Domalda rubs a finger across her chin, " Gold............a dwarfs weight per month. And a measure of meat not exceeding one wagon a month. And a tenth share of any gems found within the mountain. In exchange for the last we shall build a forge within a side alcove of your lair accessible at all times from without.....which you shall keep banked and operational for perpetuity."
Ardereinextinctus bristled and pulled himself up off the ground his massive head snaking toward Domalda, her eyes flickered toward the Heroes in panic.
"If I may add a small word of advice, mighty Ardereinextinctus, this may be a not so obvious compliment as they know you are not greedy but have the wisdom of ages as taking a lesser percentage of a bigger pile of gold will make you richer in the long run."
Banzo stands as tall and straight as he can with a quarter-ton shell on his back.
"When word of your generosity spreads many new trade routes will open up and the mountain will become a trading hub. And with all that increased trade the 25% will outweigh the 50%."

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
”it would indeed be in your best interests to settle dis contract as I can bind it for you as your witness. Trust me ven I say inviting dee otter clans will cause you both problems.”

Ardereinextinctus' head swung back towards Banzo and Tzedaka as they spoke, a low rumbling in his throat.........
All was silent for several minutes, then the drake chuckled, " Wise counsel indeed. I agree, dwarf."
The dragon spoke then with Domaldas voice, " Gold............a dwarfs weight per month. And a measure of meat not exceeding one wagon a month. And a tenth share of any gems found within the mountain. In exchange for the last we shall build a forge within a side alcove of your lair accessible at all times from without.....which you shall keep banked and operational for perpetuity."
Its voice became its own again, " This I agree too.......even dragons as fierce as I do not argue with the Gods."
" Though.....if you wish to on occasion add a little extra to the tithe it will not be unappreciated."
" I hunger now and dwarves taste of chalk and grit, I will hunt one of the thunder beasts.....seal the bargain, Daughter of Libra."
As Enwynn silently watches for trouble and listens for truth, hunting for a solution in an almost invisible to the eye sliver of hope, somehow that tiny possibility grows larger than even a dragon's heart.
It is all she can do not to laugh in sheer delight at the unexpected joy of it all, as it strikes her that may not be the most diplomatic response to one of Sindala, Sister of Libra's most dazzling of smiles upon any mortal's desperate plea in hope.
Tzedaka reaches for the dwarves hand and dragons foot, pulling a dagger from her belt.
With a slice on each she touches the two together, their blood joining. “A servant of Libra has witnessed the agreement between Ardereinextinctus and Domaldas, who represents four dwarf clans assembled.”
she looks at them both and cuts her hand, her blood dripping g on both. “The agreement is just, fair and sealed this day.”
Ardereinextinctus tongue flickered out and caressed Domaldas cheek for a brief moment, " Chalky....."
" The pact is made.....I will not break it."
" Nor I.....", stammered Domalda trying to regain her stoic demeanour.
And then everyone....but Tzedaka....was knocked off their feet by the downdraught as the massive wyrm took to the sky and winged his way westward.......
Banzo's arms and legs flail about uselessly while his shell rocks back and forth as he is unable to right himself without assistance.
"Help! I've fallen and I can't get up!"

" I'll go explain things to the grumpy old men. Where are you bound for next?"

Ardereinextinctus guffawed, " Bargain? Interesting......you speak for all of Throffs Spawn in this place?"
The crimson drake regarded the flanking Heroes for a moment as it continued.
" What is offered?"

Tzedaka says loudly enough for each to hear. "Finally, we have two who can speak plainly to each other, how refreshing."
She sits down, curious to see how the conversation will unfold.
Tannin remains silent as he watches, not wanting to interfere with the angels prowess.

Ardereinextinctus chuckled, " Two dwarfs. Two wagons and 50%. And none shall enter my lair without permission on pain of death."

Domalda look visibly annoyed for a fraction of a moment then set her face as stone once more, " Two dwarfs weight. Two wagons....and 25%."

Do we get a save on that? IC: Tannin crouches low, wings out like a umbrella.
