****UPDATE**** Krom's attack does hit! D9is flung backwards into the wall, neck snapping loudly. Its body, too, erupts into blinding light. D9 is dead!
Daemyar tries to stab the darkling d8 despite his blindness, igniting the dagger’s flaming properties

Blinking his eyes, Daemyar is able to connect on a wild slash with Ixen'Oth, slicing a gash just below D8's chin and opening up a torrent of blood and light - D8 is dead! Knowing what is about to happen, the hobgoblin flinches away from the growing light...
Garnet and Daemyar - both roll a CON save please - DC10 - or be blinded until the end of your next turn.
Seeing the last bright flash from the room to the south of her, Ithelion breathes a sigh of relief. She was beginning to feel exposed out in the corridor. She moves to get a clear shot and launches another arrow, this time targeting D10 as she moves to the room in which Garnet and Daemyar have been fighting.
"Well done" she says. "There's still two out there, in the web, but free for now. Krom might need a hand." I doubt it it. He seems to weather most storms.

Ithelion nods at Daemyar's remark, "I can't see them out there; I'll get Elosa to watch the way we came."

She continues to look and listen through Elosa's eyes and ears, and asks her to do a quick circuit of the room, avoiding the mushrooms etc, flying away from them and as high as she can, and listen near the stairs up, and near the exit to the crevice. When she is done...(see below)

With that she dismisses and re-summons Elosa, and asks her to watch and listen from inside the southeast room at N13. Her task is to alert them of any approach, noise or light from that direction.
Satisfied that they should be warned of any attempts to flank them, Ithelion joins the investigation, offering assistance to Garnet, and trying to get a quick understanding of what has been going on.

Shere. This door wasn't wedged as you only chose three to block. As you listen near this door, no sounds can be heard. The door is already half open. If you look inside, you see an empty store room with some useful items scattered around the room.
Garnet moves to the room with the mouse to investigate it, to L9. She keeps her eye out for any hidden darklings.

Garnet you make your way cautiously into the room. It reeks of feces and fear, and that familiar, coppery scent of blood. The giant rat lies spread eagle on the blood- and sweat-soaked table, panting rapidly in fear but unable to move. Vines connect from the giant rat in several places to a large cutaway barrel filled with a liquid of some sort. The rat suffers from horrible tumors that look woody and fruit-like. It looks like some experimentation is being done here. Roll a medicine check for me. On a stand in the corner is a fancy crystal vial filled with a liquid that looks similar to that in the barrel....
