Rawley walks forward, firmly gripping his blade and ready to face the three undead who now rush at him. Rixton watches with satisfaction as his axe smashes violently into the ghast in the northern portion of the room.
Actions for Molasnake and Gwinare next, followed by the ghasts.
Gwin retches at the smell surrounding her. It smells like someone died in here! Oh, wait......she says with a chuckle that immediately morphs into a loud gag. Moving forward 25 feet she procures her amulet with the image of the Maimed God and with a quick prayer uses her Channel Divinity in an attempt to turn the two ghasts closest to her.
Channel Divinity: Turn Undead
As an action, you present your holy symbol and speak a prayer censuring the undead. Each undead that can see or hear you within 30 feet of you must make a WIS saving throw (DC 16). If the creature fails its saving throw, it is turned for 1 minute or until it takes any damage. A turned creature must spend its turns trying to move as far away from you as it can, and it can’t willingly move to a space within 30 feet of you. It also can’t take reactions. For its action, it can use only the Dash action or try to escape from an effect that prevents it from moving. If there’s nowhere to move, the creature can use the Dodge action.

Molasnake moves NW, to the square two square north of the center torch. Then a quiet, coldblooded fury sweeps over him, snake eyes flashing and the huge coils shaking with fury. (Mola goes into a rage as a bonus action. This also makes the faerie fire, as useless as it was, go away.)
He then holds his action for a bite to any of these ghastly creatures who get within 10 feet of him.
To the north, the shadowghast darts toward Molasnake and quickly evades the giant reptile's attack. The ghast responds, making a strange gibbering noise, before attempting to sink its teeth and claws into its foe...
(OOC: the attacks against Rawley should have been with disadvantage, but they both missed anyways, so that's fine)
Correct! Thank you for the reminder.

Attempt to avoid restraint: 23
As Molasnake methodically begins to crush the shadowghast in his coils, Rixton strikes the undead horror twice. The shadowghast goes limp and lifeless, slumping to the ground.
A few feet away, Rawley slashes the ghast twice, creating massive but bloodless wounds across the creature's chest. The ghast staggers momentarily before successfully avoiding two more swings of the fighter's sword...
Gwin's action is next; only one ghast--severely damaged--remains, standing before Rawley.

Gwin can't remember the last time she wielded her war hammer, but she figures now would be a good time. Easily covering the short distance between herself and the lone ghast she swings the hammer over her head three times, and with full momentum, barrels it into the undead creature's torso.
War Hammer:15 If successful, bludgeoning damage: 3

