Assuming they won't expedite their plans having found the bodies, the gnolls certainly are a more pressing concern. At the same time, there is no guarantee that the campers are in any way responsible for the murder..." He crosses his arms, pensive. "Do you still have some of that moldy cheese? I'm very intrigued by it."
"I'm willing to trade one of my fresh pieces for it!" He quickly adds.
I'll opt out of the History Check. This is the first time Invaih has ever head of the Feywild (meeting Iradari I mean), and being a drow doesn't help. TL;DR: Invaih is clueless regarding the feywild aside from what others tell/told him.
Dari gives him the rest of the cheese, and then begins tapping his foot impatiently. Then, drawing his spear he begins a little fight against an imaginary enemy.
Artin looks at the group and nods. "From what Boo told us, the campers are staying put for at least a few days. We need to think strategically about this. The gnolls pose a clear and immediate danger to the people here. We must put our individual passions aside- " Artin glances sympathetically at Dari, and lights a corncob pipe, "and think of what will help the people of Ambermoor. Let us go to the gnolls, address that problem, and then consider our options."
Finishing his piece of moldy cheese, Invaih cocks his head a bit, then nods appreciatively. "Quite a refined taste. This would be exquisite with some rothé and crackers." Then looking around him at the incredulous stares undoubtedly looking his way. "Well, shall we get going then?".
On your way to the gnoll camp, Dari comes running up behind you. He says that he realized that the men in the camp aren't acting until three days from now, and he'll accompany you to the gnolls. Arriving near the gnoll camp, you see three armored men huddled at the bottom of a small rise murmuring quietly. Att you approach, one of them looks up, smiles, and waves: "Why 'ello there! I assume you've come to deal with the gnolls. Me name's Andon Skullfang, these are all my men." He says, gesturing to the other four men near him. "I'm glad you all showed up, there's simply too many of them to deal with ourselves." Peeking over the rise, you see seven gnolls walking around, apparently standing guard. One of them appears to be the leader, standing at the back overlooking it all. The most suspicious thing you notice is two gnolls crouched on either side of an oversized gnoll, laying their hand on them and repeadedly chanting.

OOC: Am I correct in counting 10 Gnolls (7 guards including chief + 2 priest-like + 1 bloated)? Also, if there are woods/trees nearby I would go that way to flank instead. Let me know if I need to roll for stealth.
"One minute", says Artin. "We have a rare opportunity to prepare for the combat ahead. Let's take a minute to assess what we have at our command. Dari, what spells do you have prepared today?"
As he plots, he can't help but have his thoughts drift off to Boo, the closest he had ever had to a sister, he then brushes away those thoughts, instead thinking about his friends with him now.
Andon listens in on your strategic conversation, "It sounds like you know what you're doing. Me and my guys can go around behind and take 'em off guard. Then you guys can shoot your magic at them when they're all grouped up twoards us." He gestures for the four men to follow him, "Let's go." they respond with murmurs of assent. They move behind to one side of the gnolls, they all charge in yelling.
Andon's men move in a pack, targeting the closest two gnolls to them. One of them takes four crushing blows as two of the thugs bash him with with thier maces, twice each. He crumples to the ground, clearly dead. The other two target a different one, one of the men misses one strike, the other three hit. This one still stands.
Andon himself moves in apart from the rest, you notice he wields two spears, a different fighting style than you've seen before. He jabs two of the spears twoards a lone gnoll, dealing two deadly blows. The gnoll has taken two grevious blows but still lives.
TL;DR
The thugs target two gnolls, two of them killing one of them, the other two gravely wounding anothe one. Andon goes in alone mortally wounding anothe one.
