Akome winces from the unseen arrow, now taking the initiative of going down from the carriage as Salgim motions him to come down. "What's going on? Cottage archer?" he replies simply without acknowledging much of the information, though he eyes now cautiously around the open parameter, before returning sight to "traitors" ahead. From there his face is of confusion, left without any words to leave his mouth; an adrenaline starts to creep through his sense of perception, to which he does not stop to continously be sure to the party and the scouts that no other stray arrows come unsuspected.
[You see the other personel up ahead in an uproar as they figure out what that arrow was all about. Meanwhile, Viscountess Haru seems calm as all of this was happening. You realise that panicking wouldn't help, as the viscountess has just shown you when you looked at her.]
Salgim approaches the carriage to relay his information to the Viscountess. "The birds tell Salgim that there is a someone in the cottage. They indicate there only being one, but could give no more details than that."
Looking from the Viscountess to where Basho stood with the scouts, Salgim continued. "Perhaps the three of us should approach cautiously, while the rest of your men keep an eye on those that would block our progress down the road?"
"Right..." Akome mutters to himself while eventually understanding the Viscountess's visual aid to be focused at the problem at hand, to which he eases himself into a controlled automated breathing as opposed to a short feeling akin to adrenaline; even still, he finds it hard to believe that a stray arrow directed to the caravan's scouts would be from a third-party and not from the opposing traitors as to now.
"Will you be alright, Viscountess Haru? If we will pursue the cottage Salgim was able to find, and while your men are occupied with the "traitors", I cannot help but feel that you could be prone to any unseen attackers..." He expresses a worried tone as he speaks, for although it seems wise to find the source of who tried to attack them, Akome interpets it of leaving the Viscountess under little-protection, or so the wolf-tengu thinks. Nonetheless, his main-hand now edges to the hilt of his greatsword which currently is positioned to the left of his waist, stowed in a regular-design of a scabbard — but around the middle of it seems to show a depicted symbol of something, though not visible enough for it to be eye-catching or important.

"Just be careful, I don't think anyone was hiding in that cottage before when I passed by here."
(What’s the person doing who was coming forward to meet me and the scout?)
(He has his broadsword on the ready- his left hand ready to grabe it's handle at any time as the "leader" of the traitors seem to not flinch at the sight of an arrow being fired near him.)

"Please do not worry, I have just silently casted [Detect Magic (lasts until next turn)] just now."
"You heard her. She's quite safe! Look! Basho moves without us!" Motioning once more for Akome to follow, Salgim moves quickly to catch up to Basho.
When he does catch up he moves into position to Basho's right. Eyes focused intently on the cottage he says to Basho, "What do you think they're getting at? Salgim would expect a trap before he'd expect a lone archer against all these soldiers. But, the flying ones say to Salgim, that there is only one they have perceived."
With a shrug of his shoulders he continues with a grin. "Whatever the truth, Salgim must speak honestly. This is a good deal more entertaining than bumping along the road half asleep in the carriage!"
Akome swiftly catches up to his companions while staying close to Basho's left, and hoping to work as the eyes of his companions as he steels his resolve; using his natural affinity to tracking and perceiving well with both his wolf-like ears and clear-seeing eyes set forward to the cottage they plan to go towards, all the while the greatsword currently sheathed in the fairly normal scabbard — although now the symbol depiction is clear to Basho and less-so to Salgim: a round surface for a mountain range, and a small rounded circle at the bottom center, with a clean-version of a miniature hammer facing upwards. A realization could be found if anyone wishes to really give sight to Akome's person, but his holy emblem and the symbol on his scabbard seems to relatively share the same imagery, except that the symbol on his scabbard has a noticeable flow of water that looks to be from a spring below the mountains range, and his holy symbol has a slanted greatsword at the top of the emblem that looks to be incomplete.
"Ican't really see how this is entertaining, Salgim, but maybe it's just the feeling of not knowing what could happen next from this unseen attacker that unsettles me." speaking to Salgim without losing his eyes concentrated and locked to the cottage, yet he does acquiesce in Salgim's original motion to carry along with their investigation of the cottage, he trudges along no matter, allowing his thoughts to flow freely while he steels his senses.
"Cautious, Curious, and Excited! These feelings compliment one another!" Salgim chuckles, his eyes watching the cottage for any signs of someone retreating from it.
"Come out of there!"He yells to the cottage.
"Salgim does not want to hurt anyone! Salgim believes discussion is always best! But Salgims companion," Salgim looks to young Akome and winks.
"Salgim can see that his companion Akome, is itching to use that greatsword, see how his ears twitch in anticipation! It would be a shame if Salgim had to search for you, and was unable to find you, before blood thirsty Akome! Why, he was just saying how excited he was at the chance for battle! Salgim assures you, if you come out on your own, Basho and Salgim will keep your neck and Akome's blade, unacquainted!"

[Sorroundings desc.] You see that the sorroundings of the cottage are ruins of a fallen kingdom that looks "human-built"-in appearance. Especially the cottage, with the roof already caved into the structure itself; which let some amount of sunlight into the place. Though, it was barely enough to get the idea of what it looks like from the outside.
[Roll result] Mere silence, the archer did not look like he or she was interested in what you Salgim had in mind. Not even any amount of noise resulting from any movement.
Basho’s eyes tighten as he keeps a sharp eye on the area surrounding the cottage.

"Perhaps we should find out!" Salgim replies loudly to Basho, before indicating silently, by pointing to himself and motioning with his hand, that he will go around back just in case.
As quietly as he can Salgim makes his eay around the right side of the cottage with the intention of going all the way around to cut off a backdoor retreat.
Basho walks closer to the cottage, and then casts the flame in his palm onto the wood. He just wants to force out the archer though, so will be ready to use Ray of Frost or Shape Water to prevent the fire getting out of hand.

"W—What? We can't burn this c-cottage down, that's far too crude and ineffective, and an insult to whoever made this structure in the first place-" Akome replies with a deep concern in his tone, removing his hand from the hilt of his sheathed greatsword, instead using his main-hand to perform a light incantation that his Tengu father had taught him of before his father had retreated back to the mountains to continue his duty; his Hengeyokai mother aiding him in controlling his innate magic and channeling it effectively to not come as a waste. He casts Minor Illusion as the spell takes form of an audible scream, almost manipulating the sound of Akome's voice but now in a higher pitch and tone. It yells: "You must leave the cottage! There is no time for you to waste idling as my companions are going to forcefully burn the building until you leave!" Oddly enough, the scream seems to only be heard within a specific range that does not reach the "traitors", yet it is feasible to be heard from the inside of the cottage. The illusory sound continues to emit the sound, although altering the contents of the words to not be heard as repetitive; it continues to plead without fail.
All the while this continues, Akome faces toward Basho with acquiescence in mind of his expression, not realizing the intent of his to aid his party in fishing out the unseen archer that had previously attacked them. His clean traveler's clothing that reaches to his pants underneath the worn robust armor encapsulating green, yellow, and crimson shades among its color in a variety of designs, but seemingly modest in appearance to not make his appeal look flashy or attractive to the eyes at first, ripples from the magic he taps into, his pure-white wolf tail with the white and auburn-tipped hair and wolf ears bearing semblance to necessary reluctance in his bright crimson eyes.
Persuasion: roll value - 5 (For the effect of listening to the voice against the unseen attacker presumably in the cottage.)

Basho turns to the scout. ‘Keep him occupied while we deal with the archer please?’
He then turns toward the cottage, walking briskly and using Gust to attempt to thwart another direct arrow.

’I wonder if they’ll come out if the cottage starts burning?’ he says, loudly enough to be heard in the cottage.
