Krom stands at the entrance to the hallway where they fought the darklings, "Why don't we just be using one of these rooms? One of 'em is bound to be in less of a mess, and they only got one way in to 'em."

"I'm fine with that, as long as it is large enough.. and it doesn't stink." Garnet follows behind Daemyar and Shere, looking for a spot to hunker down and rest.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
“Friend Krom… We trust your judgement. I am… like a hand. Groping in darkness. You are like blood. You are victory. Tell me which way to victory, and I will follow.”
Once finished Shere nods to Daemyar's comment "Yes, I've heard dwarrves have great senses underrground and stoneworrk, even whetherr a passageway leads up or down . What do you say?"
Garnet kneels down beside Krom, "I'm sorry if we can't stay here long, it doesn't seem safe yet. We must press on unfortunately. I wanted to thank you for healing me back there. I can return the favor if you are in dire need. Maybe we can get some sleep soon if we can find our way through here.."

Krom gives a heavy sigh, "I ain't nothin' like blood or whatever. I'm only here to find a way to get my folks better, but that ain't happin' in this place. I guess I'm only here now to keep you lot from dyin'. Bah, all that underground stuff ain't true, unless its about places we've made and spend time in. Best I can do is tell ye the origin of the stonework, maybe." He gets up and brushes the dirt and dust off his gear before throwing his pack over his shoulders, "If ye want a safe place to sleep, best to head back to Oakhurst or shack up with them kobolds. Every move forward just invites more fights and gets us closer to that cursed tree."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
((OOC: Don't really need it, but I'll use it to see if I can get those last 2 hit points to be back to full. 4, from Shere's song of rest.))
Krom runs his hand along the wall and shakes his head, "Ney lad, this was built by Elves and it is only holdin' up 'cause of some magic they put into the place. Otherwise, more of this place would be a heap of rubble."

Your short rest passes without incident. Standing at the entrance of the little gardening room you took your rest in, to your right, and a bit south, is a similar stone door to the one the room you fought the last goblins in, had. To your immediate left is the door to the corridor you checked out earlier, before you rested. It is another long corridor with a stone door halfway up on the right side and another door - also stone - to the north.
"Lets head back, no? Beforre the florra gets personal"
Shere turns to head back

That room the door was open. It’s a wooden door and looking in there are some tools, like gardening and farming tools.

“Good enough.” dDaemyar says that, but goes through the trouble to examine the place thoroughly before standing the first watch.
(I think we need a long rest, yeah? Not a short?)
Paladin - warforged - orange
(( Short is good enough for Ithelion ))
Garnet sits down and rests, focusing her mind and relaxing her muscles. ((Short rest processed. Hit die : 12))

(( Ithelion 2 HD: 11 ))
After a brief rest she seems much recovered, the only signs of her recent injuries being the small but clean small holes in her clothing.
Krom hunkers down by the door and meditates in prayer, trying not to grumble about his companions too much. ((1 Hit dice: 10))
