Rufus prepares to cast frostbite again.
He points at the skeleton at the fore front singling it out for destruction. Swirls of water vapor surround the skeleton with frost crystalizing upon the age darkened bones.
Connar was perhaps overconfident, but Hatch, Rufus and Tom destroyed another two and Torrin sent another blast smashing the last one into the side of the passage.
Dirt and dust continued to drift down from the roof of the corridor, suddenly a section of the floor fell away and the remains of the skeletons tumbled down along with half a ton of stone and rock to crash to the ground far below.
Before anything else broke away the companions quickly moved forward.....
They soon came to a four-way junction. Ahead a the short corridor ends in a huge thick door, bound in iron and looking as strong as it did when it was first built. The corridor to the left disappears into darkness with a foul, rotting stench coming from down there, and the corridor to the right is shrouded in blackness but there are faint sounds of shuffling, banging and moaning.
"Well, it looks like no matter which we pick, we'll have a fight for us. I for one feel we should try the door first, before walking into unnecessary danger." Connar cracks the knuckles in both hands, and twirls his blades.

Tom quickly jumps away from the floor falling away "Woah!" and then continues with the party until they reach the 4 way junction.
Tom will respond to Connar "I tend to agree with you again sir... the one passageway stinks of all high heavens, and I don't like the sound of the noises coming from the other one. Door it is! You want to try and open it? It seems much sturdier than the other doors, hopefully they left it open. Hey, where'd you get those blades? Real nice weapons you have there."
Tom has his bow at the ready covering whoever might try and open the door.

Rufus covers his nose in disgust to the darkened hallway. He exams the door & the shadowed noisy hallway.

Rufus says, "I prefer to leave bound doors to me back and leave them for another time. The sounds and stench concern me and I'd rather address them then allow an unknown threat take me unawares. I suggest we take the noisy passage." Having voiced his opinion, Rufus awaits the rest of the groups thoughts on the course to take.

Brocc nods to the door as well. "I agree checking the door first seems wise. He moves forward and tries to open it. If it is locked he will pull out his thieve's tools again. "Can someone give me a hand here?" He asks.
Connar flashes a knowing smile at Tom. "I ah, made them out of some, eh, borrowed blades." Smirking at Brocc's failed attempt, he tries to pick the door himself.

Hatch tries to keep an eye out for anything, checking out the door and looking down both side passages for anything that can help.
"I agree with the consensus of trying the door first, but if we can't open it without causing as much noise as last time then we should try and clear out the enemies nearest us while we have the option of some stealth."
The door clicks open as Connor works and then swings inwards, small rocks and loose soil fall from the ceiling.
This room appears to be another storeroom ( no other exits), but it seems to be where the belongings of prisoners who were once bought down here were placed. There are crates stuffed with clothes, shelves stacked with pots, packs and wooden boxes, and random broken and torn items scatter the floor.
Hatch doesn't hear anything approaching....but among the various sounds of rushing wind, falling debris etc. he may have missed something.

Connar moves inside the room, and starts searching. (Wisdom: 9 Investigation: (Not sure which to roll.) 5) He checks for anything valuable, only once finished does he check for important things in the room. (e.g walls, floors, ceiling.)
(OOC: Yep, I knew it, now his rolls are dropping lol.)

Hatch steps into the room and looks for anything useful. If nothing else should any enemies come it'd be easier to deal with them attempting to come through the doorway than risk them swarming from two sides.
(Could someone with better perception and investigation modifiers and profiencies do this? Who's our int/wis guy?)
Connar reaches for the Quartz, recognizing the expensive gem. "As I was the one who unlocked the door, I should get the best item." He nods his head like this settles the matter.

"We split things fairly, down the line." Brocc informs him, and the others. "Let's put everything into a bag, if it is of no use right here and now, and we can make sure to split things up evenly as we have time later on."
