((ooc: maybe close the last door/portal we came through? moreover, is there anyone that has an alarm spell or something like it? maybe the cat if not following mice can just help?))
Damn, we are so close...fine, fine, let's rest, I want you all in great shape. If the gods say there is death behind the golden door, then it will be Zagor's
Garet grateful for Enwynns healing during the midst of combat is relieved to see the rest of the foes chopped down.
Given his wounds and his tired mental state he is much in favour of a long rest, and barely enough breath to contribute to the discussion instead choosing to sit in shadow and rebuild his strength.
He muses over Tzedakas words, he did not fear death for himself he had walked alongside death many times, but he had grown so close to the heroes of Chalice he wasn't sure how he would feel if one of their number fell.
The wand of Tiny Hut is used within the dwarven Hall of the Fallen and everyone settles in within the shelter for the 'night'.
Banzos Familiar patrols the room and other than occasional rodents and insects nothing bothers them during the rest.
Those on watch do note that a few hours in the squad of skeletons noted earlier marches up to the entrance of the tomb but does not enter before turning on the spot and marching back the way they came. Libb is intrigued by the magical shelter but soon falls asleep.
Nothing ventures through the golden door as far as they can determine.
( Everyone gets a Long Rest............and a Level Up!)
(After a long-deserved rest, as the party wakes up, you see Tzedaka, lost in prayer inside the safety of the tiny hut. Her eyes are closed as she sits in a meditative lotus style. You have no idea how long she has been praying, but clearly, she has been at it for a while.)
Her presence is one of peace, calm, and tranquility and despite her "death" prophecy and the difficult task ahead, you feel her soothing energy fill the small magical hut.
She takes a deep breath, completely restored. Not only does she seem at complete peace, she seems to have gained in her power. Her presence protects confidence and hope. “come Gayroot, let us examine dee gold door”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Banzo will send Zeno, his black and white tuxedo pattern cat familiar, ahead to scout and share it's senses of sight, hearing, and Keen Smell (advan.) but not further ahead than 100 feet as I want to keep telepathic control over it's every action... by combining both effects, sharing senses and telepathic control, it feels like operating a drone of sorts, lol.
"I'm going to scout with Zeno can someone help guide me while I'm blind and deaf?"

— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”

(OOC: NO idea!! Maybe "Zagor", have we heard any passwords or hints of such?, Maybe Libb knows it? Something with elementals? Since near the Dwarf area, could have something to do with that, as Zagor repurposed the mountain, taking if from them. Also, password could be "Death", or "All are beneath Zagor" Anyone else)
Tzedaka holds up a hand, "Let me think for a moment, Banzo." She pulls out a book from her bag, "The Legend of Zagor" and looks to see if it has anything that could hint to a password, she thinks of the dwarves in the mountain before Zagor. She also considers her dreams, those they have encountered in the mountain for any hints of the password. (Wisdom check or...?)
( Lets grab a Wisdom Check.....though you are correct in thinking there are many options from Zagors history. Perhaps one of his lackeys mentioned or hinted at a password during your exploration of the mountain? )
(OOC: I"m thinking of the woman Elspeth that we let go outside, wondering if she told us anything, she did mention the name Thelestra ("Thelestra is Zagor's favorite"), not sure if we met Thelestra or not.......thinking of other hints).
(OOC: all set, and in great need of a long rest)

Garet shifted further into the shadow.

“come Gayroot, let us examine dee gold door”
Herman gets up and exhales deeply
oh, well, let's get to work
He activates his inner eye to see what' behind the veil (using the magic item or true sight)

Enwynn nods and says "I will keep watch for you, Banzo, while you watch with Zeno."
The companions advanced to the golden door . which is embossed with gold leaf with a huge letter 'Z' stands in relief on the door.
A solid handle sits on this side of the door and there is no visible lock or keyhole.
((OOC: mage hand anyone?))
Banzo will try the handle to see if it is locked or open?
Tzedaka utters a word in celestial and casts Guidance on Banzo.
When Banzo touches the handle a voice speaks from it.
" What is the password?"
Banzo snatches his hand back, turning slightly to glance behind him at the others, "Any ideas? Should we still enter?"
