Jheric continues his frantic excavation. With any luck, he could get a decent-sized line to divert the enemy. With numbers against them, control was key. Shouts downhill drew his attention and he spied several large figures charging toward an outcropping of trees. To his left, shouts and snarls drifted through the darkness as well. It seemed that his allies were skirmishing with the enemy and drawing back toward him. "Everyone, Fall back to me! We make our stand here!" Jheric rushes up atop his mound and looks down across the field. More trenches were needed, but his shining crystal would signal where to run (moving up from Z20 to Y19).
(Mold Earth for bottom-left of Z19, shifting dirt to mound on upper-left of Z19. Should now have a 5x5x5 hole on whole bottom of Z19, then a 5' tall mound on upper half of the square.)

Rixtonlistens carefully as the orc leader barks out his orders and the orcs fan out. He runs forward and throws his axe at the leader (from II15). He then spends a ki to take the dodge action for his bonus action, drawing his rapier in anticipation of the fight to follow.
Throwing axe Attack (rolling with advantage and sneak attack since throwing from behind and coming out of hiding to attack): 28 Damage: 23
The wolf growls in deep anger as the javelin scrapes across its haunch, shrugging off most of the hit. It barely watches the other two weapons fly off into the brush, content in its rage to have the new enemy -- and now it is an enemy -- lose more weapons.
It focuses on the orc to its left (Orc #8) and darts forward almost without a sound. Fangs flash in the rising sun as the beast falls on it.
Bite Attack: 23 Damage: 11
Again if it fails a DC 13 Strength saving throw, it gets knocked prone.
The wolf, barely breaking stride, loops back into the trees at EE22.
Rixton's axe whirls through the early morning air and catches Mizg'rak squarely in the chest; the massive orc staggers backward a full step and takes a moment to catch his breath. He then rips the blade out of his flesh, emitting a demon-like growl as he does so. After flinging the axe aside, he mutters something to the nearby orog and charges Rixton, taking two wild swings with his greataxe...
Melee attack 1: 10 | 16 slashing damage, if successful
Melee attack 2: 9 | 15 slashing damage, if successful
Oddly, the orog (5) that strides toward Rixton makes no attack, seemingly at the behest of Mizg'rak.
The orc (8) wounded by Mola opts to keep his distance and hurls another javelin...
Ranged javelin attack: 12 | 6 piercing damage, if successful

Jheric grabs his gleaming crystal and traces a circular arc over his head. In his hand's wake, a half-dozen flames linger around his head. With a wave, he sends two of them shooting across the field before him at a pair of approaching orcs. "Fodder first while distance provides..." He mumbles to himself. A pair of flashes gives peace of mind that he doesn't need to rely so much on sight.

But his attention is mostly on Mizg'rak, studying him for an old battle injury, a tell, a hole in his training, or some other weakness. Molawolf yelps in pain as the two javelins find their mark, but they do not go as deeply into the thick hide as they should. Still, hearing the sounds of battle erupt around him, and knowing this is a fight that will end only when the orcs see they are beaten, he puts on a show of being terribly wounded. He loops to FF20, fangs bared for another lunge at orc 8’s throat, and ending, seemingly unknowingly, poised to be completely surrounded by enemies.

Gwin sees Aralea wound both an orog (1) and orc (1) nearest to her and decides to capitalize on their injuries. She first focuses on the wounded orog (1). Whispering Dwarvish into the atmosphere she raises both arms over her head, palms up to the sky as if in supplication. The sound of a deep, clanging bell fills their ears as Gwin's outstretched hands come together in a tight fist against her chest and then push outward toward the orog.
Toll the Dead: Attack: 12 If successful, necrotic damage: 16
She then seems to swiftly mold something out of thin air; beams of light spilling out between her fingers. Muttering these words, Blade of Tyr, steady and true, find your mark and pierce it through, a spectral sword appears and illuminates above the head of the untouched orc (3). As she utters the final word of the spell, Gwin snaps her fingers and the sword dives, blade downward, toward its target.
The orog leading the northward charge suddenly comes to a stop as its body is wrought with momentary weakness from the cleric's spell. As soon as it shakes off the haunting sensation of death, two arrows from Aralea's shortbow zip through the air...
As Jheric keeps a close watch on the developing scene to the south, he watches an orog emerge from the shadows. With plate mail rattling and greataxe in hand, it sprints directly toward the wizard's earthen obstacles. Seemingly committed to leaping over both trench and embankment, the orog has no idea that Ferrian lurks in the trees to the east.
The shot clanks off the orog's armor, but it serves a worthwhile purpose nonetheless. Distracted by the bolt that nearly pierced its chest, the orog poorly times its jump toward Jheric and falls awkwardly into the wizard's little trap.
An orog (1) and an orc (1) rush forward, now tantalizing close to the elf that has been stinging them with arrows. Sprinting past the spectral weapon that just gashed it deeply, an orc (3) closes in on Gwin and hurls a javelin...

OOC: really went back and forth here on where Mola would go -- to support Rixton who's outnumbered, or to go save the Pikes, and though he wants to save his new saucy friend, he trusts him to disengage if needed, and hold for a couple rounds. Also Jheric and Gwin to handle their group. His eyes are on the mission targets and keeping them breathing and un-squished.
So he's going to rush past orc 6 to get within 60 feet of Orog 4, trying to not get hit with an opportunity attack, then bonus action shift back to human form once he's within 60 feet, and cast heat metal at third level, targeting the plate armor it's wearing. It immediately bursts white-hot and invisible waves from the heat rise from its form.
20 fire damage on the orog, and huge therapy bills for all within sight and smell range. Also apparently a CON 15 save to "drop" the object or it gets disadvantage on its attack rolls and ability checks, if it's possible to drop plate armor.
He shouts, "Pikes, scatter! Hand, surrender now! We didn't seek this fight but we will finish it!" If he has any movement left he will dart back toward Rixton, yelling, "Fall back Rixton, I've got you!"
