Tannin raises an eyebrow as he pays for the meal. "Perhaps the use of greed, to expand his influence. I would be wary of these coins, they are probably magic, tainted by the dark-one himself." (how much do I owe the Moonstone Inn?) he trots along with the group.
( Now that your part of the Heroes of Chalice Moose doesn't charge you anything.)
"I also heard that Zagor has minions working for him, everything from various peoples to strange beasts, and something referred to as Hashak spawn."
Banzo looks around to see the reactions of the group.
"Does anyone know anything about these Hashak spawn?"

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."

"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Your all aware that Hashak is the God who created Trolls, Orcs, Goblins and their varied relatives....Hashak Spawn is a fairly derogatory term for them ( mostly used by humans) and will almost certainly lead to bar fights in the company of Half-Orcs, Man-Orcs, Gremlins, Trolls etc.
Garet thought back to his time onboard ship and one of the mates a half-orc by the name of Grimlock.
One day when they were boarding a merchant ship one of the mercenaries on the ship threw a threw a throwing dagger towards him. The mercenaries aim was straight and true and would have pierced his heart save for a medallion he was wearing. The only thing he had from his father.
The medallion was a depiction of Hashak, and Grimlock from that day on never stopped going on how the father of orcs had a special eye on him and how he was going to do great things. He was later killed in a bar room brawl in Blacksand, but not before Garet had researched via a holy man about Hashak.
"He's the creator of Trolls, Orcs and Goblins, a God like fair Libra or mighty Titan, so Hashak scum refers to all of his Children, those tainted with Chaos."
The companions walked across the Pagan Plains east of Anvil headed towards Firetop, they had been able to secure climbing supplies and rations from Mooses cousin though the portly man said there were supposed to be ways into the mountain near the base.
Shortly before dusk the companions feel strange vibrations in the ground beneath them, pulsing for several seconds then ceasing before beginning again...they appear to be increasing in intensity....
While they walked, Tzedaka kept wandering/ running to different things she saw on the path. She saw a flower and tried to eat it. She picked up a small shiny stone and put it in her bag. She saw a tree and hugged it. She was indeed, a very curious and peculiar woman, with both the mannerisms of a child and one much older than she looked. Through the day, she spent time with each of the companions, and would hold their hand. Always, they would feel confident and sure of their mission when she touched them. She seemed extremely happy the as the day went by.
"Does anyone else feel that? Could it be a small earthquake?"
Banzo stops walking and calls to the others.
"Stop! Everyone stop and just wait a minute or two. If it is a quake it should pass in a moment."

Tzedaka doen’t seem to notice. She is looking at some rocks again. “shaker is angry. De Cheroes that hurt her pet are getting closer!” She says to herself, then spits.
"Excuse me for a second, while I take a look around us." the group sees Tannin unfurl his wings and then a woosh and the group feels the wind as he flies 30ft up to see what he can see. Hovering, staying within range of his mental ability.

The tremors seem to be growing more intense and the space between vibration pulses is getting shorter...
Tannin can see nothing more from above.....though he notes the tremors must be very localised as clumps of shrubs in the middle distance are not shaking.
Banzo will use his Ring of the Grammarian to cast Slow changing the last letter to a 'P' and center the 40 foot area of effect on the center of the quakes. He hopes that by turning the solid ground into a pool of liquidy slop any creatures with a burrowing speed will be trapped.

She then touches Banzo, "I vil halp you Banzo, defeater of de Devourer."
Guidance:( You touch one willing creature. Once before the spell ends, the target can roll a d4 and add the number rolled to one ability check of its choice. It can roll the die before or after making the ability check. The spell then ends.)

Banzo also moves out of the tremor zone turning the packed earth there into a goopy morass....
Tzedaka will use guidance and perception to see if she can sense anything under her

With their movement slowed by Banzos spell Tzedaka is able to pinpoint seven writhing serpentine forms emerging from the earth, the Tremor-Worms of the Pagan Plains are temporarily exposed as their bristled bodies have difficulty finding purchase in the mud.
( Tremor Worms Initiative- 10. Banzos spell and your companions perceptive abilities has bought you all a surprise round and advantage on all attacks for that round.)
( Roll Initiative. Post actions for Suprise Round then post actions for Round 1 if Initiative is above 10.)

Attack: 13 Damage: 7 cold damage and speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of my next turn.

Reminder for myself. Work together or fail apart. Talk with each other when necessary. Describe how, where, if, your character moved.

Tannin broadcasts to everyone "I think something's underground! The shrubs aren't moving further away!"
He readies an eldritch blast just incase.

Garet having flashbacks to the rock demon draws his weapons ignites his blade and tries to get himself out of the area of the quake.
Tzedaka sensing potential trouble will also move with Garet.