Rixtonsteps on the fallen shadowghast and grips the handle of his handaxe, lodged in the creature's head. The rogue pulls it out with a dry schloock sound. He runs toward the remaining undead about 15 feet, takes aim, and throws the handaxe again. He chases the axe to its target, striking at his foe with a flying elbow strike.
Handaxe Attack: 26 Damage: 11
Elbow Attack: 16 Damage: 5
(Looks like an excellently thrown axe followed by an elbow strike to a stone wall.)
After the damage caused by Gwin's hammer, the second part of Rixton's attack is wholly unnecessary, for the ghast is sent crashing into the stone floor by the devastating accuracy of the thrown blade. The battle ends as quickly as it began, and the room is completely silent. The footsteps of the two fleeing ghasts have now receded far into the darkness.
Molasnake's rage fades, with regret. He slithers over to where the shadow ghasts came from, first north and then south, to see where they came from, what sort of enclosure, how long it seems they were there, if there's anything else, etc.
Assuming nothing, he then moves ahead down the hallway to the west, in slow pursuit of the other ghasts and whatever else is there, not wanting them to prepare too much.
Now that the battle has ended, the party members are able to assess their surroundings a bit more thoroughly. The countless number of bones are not the only items strewn about the place. Remnants of straw mattresses and can be seen here and there in addition to the wooden framework of dozens of bunk beds, nearly all of which are severely damaged and structurally unsound. It seems this place was once dedicated to housing the citizens of Ascalhorn if some sort of emergency situation arose on the surface in the city itself.
Molasnake slithers across the room, checking the enclosures to the north and south. He deduces that they were used for storage purposes. The nearly square wooden enclosures were likely granaries; the semi-circular stone enclosures appear to be cisterns.
Moving forward in torch-throwing increments, the four adventurers follow the hallway as it bends to the right. They quickly reach a second open room that is nearly identical to the first, including the layer of bones upon the floor, the shredded straw mattresses, broken bunk beds, granaries, and cisterns. After checking the granaries and cisterns for the possibility of hidden ghasts, the party is confident this room is empty.
They continue to follow the wide hallway and arrive at a third open room, very much like the first two. Rawley's torch lands amid a pile of bones and debris as Gwin's thaumaturgy intensifies the light, allowing nearly the entire room to be illuminated. The four adventurers are not surprised to see the bones, and ruined mattresses and beds. They are, however, quite surprised to behold a fire giant.
The massive humanoid stands there, greatsword in hand and with only a few inches between the top of its head and the stone ceiling. Motionless and silent, he glares at the four people who have entered the room.
Gwin returns her war hammer to it's place and follows closely behind Rawley, continuing to cast Thaumaturgy on each torch he tosses (within 30 feet of her).
Upon reaching the room with the fire giant, Gwin emits a quiet whistle. Well, that's a tall drink of hot water, isn't it?
Forgetting where they are for a moment, Gwin instinctively casts Banishment in an attempt to avoid any kind of confrontation with the giant.
(I wrote this with the assumption that my cantrip and my banishment spell were two separate actions in our approach and arrival to the third room)

Held Attack: 24 Damage: 16
WIS saves for ghasts: 19 and 16
Gwin summons the divine power of Tyr, and two of the ghasts stop immediately in their tracks, turn, and flee into the darkness from which they came.
The third ghast continues its charge toward Rawley, lunging forward with its mouthful of teeth agape...
...but the creature finds nothing but chainmail.
To the north, the shadowghast darts toward Molasnake and quickly evades the giant reptile's attack. The ghast responds, making a strange gibbering noise, before attempting to sink its teeth and claws into its foe...
...and it chuckles with glee after successfully wounding the snake twice.
All players may act, in any order.
Molasnake's rage barely registers the hits (marking down 12 damage, reduced from 25), and he tries to constrict this one too.
Constrict Attack: 13 Damage: 15, same DC 16 save to be restrained.
His head beginning to clear, Rixton draws his shortsword and charges forward to help finish off the shadowghast.
Flanking shortsword Attack: 26 Damage: 16
He follows this attack with a punch to the kidneys.
Sucker punch Attack: 19 Damage: 5
"Mermi?" he says. "I thought we had a deal! Where are you going?"
(Oops! I finally crossed my game threads. Blah.)
(OOC: the attacks against Rawley should have been with disadvantage, but they both missed anyways, so that's fine)
Rawley evades both attacks easily and tries to cut the thing to pieces (magical longsword, just in case it's relevant):
Attack: 13 Damage: 16
Attack: 10 Damage: 14
If it doesn't fall then he takes a deep breath and continues (Action Surge):
Attack: 12 Damage: 11
Attack: 17 Damage: 13
(if it did fall then he'll join the fight against the shadowghast and takes those attacks against it instead)
Correct! Thank you for the reminder.

Gwin's hammer strikes the ghast, but the blow is a glancing one. The foul-smelling undead turns its blind rage upon the cleric...
...missing narrowly with its teeth, it is able to carve a few deep gashes into Gwin's arm with its lengthy claws.
All players may act in any order. The ghast standing before Gwin and Rawley appears to be the only remaining foe.
Undeterred, Gwin takes another swing with her war hammer. War Hammer: 22 If successful, bludgeoning damage: 7
