Banzo peeks out into the hallway to make sure the way is clear before moving down the hallway, continuing deeper into the unexplored parts of the complex.

There is no sign of the demon, moving further along the corridor another 50m or so there are two more doors across from each other: Zoology and Medicine.

Brocc recasts detect magic as they prepare to enter the medicine room. "Plus, even if no one is hurt, maybe we can find some extra medical supplies. Those are never bad to have around."

"I concur" Garet says "I  believe your logic is correct," nodding to both Brocc and Banzo "I believe it would be less of a potential threat that what may be behind the Zoology door."

Though Garet is prepared to take no chances and readies his shield anyway.

The door is unlocked and the group is able to enter.    Within the floor, walls and ceiling were composed of white marble.  A number of adjustable metal chairs were arrayed about the room each accompanied by a small metal desk and chest of drawers.

Metal cabinets were set into the corners of the room and Brocc notes one of them is glowing softly and that one of the desks has a small glowing object upon it.

The far wall was lined with bookshelves stacked with various volumes.

There were also two metal tables accompanied by wheeled trolleys against the eastern wall.

Most of the books Banzo looks through appear to be, judging from the illustrations, anatomy books dedicated to different species of humanoid and other volumes detailing various diseases and parasites.

Brocc first checks out the magical glow from the desk, then he would move to the magical glow from the cabinet. He would first verify what is magical, then, letting detect magic go, cast identify on each of the things he saw glowing.

Putting each of the books back where he takes them from, Banzo tries to reason out if they were used to cure such ailments, or inflict them upon others.

"Be ready everyone, it's only a matter of time before the crystal demon happens upon us in it's searching."

 Though unable to read the words Banzo believes that they are instructions for healing rather than harm.

On the desk Brocc finds a shining black scalpel of obsidian ( https://www.dndbeyond.com/magic-items/15021-dagger-of-healing ).

Within the cabinet he locates a large number of linaments, poultices and ungeants as well as  six crystal flasks of golden liquid ( https://www.dndbeyond.com/magic-items/potion-of-healing  - Common )

"Well these will come in handy..." Brocc says, grabbing the six flasks and the blade. He holds the flasks up first. "These are healing potions, drink them and you will be healed of some of your injuries." He hands them out among the group, taking only one for himself. The blade he holds a bit more respectfully. "This is an impressive bit of magic." He tells the others with clear appreciation in his tone. "It is a blade of healing. You hit someone with it, but, instead of causing harm, it heals them of harm." he shrugs. "I cannot use it though, it can only be used by a wizard, rogue, paladin, or cleric..." He offers it to the group to see who wishes the item.

Zeltheris pockets the potion and looks at the dagger, "I could certainly make use of it, but I can't actually use it either."

Garet accepts the healing potion, nods with thanks to Brocc, his eyes fall on the blade. "I know that I could make use of the blade and would wield it unless our Wizard friend would prefer to wield it." Garet looks towards Banzo, meanwhile the Barons voice screams at him in his head you require no other weapon.

"Whilst we are on the subject of magical items. I still carry the shield from the Armoury but I know not yet what it does. I feel that our battle with the Demon is close to hand, I feel that it would be good to know its capabilities, if we have time."

"Give me the shield for a moment." Brocc says, moving to the shield and taking it. He takes a few minutes to identify the shield.

Brocc fills int he group on the properties of the shield.

( You can use the shield as if proficient. Your magic...its magic...wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey )

Garet listens to the explanation of the shields power, feeling glad that he had taken it but not sure that he would make best use of its arcane powers and with the new dagger and Garets preference for two weapon fighting, he feel sure somebody else would make best use of it.

Zeltheris shrugs, "I can't use it, and its better if someone does."

"Fine by me." Brocc says with a shrug, handing the shield over.
