xarroth's fire blast and a third one is left smoking. Only three of them are still standing and running towards you.
The half-orcs share a quick look. One waves his arms pointing at the thunder boar. Soon after, the giant boar and two orcs near it glow blue for a second, looking ready for battle. The second half-orc moves towards your group and positions himself in a line with two of you (OOC: picking targets, in order 1=Lia, 2=Rhok, 3=Lothlién, 4=Xarroth. In line: 1, 2). He points a finger at the blackest cloud and another at you. A lightning bolt sprouts from his finger, Lia and Rhok take 29 lightning damage (can pass a DC 12 dex save for half).
OOC: something happened to the dice roller after editing the post, I replaced the rolls with their original results.
