Uh, there's a bit of a complication! Gwins shouts back to Rixton and Rawley. An earth elemental has joined the party over here. (waiting on my attack until I know where Mola and I wind up).

Molaspider:22 | Gwin:19
2nd (advantage) roll for Molaspider: 6
Molaspider, with Gwin in tow, scurries up the cavern wall and, using the strand of safety webbing, makes his way toward Rawley and Rixton who back up several feet to allow sufficient space for the druid and cleric to set foot on level ground. As soon as Molaspider and Gwin reach the mouth of the exit cave, the water once again surges. This time, it rushes upward onto the landing in an attempt to pull everyone into the lake. Rawley and Rixton are too far away, and Gwin, once again, is able find secure footing and resist the pulling tide. Unfortunately, Molaspider, despite having eight legs at his disposal, is quickly swept away and tumbles off the landing and into the murky water.
Peering into the darkness, Gwinand Rixton can see Molaspider, his legs flailing away. Rixton also scans the area for any sign of the eel-like creature he saw moments ago, but sees nothing. He surmises the creature has submerged itself.
Gwin and Mola (and no one else) can see the earth elemental standing near the shore. It stares across the water, possibly watching Molaspider's fate.
Can Mola see anything under the water with blindsight while he gets dunked? Eels, spirits, items? He'd also try to use his movement to swim over to the wall and start climbing as high as he can.
Mola's turn = movement (15' swimming) + action (10' climbing)
The creature lurking in the lake is too far away to be detected by Molaspider, who immediately puts all eight legs into paddling motion. A few seconds later, he reaches the edge of the lake and scrambles up ten feet of slimy rock to reclaim his position next to Gwin, Rixton, and Rawley.
Glancing toward the shore where the earth elemental appeared, Gwin and Molaspiderare perplexed to see that the creature has vanished.
Rixtonlooks at the dripping Molaspider, Gwin, and Rawley. "I think that is enough of a delay," he says curtly. "May I have my things back? Or perhaps you'll just carry them for a while longer in that form."
He turns and proceeds further down the passage, leaving the pool and its prisoner behind.
Molaspider clacks his mandibles and begins to walk. Totally non-affrontedly. He's a relaxed giant spider. But eventually he'll shift back and suggest they stop and have dinner and go to sleep, if they can find a safe place to camp.
Rawleysays, "Keep in that form a while longer please. Lets see what's down this tunnel first. Where there's one pond with a weird creature there might be another nearby."
Gwin pulls a bit of cloth from her pack and tries to help Molaspider dry off a bit, communicating through soft strokes her gratitude at his risking his own life to retrieve her. Then trotting off after the long-legged Rawley and Rixton she tries to ignore the rumble in her stomach and the sand in her eyes.
Molaspider nods to Rawley, and then kneels down and offers to carry Gwin on his back. He takes a foreleg and draws a few phrases in the dust/dirt/slime: "WHAT WAS THAT" and "ONLY WAY OUT IS THROUGH" and "SLEEP SOON?" before scuffing them out.
Gwin gratefully accepts the ride from Mola. Chuckling to herself she says, Perhaps I'll be mistaken for a fierceDuergarand any other creatures we come across will flee in fear. Grrrrrrrrr!

The four adventurers, happy to leave behind the mysterious goings-on in the cavern, continue along the tunnel. A minute later, Rawley's words about another pond feel strangely prophetic. The tunnel opens into another water-filled cavern...
Molaspider spins a web, covering the eastern wall of this second cavern with sticky strands. This cavern, like the first, is cool and damp, and the floors and walls are covered with the same mucous-like substance. Everyone's eyes are on the water, but there's no sign of movement.
Rixton's mind is touched telepathically once again:
If Mola can try to tether himself via spider silk to the wall, and try creating three other strands from the web with a ball attached to the end, offered to each of the party members as a backup lifeline, he will do so. He'll stay on the wall above the web, walking along, mirroring Rixton's creeping, and keeping track of the three lifelines.

All players may act, in any order.
Can Rixton reach the safety webbing to maybe pull Molaspider in?
The webbing is 10' above the surface of the water; so, I don't think it will put Rixton close enough to be of any aid.
Can Mola see anything under the water with blindsight while he gets dunked? Eels, spirits, items? He'd also try to use his movement to swim over to the wall and start climbing as high as he can.

Mola begins spinning some safety web along the eastern wall, about 10 feet up again. Watching the water for movement too.
Rawley takes his coil of wet rope and says, "Lets tie this around ourselves, that way we can at least pull each other out or something."
And he ties one end around his own waist, then hands the rest to Gwin.
"These kinds of underground pools are often connected to each other," Rixton says as he takes hold of the rope as it is passed to him.
He thinks clearly to anyone or anything that is listening.
"How far will you be following us, stranger?"
More water, how lovely Gwin remarks sarcastically. Typing the rope around her waist she continues, what could possibly go wrong?

"Forward or backward? Which will you choose?"

Rixton responds in thought. "I shall entertain you by making it a surprise."
The rogue creeps along the edge of the wall, waiting for the water to draw him in again...
