"What you are saying Daemyar, is that its a bad idea for her to return to her tribe without killing the hobgoblins, yes? Course she can lure goblins out for her to turn them for her way of thought. As we go.."
“I’m saying the hobs wont let her in. We saw one at the entryway last time. They will be waiting again. And if they see her, alone they will kill her. They know we’re out here, and she’s been captured. If she’s suddenly free, it’s not hard to follow the thread to discern what happened.”
Ithelion grunts, and looks at Daemyar, "So you don't think that her fleeing, with us in pursuit and a tale of escape would not cut it? Well..."
She turns to the goblin, "And you say the warriors like the hobgoblins, so the only ones you can possibly convince to change sides are the non-warriors. Hmmm.
"Would I be correct in saying that these non-warriors would not likely change sides while the hobgoblins live or are near?"
She thinks for a moment longer, "If so...then really, we are best keeping you safe to prevent bloodshed after the hobgoblins are dead...is that where we are at?"
"Perhaps you can tell us how many warriors, how many non-warriors, and what the rooms look like on this map?"

Sharpie just looks at you blankly. She's clearly not used to talking this much. "Um, uh, don't know? You sure you're adventurers? Don't know how many you kill, they kill." She shows 10 fingers and does it ia few times, "Maybe no fighters this many?" She sighs in exasperation. "Don't know."
"Ok" Shere's tail moves snake like irritated with all the complications this group presents. He says in common
"It appearrs we can't let Sharpie go without our prrotection. We have our friend Meepo here if he would pretend to be her prisoner no chains or anything. Just voice acting to lure the goblins out that would be behind the first 3ft wall. Convince or kill them."
If Sharpie doesn't understand he'll repeat in goblinoid

While the discussion continues, Ithelion looks at the map and then Sharpie. Let's try this another way.
She points at the second barricade on the map, "There's a door after the barricade, where does it lead?"
She listens to the answer, then questions her about the other doors in that room.
(( The intent is to get a description of rooms, who's in them, what doors they have, then rinse and repeat...might take a while ))
"Go up, it a guard room and trophy room. Go this way," points west, "and it go to smoky hall, then goblin town and Durnn king place. After that, it go to darker place..." She shivers. "I only be there one time and not again, ever."
[DM point - she can't know who's in them and that's about all you're going to glean from her]
(( No problem re info, but Ithelion would definitely ask one more question since Meepo is nearby ))
Ithelion nods, "Thank you. And the dragon, where is that kept?"
When she has made notes on all the answers, the stands, "So are we agreed? We move forward as before, keeping Sharpie out of sight, and then...enlist her aid when we encounter less aggressive goblins?"
(( No problem re info, but Ithelion would definitely ask one more question since Meepo is nearby ))

"I already say, probably north of prison room, maybe trophy room. But I not home for long time, I don't know."

You and the ragtag crew march in your preferred order - at a normal pace, no stealthing - up towards the cells and then take the left you remember through the wooden door. You past the first "S" and stop at the barricade. You don't hear anything coming from beyond. If you need to do any "team-meeting or planning" type stuff, now would be the best time to do it as it doesn't seem the goblins have moved from their position to re-defend this barricade. Meepo and Sharpie are behind you.
Shere whispers to Ithelion "Maybe those caltrops will work well if you can spread them out around the goblins in the next area's behind the 3foot wall. Can you get your servant to do it or are you still using your other spell?"
Ithelion shakes her head, "My servant would likely die the before it reached them and, when I laid them out before, it was to cover our retreat. Laying them ahead of us is as likely to inconvenience us as it is them. I would prefer to lay them out again to cover our retreat."
"I don't think we have much choice but to approach boldly. Though someone who is naturally stealthy should perhaps lead the way. It seems likely that they will have surprises for us."
@daemyar - you quietly creep up to the corner where Ithelion had previously stopped to take a look. You peek around the corner and see the barricade. You also see and hear some chatter in goblin, as well as some movement here and there. It's clear the goblins are trying to hide and be quiet but not succeeding at all. Further back, near the wall to the north there is a door. A lanky, drooping figure stands there with a wicked looking spear and a sling at its waist. Daemyar, you recognize this drooping lanky figure as one of the hobgoblins from your vision; one of the beasts who sold out your tribe to a rival; one who is responsible for the destruction of your family...it is all you can do to keep it together. They don't see you, your shadow skill is perfectly undetectable.
There are a couple of makeshift cages in the hall that are knocked over. You would guess these are for poorly treated rats that the goblins breed. You also notice that several small rocks dot the hallway. However, upon closer examination they are not rocks. They are kobold heads, some more fresh than others. They trail blood behind them where they have rolled to a stop. There is a wooden door across the hall from you (closed). There is another door - opened slightly - behind the hobgoblin to the north. There is another unopened wooden door the north west. The door that is close to you, across the hall (on the western side) - you hear some moaning and light yips coming from behind that door. MAP

I told him to stay away. Really shouldn't have come with us. She looks at Meepo, her expression sad, "How do you feel about being Shere's prisoner?"
