Ithelion looks a little surprised and takes the cloak, "Thank you" she says, with a slight bow.
She runs it through her hands, admiring the workmanship of her people and the time that went into creating it. Reluctantly, she turns to Shere, "Believe me when I say that I would proudly wear this cloak. But I have noticed a certain...subtlety...to your movements; just now, and back before we met Grenl."
She holds it up to her nose, expecting the scent of woodlands and nature, but immediately recoils. Gods what does he keep in his pack? She spends a few moments doing her best to clean the cloak, then offers it to Shere. "As I was saying...while I would proudly wear this, I think its maker would prefer it in your hands where it might shine."
She remains in stealth (trying to be unseen/unheard) and sees Daemyar moving off. She turns to Shere, "Can you ask Daemyar not to go too far, until the others are here. Krom is likely to do his usual" she whispers.
@garnet - you examine one of the holes. The inside of it is blackened and charred, the tell-tale sign of a fire snake. Judging by the amount of holes, you surmise that a good number of these creatures used to live in the rift. Used to is the operative term, as there is no sign of anything active in your vicinity. @daemyar - you follow the hallway as it snakes around (pun not intended) and see a larger room ahead...wait or go into it?

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Krom can be seen munching on a wedge of smoked dwarven cheese that he kept rolled up in the cloak. Once he is done with his snack, Krom will try to make his way across, more trying to not fall into any holes than anything.
Stealth: 3 just to see if he can be quiet too. Nope, not at all.

You don’t manage to fall in any holes but your armor scrapes and grinds against some rocks. Nothing dangerous pops out though. You’re all on the other side now...
"Though I'm thankful for the cloak, maybe someone should learn a silence spell and cast it on Krom when its, critical" Shere quietly says to Ithelion with a chuckle, as he follows. Wondering why the dwarf gave up the thing the dwarf needs the most.
Okay, moving forward, you come to a large chamber. Standing at the broken stone door, you view the inside of the room: Faded mosaic tiles still decorate parts of the wall, but most have fallen to the dust-covered floor and shattered. Situated around the chamber are slim pedestals of rusted iron shaped like upright dragons. In the dragon mouths rests empty trays. The dragons' eyes seem to shine darkly in your vision.
This chamber is completely cloaked in darkness, the smell of dampness and rotting vegetation and animal feces and urine aggressively assaulting your noses...It does not look like a library at all...Perhaps treasures were once stored here on the myriad trays but nothing seems to be resting on them now, save a thick layer of dust...
Ithelion's hopes rise briefly, thinking that the stands might hold books, but the realization dawns on her that it served another purpose, and the general state of the room suggests any books would have rotted away by now.
She waits at the entrance, trying to remain under cover, waiting and watching for a signal from Daemyar.
When Daemyar signals, Ithelion again looks dubiously at the holes, then she to tries to cross quietly.
Stealth: 22

Krom looks wearily at the path everyone seems to be taking, "There ain't no way I'm crossin' that without making noise."
Be excellent to each other, and roll for initiative dudes!
Ithelion shakes her head at the dwarf, "Still not wearing that cloak then? There's two of us here that could us it."
Krom holds out the cloak, "Here."

Garnet whispers to anyone nearby “Hole of a fire snake, but no one home.” She stays back from Daemyar and as quiet as she can be.

Garnet waits too for a signal, not wanting to enter quite yet. She peers around the gloom looking for any sign of movement.
