“Yes! The Grand Commander of the Darrington Brigade. We form and sometimes sponsor new adventuring teams. If an adventure is what you seek, you could easily join us! Now what was it you wanted, Doty?” Doty raises a hand and points towards something. “There’s another person over there you would like to meet.” Taryon sighs in exasperation. “You really need to stop finding me new friends.” He turns back to you. “Just wait here for a moment please.” He is led through the crowd by Doty.
Zoya looks after him - somewhat dazzled - and counts the few coins she has through the fabric that holds them. She freezes where she stands, trying to keep as much out of the crowd as possible while she waits for his return.
About a minute later, Doty returns to you without Taryon. “Taryon is going to be accompanying someone for the time being. He asked me to show you back to his estate, where he will talk with you later. Are you ready?”
Leon has checked into his room and then makes his way down to the common area. He finds a table and sits down, ordering an ale. He would listen in on conversations to get an idea of any news from the area. After a while he would ask the serving person for any news of the area as well.
Leon While listening to the conversations going around you, you are able to make out something above the rest. You hear two men talking to each other. “My brother got into a fight with some crazy man and he’s still unconscious. The guards took the freak away.” “What did he look like?” “Really tall, large. Had gray skin with these weird tattoos all over him. He was like something from Xhorhas.” One of them notices you watching. “Mind your own business!”
The tavern door opens and a young man walks in with an ancient-looking book under his arm. You can barely see the tips of his pointy ears under his hair. What do you do?
Orin You enter the Shady Bough inn and see many people at various tables, all spending their day getting drunk. When you look around, you notice a middle-aged man inspecting you from about 20ft away. What will you do now?
"I didn't had time to read it yet you see. I expect a bit of both. A fancy storry inspired by true events. The problem is, i have to return it soon. I hope you don't mind if i start reading?"
I'll order some bread and butter, maybe some pickles and tea. If Leon is hungry, i'll share the bread with him.
From time to time i will stop flying over the text to do some smalltalk.
" What did bring you to this part of the Empire? "
"A book as chance would have it." Leon says with a grin. he orders his ale as the man reads, and would ask the serving person about any news of the area.
A woman comes to your table to give you another cup of ale. When you ask her about news, she says, “No, I haven’t heard anything, aside from some brawl that happened outside the Grumpy Lily.”
Taryon looks confused by your last statement. “Do you not know who I am?”
She recoils a bit, feeling like she made a mistake. "No, unfortunately not. I'm sorry." She clears her throat and gathers herself. "Taryon Darington?"

"Yes, lead the way."
And that is it for Zoya.
Now we go to the Shady Bough inn, where Leon is in his room on the second floor. What are you doing?

((4 silver pieces for good ale, 1 silver piece for not as good ale. You can pick and take out that much from your sheet.))
Make a perception check and a stealth check for eavesdropping.
(Leon is not trying to be stealthy about it.)
He takes the cheaper ale.

She shakes her head. “A pub near the town’s entrance.”
