Basho thinks back to the previous hour’s travel, thinking if there’s a good place to conceal the carriage. If there’s a good spot, he makes a big deal of turning the carriage to leave, and starts heading to that spot, out of view of the guard.
Insight: 17
(Basho’s Perception has the same modifier too in case that’s more appropriate)
Blue Eyes continues to stand back from the guard before walking away from the guard's sight.

[@JorvikDave With the carriage now far enough, you managed to somehow hide the vehicle near the mouth of a cave that doesn't seem to have any monsters in it.]
[@Al_the_bard The guard watches so suspiciously as you nack away but doesn't really do anything other than lowering his halberd.]
Once the carriage is safely hidden, and the tracks to it concealed, Basho turns to the unnamed Kitsune. 'We obviously need to sneak past the guard, but do you have a view of where we should be heading afterwards? Do you have a map of your country perhaps?'
He's happy to be off the carriage and on his own two feet again, but would like to know where they'll be walking.
For the observant:
Basho walks with a comfortable rolling gait, such as you might expect from a seasoned sailor or fisherman. When stood still for any length of time he tends to sway slightly.

"The gates should right about be half a day if we walk the rest of the way."
The unnamed fox pointed out as you and the rest snuck slowly behind the bushes on the side of the road in an attempt to get past the checkpoint without being detected.

Salgim will step forward, pushing back the hood of his deep green cloak. He is in his human form, understanding that the extinct species form could often put people at unease.
"My companions and I have been hired to escort the Madam in safety." Salgim stated plainly, his usual sly grin occupying his face. "That is our stated business! The business of the Madam, in the mean time, is her own to state. Those fellows at the check point a half day back," He motions over his shoulder with his thumb. "saw fit to grant us passage! It would be wonderful if you could do the same. The sooner we get her to her destination, the sooner Salgim can have a drink" He winks and gives the guard a thumbs up.
((Late reply, sorry for that, let's just say Akome managed to slip through via leaving a couple of paces away, and then entering the bushes in similar fashion of his partymates))
Akome can be seen besides Salgim, uncomfortable being unaccustomed to moving past the bushes, dusting their hair and clothes off for a few moments. The trek is relentless for him, but he seems to be alright enough to continue for an hour or two. Now reaching the gates leading to Oksa, Akome listens to Salgim's explanation, for seeing that he struggles while in conversation, Akome provides some of his own reasonings that stem from buying materials for his forge before showing a small emblem that picturizes a mountain with a forge underneath it, while a hammer sits atop its peak:it is an emblem that not many know of as it represents Akome's guild, outside of a few Tengu villages in the mountains. He tries to bring the conversation to include his partymates and the Kitsune as well so they are not excluded.
Action: help Akome tries to provide aid for Salgim's attempt of persuading the guard. ((@Yuknow you may roll again, I think))

"Alright, that's enough, Dear Adventurers. Sorry about that, gentlemen. My friends here were just trying to help get the rest of us inside, do forgive them."
[You attempt to reason with the pissed off guard. But due to the situation, the unnamed fox showed some kind of "crest" to the two guards that she took out from underneath her cloak.]
"Hey isn't that.."
"Indeed, it is..."
[Are what you here the two whisper to each other, knowing full well that the holders of the said crest wasn't someone they should mess with, no matter the circumstance.]
"Our sincerest apologies, ma'am. This was please."
[They made unsure looks at your party but eventually let you through.]
[You start to get even more curious about the social class of the unnamed fox which stemed from how she somehow got the guards to let you in with her just showing them the said object.
When you inquired about what her social rank had been, she only told you: "You would find out soon enough."]
[The architecture of the structures inside of the kingdom's walls looked oriental, with it's east asian hip-and-gable roofs which were covered in roofing tiles, to the rest of the structures made of wood.

As they pass through the the gates, Salgim's grin slips from his face. He says nothing while he follows the Madam's lead into the kingdom. Though, he does wonder.
What exactly had he and his companions gotten themselves in to? Why was this kitsune so withholding of even the tiniest sliver of information? Who could she be? To have only needed to flash a bobble to be granted passage from a supposed invading soldier? Royalty? Military? Why not flash said bobble at the first checkpoint?
Salgim felt especially foolish, only just putting any real thought to those questions. It was not uncommon for some one to hire him and not give their true identity. But this woman had dragged him miles from home into another kingdom and too many things needed explaining.
He says nothing, and keeps pace with the group. But as they plodded along over stone brick roads, Salgim will focus his attention on their surroundings. Trying stay alert to potential dangers.

((Dndbeyond wont load up my character sheet keep getting error. I'll come back with my + to perception when it loads for me))
Akome pockets his guild emblem, showing an obvious expression of surprise as the Kitsune had somehow seamlessly granted the party—including herself—passage to the kingdom, showing a hint of doubt on their long venture to be but a simple task.
It is at this time that Akome's body loosens its tensity, guessing to be safe within a kingdom's walls, his expression shifting back to a neutral face while looking at the structures and people as well. He is not being overtly cautious, if not more intrigued as it is his first time traveling with a band of people he has yet to trust. Perhaps this journey was for naught? A doubt forms, but it is quickly woven aside as he still wishes to aid the kitsune despite her ambiguity.
Not long after, he speaks directly in Common to the party, in hopes of getting a conversation started. "Have any of you been to this—Kingdom, before? I certainly haven't. It's definitely different compared to where I come from," Akome shifts his attention the group, awaiting a reply while keeping his pace with the rest of them.

@Yuknow [You find that there seem to be invading soldiers around the place- the royal capital. [That was how you seem to be getting around, until you notice another gate in front of you, that was when the unnamed kitsune informed you about what lies beyond the said gate- the next state and after that abother state where a village where the resistance has taken over as the place where the high-ranked soldiers that have decided to still stay by her majesty's side have taken as their base. The smell of masacre had been made apparent as you go through alley after alley... and narrow road to narrow road... it was quite obvious that what the unnamed fox had told you was indeed true, that the invaders did indeed murder the people from her homeland.]
"Let us proceed with caution from here on out, there may be assasins that may attempt to kill any of us as we make our way to our destination."
[As she announced, she showed her crest once again and the guards let you pass through once again with the same expressions that the previous guards from before had shown you.]
Basho relaxes a little as they leave the city - he clearly didn’t like the claustrophobic alleyways, and the endless stone buildings. He doesn’t relax his vigilance however, keeping an eye, and ear, out as they travel.

[Your party makes it through the checkpoint, only producing a small amount of noise due to their bodies brushing against the bushes.
