Garet his mind still reeling about the power they possessed an Earth Elemental this would help right the balance somewhat, but he hoped that it would be under their control as a battle between such seismic forces could quite easily bring these tunnels down on them.
Gatet was brought quickly back into focus with Banzos whispering and quickly scurried to the unexplored botany room.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Brocc moves into the new chamber as well, interested in the spider-like constructs, but also in the mechanics of this chamber itself. As long as the spider-constructs are not hostile, he would move around, investigating the chamber fully. Investigation: 6 Guidance: 4
Allowing his companions to enter first, and assuming the constructs don't attack, Zeltheris would move immediately toward the vault door, "I wonder what could be in here? Valuable seeds of rare plants? Powerful potions made from them? Who knows, but I want to."
"WOW! Just imagine the dedication and effort required to create such a place!"
Banzo will focus his attention on the spider constructs, trying to gauge if their only purpose is gardening or if they are meant as guardians also.
Investigation: 19
The spider constructs seem intent on their tasks but he suspects they are capable of defending themselves or their charges if necessary, though what they might interpret as trespass he is unsure....

Herman marvels "effort?! Maybe these spiders constructs are gardeners... Incredible nonetheless"
Garet and Herman immediately spot a number of plants among the beds that may cause some issues if their companions approach them.
The WHISTLE BUD plant is a flat creeper covering areas of ground and occasionally tree trunks. Its foliage is red, and it bears what appear to be dark red buds, which are in fact carnivorous appendages – “mouths” with small, sharp 'teeth' that cling to their victim. Several mouths attacking together can reduce even a large animal – or adventurer – to a torn, bloodless corpse within minutes. When they detect living movement close by, they emit a piercing high-pitched whistle at a very loud volume.
Thought to be related to the equally carnivorous Tangleweed and Whistle Bud , CRAB GRASS is a type of flesh-eating plant found in the more isolated parts of Titan. Unlike the blood-drinking Tangleweed however, Crab Grass attacks its prey (usually small mammals like rabbits and ground squirrels though it will happily tackle larger game) with hundreds of green pincer-like nippers, which form instantly on the end of its grass stalks as soon it is disturbed.

The constructs do not seem to react to the companions entry and continue with their tasks.
Brocc determines no other exits from the room, he suspects the crystals act as artificial sunlight and that each bed caters to plants from different biomes around and in the Moonstone Hills.

The Vault is locked and very secure but he does note a black grated section beside a large silver button. Below it is a small gold grille.
Garet keeping himself quite whilst the group made the investigation of the gardens, overheard Banzo ask about the plants, he was willing to offer council if required having come across them in his travels across Allansia, but kept quiet so the Herman could answer.
Garets attention was drawn however to the large silver button and tried to puzzle out what it do if pressed.
Banzo pays extra attention to the strange plants he was warned about. In fact he will keep a sharp eye on them expecting something to happen, and wanting to be ready to shout an alarum.
Perception: 23
"Just how dangerous are these plants Herman?"
Keeping his distance from them Banzo does fncy he occasionally sees a frond of the grasses moving by itself or a bud unfurling but they do nothing to harm him, indeed one of the spider-machines walks directly over a section of the darker grass as it tends to low bushes nearby.

Perception 19
Other than the metal grilles there seems to be little else that the button could operate.....unless it simply opens the vault door when pushed.
Banzo will join Brocc and any others near the vault. He will attempt to figure out if the button has anything to do with opening the vault, or how it might be possible to open the vault without a key.
Investigation: 10 + 4 = total.
"Why would a vault be needed in a garden? Are the shovels, hoes, and watering cans made of gold?"
(ooc: by examining where the hinges are, on the outside or inside, and whether there are scratches or markings of any kind on the floor in front of the vault... can we determine if it would open inward or outward?)
Investigation: 10
It seems to open inwards. There are no hinges to be seen.
"I'd say just push the button and see what happens." Brocc says with a shrug. "Anyone have a magehand available to do so with, or shall you all back up and I'll push it myself. At least only one of us is at the point of likely danger then."
"Everyone stand back, I'm going to try something."
Banzo will hold his action with the trigger that if anything dangerous happens he will duck inside his shell by using his shell defense feature... and with a free action he will push the button.

The grille sounded again, and Brocc translated for the others, " Who owns Pit-Breaker? Who is in charge of the Crucible? Who commands the Keep to the west? "
(OOC: I believe we know the first question's answer. Do we yet have the knowledge for the other two? If not Brocc would suggest pulling back and doing some research in the library, prior to trying the vault any further.)

Herman gestures to the others
"pay attention to those plants!"
Ooc: see spoiler above
Brocc makes his way around to the vault itself. He would help anyone as they investigate it, as well as using guidance on them as well.

Investigation: 23 Guideance: 2
Both determine that it is indeed a vault and that given its position on the door it is likely the button has something to do with its operation.

Garet waits anxiously shield ready as Banzo depresses the button.
Zeltheris pokes his head up from where he's ducked down behind one of the tables, "Yes, you should absolutely press the button."
Banzo depresses the button, for a moment nothing seems to happen then a strangely metal-edged voice issues forth in Dwarven from the larger grille.
" Welcome. To access the Legacy Vault please answer the standard questions in order. Do you require the questions to be stated?"
Brocc translates the request for Banzo.
And his response.
Garet confident that somewhere in his memory he can locate the answer to the first part racks his brains for answers to the other parts.
