Hatch wasn't exactly surprised to see his hunch was right, albeit he was surprised to learn some skeletons could fall asleep. Live and learn, or unlive and learn too he guessed.
"We're interested in getting a wand fixed," he said, urging Brocc over to show the wand. "And maybe get an item identified too," he said, referring to the ring.

It then took the wand, " Oh.....dear.....this is very badly damaged....I believe it can be repaired.....the crystal within is cracked though so that will need replacing...and the willow is...hmmm, leave it with me for a few days and I should be able to coax it back into shape....it will be about 250 gold for supplies and enchanting. I doubt we'll be able to restore more than one charge a day to it though....its very old and has been very badly treated.", it tutted to itself.
" Anything else I can assist with? Oh, sorry....manners....I am Liam Obern, former journeyman wizard of the Chalice Tower of Magecraft."
Rufus nods to his peers, "I will gladly share in the cost of repairing the wand. You never know when we'll have a dungeon fall on our heads again, lads. Could be a handy thing to have about."
After the adventure the party has just completed, seeing an animated skeleton doesn't really phase Thom. That being said, the skeleton seemed to be more geared towards magic, of which at this point he wasn't interested, so doesn't speak to much to the animated bones.
"Greetings, Liam, it is a pleasure to meet you! Might you be able to help us find Madam Girior?"
Tom also would be happy to pay for as much of the repair to the wand as he can. He's got around 100 gp left.
Agreed." Brocc confirms. He would pay his share of the cost of the repair as well. After that is done he would hold up the ring. "Anyone have a burning desire for this?" He asks.
Rufus nods towards Brocc and says, "If no one else desires it, I'd like it. I can exchange my share of the gold for it to be fair. You can split the gold amongst yourselves. Seem fair, lads?" Rufus stands there awaiting the rest of the party's response.
"Depends, what does a Ring of Warmth do? Can't rightly say if I do or don't want it if I don't know what it does," Hatch said. "As for the wand, I suppose we're in agreement to split the cost evenly among ourselves?"
"Well lads - I've heard of this ring before, back home! I am happy for Rufus to wear it. Keep ye' warm my good man!"
While wearing this ring, you have resistance to cold damage. In addition, you and everything you wear and carry are unharmed by temperatures as low as -50 degrees Fahrenheit.
"Very well." Brocc says. "I would be happy for you to have the ring." He would nod to the others then. "Have you managed to find the one you were off to find yet?"

"250 split amongst us 5 (there is still 5 of us is right?) is 50 a piece, and I won't hear another word of someone spending more," Hatch said, taking 50 of his coins out and making sure the others did the same and no more.
"I'll admit I'm not one who appreciates being cold, but I agree to Rufus keeping the ring. I'd rather just avoid the cold and ice throwing magic users altogether," he continued, while holding his hand up in the 'no thanks' position at Rufus' offer of gold.

"Yes, I have this wand..." Brocc says, pulling out the wand and showing it to the skeleton. "I was hoping that I might find someone who can fix it."
The bony fingers took the ring first and examined it, bony jaws muttering a dweomer.
" Ah! Very nice....this is a Ring of Warmth....."

"Hmmmm... lemme take a look at that ring lads! Hmmmm..... Ring of warming.... ring of warming..."
Arcana to determine if Tom knows about the ring of warming and what it does. (if I can look at the stats on it or not basically!) 7
OOC: 12 is enough. Assume Tom tells the others.

While wearing this ring, you have resistance to cold damage. In addition, you and everything you wear and carry are unharmed by temperatures as low as -50 degrees Fahrenheit.
"Yep splitting the cost for the wand sounds dandy to me fella's. Hell I'll throw in 100 gold I honestly could care less about these here coins."
Tom will pay 100 gp of the price. Coins removed from character sheet.
"Very well." Brocc says. "I would be happy for you to have the ring." He would nod to the others then. "Have you managed to find the one you were off to find yet?"
Liam looks up, " You were after something else?"
Tom had asked the skelly about Madam Girior as well!
"Might you be able to help us find Madam Girior?"
Rufus accepts the ring from Brocc and exchanges 170 gold pieces to split amongst the other four party members.
"250 split amongst us 5 (there is still 5 of us is right?) is 50 a piece, and I won't hear another word of someone spending more," Hatch said, taking 50 of his coins out and making sure the others did the same and no more.

" Oh, yes. Sorry.....memories kind of shot with the lack of....well..."
"She's upstairs, they were up late last night. Just head up, we don't stand on ceremony here..."
you think i could join?
Brocc thanks the skeleton, then heads up with the others.
