As the talk of gods starts up, Nicolas will raise his hood again. He holds his torch aloft so anyone who wants to can get a good look at the murals can, but will avoid looking directly at them himself. He will make his way down the rope the first chance he gets.
Aluzira smiles as Anakis places her hand on the mural that must be her deity, and watches her climb down with the others. Looking back towards the mural she sees Nicolas pull his hood up again like he had when Tarek and sent the three halfings off in prayer. She starts to ask about it but shakes her head, “best not to pry.” She will climb down last.
Okay, assuming Torrent is also ready to descend, turns are taken using the rope, the halflings taking a little longer than the big folk because of their smaller reach, and finally everyone is out of the little circular room above.
The chamber is as Ash perceived it (Post #1350). The addition of torchlight doesn't do much to dispel the feeling of a disembodied presence that seems to permeate the area.
Anakis, your eyes of the dark see farther down the two passageways, but they continue on more or less straight to the end of your vision as well.
As Torrent shimmies down the rope, he rumbles a little. "Sure, why not descend further inta the madness. Sommat's broken in my mind. Musta, or I'da gone back up to the surface."

"I don't see anything," Anakis says, turning to Tarek and Torrent, "The halls just seem to go on. Do you feel like there's something down here too though? It's making the hairs on Custard's back stand on end."
"I can't explain it," says Remacle. "I've got the strangest feeling that someone's just by my side or right behind me. My mind must me playing tricks on me because there's no one else here. At least, I don't think so."
He busies himself examining the potshards and the old decanter from which he dumps out some chunks of dried up sediment. "Must have been a wine cellar of some sort," he says.
Edit: Also, Anakis, the ceiling looks shiny with dampness, but otherwise fine.
"Maybe this is where the undead are coming from?" Tarek suggests. Either way, he can't shake the strange feeling coming over him. Tarek has a hearty laugh at Torrent's words, and adds, "We've come this far, why turn back now?"

"Believe me,"Nicolas says to Remacle as he lowers his hood. "There's always someone else there."
He will retrieve the torch he dropped down here and then move with his lit torch to see if there are any markings on the wall near the arch (Investigation: 11) and to allow those with darkvision to hopefully see a bit further down the tunnel.
Which way do you want me to go now? Anakis thinks to her patron. She makes her way over to the entrance of the smaller of the passageways and peers into the darkness, then nods. "Let's go this way," she says as she turns around to look at the others and point down the passageway.
Nicolas, what sort of markings are you looking for on the wall, and for what purpose are you hoping to see them?
Anakis can see 120 feet down each hallway, much farther than the torchlight can penetrate the darkness. The only significant difference between the two hallways is that the one that begins at the archway is twenty feet wide, while the one that Anakis has pointed down is only ten feet wide.
Nicolas is looking for any kind of decorative carvings, painting, or other embellishments that might suggest what the original purpose of this section of tunnels was in the hopes of having as much foreknowledge as possible if they run into any inhabitants.
Aluzira nods in return and moves towards the smaller tunnel and begins to make her way through, hands ready to reach for her daggers at a moments notice. Less than a minute into the tunnel she randomly asks, “Does anyone here know simple illusion magic? Like the sound of wind in the trees as well as perhaps making the walls look like dense vegetation?” before quickly adding, “Ah! and by simple I mean you could use the spell many times without concern?”

Anakis giggles as she calmly sneaks ahead of Aluzira, "I would have thought you'd have had enough of trees and vegetation after our travels in the bog, Aluzira." Anakis keeps her eyes ahead, using her dark vision to watch for any movement or possible traps as she moves (Stealth: 18 and Perception: 4).
Tarek rolls his eyes and chortles. "I'd take the bog over this any day," he says humorously. He walks right beside Aluzira, staying with her every stride.
Ash looks at Alizura "You mean like this?" With a quick gesture and a word muttered under his breath, a glowing light appears in his hand. It starts to change shape, and soon a white horse stands on his palm. "I could probably keep this up all week. With a bigger one *He shrugs* I am not sure, but at least a few hours, if not a day."

Aluzira laughs “I would have thought so too,” then adds with a smile, “but It was a little less daunting then stone walls and zomblies,”
“That’s amazing,” Aluzira says looking at the little white horse in awe, “And it won’t keep you from casting other spells?” She asks curiously. “If not, and if no one else objects of course! Do you think you could make the walls appear as trees?” She continues ahead following Anakis through the dark tunnel hands still ready to reach for her daggers.
"The last time this kept me from casting other spells was when I was three" He says with a laugh. He looks confused, but does as she asks, to the extent that he can manage.
