Ithelion asks Daemyar if he is willing to proceed to the library, and if so, signals the others to come forward while Daemyar continues to scout with Elosa. Otherwise, she signals the others, and suggests they all go forward.
This is hobgoblin crush talk. Pretty soon, you’ll be hearing about he really admired the way you crush your enemies. You aren’t sure Daemyar has even realized he’s flirting.
Had to play up that extra charisma factor somehow. He’s already been a big fan. Lol
Haha love it, though the charisma thing only applies to Ithelion. Daemyar: bloodthirsty hobgoblin seducer, that hob saving face feature will really come in handy in the bedroom! Lol.
(Oh that’s what I mean. If ithelion’s got the extra charisma, she’s drawn Daemyar’s attention more than usual? Is there a way that doesn’t sound creepy? Ah well, he’s a hobgoblin.)
Ithelion pauses, a look of confusion crossing her face very briefly. He's just a child. They all are, even the dwarf. Gods, I was warned about this.
She takes a deep breath and nods, "As I have been saying since we met: You should trust yourself more. You have left your past behind, and now, the path into the future is yours to choose."
She laughs. "Both literally and figuratively:You may trust my eyes, but I trust your judgement in matters of stealth, combat, and exploration."
Looking up the corridor, then back at all of her companions, she wonders how much farther they have to travel together. This could get awkward. Then she turns back to look speculatively to Daemyar, wishing she had read more about Hobgoblin culture, and wondering...
When they reach the door, Ithelion stands back and Elosa resumes her place on Daemyar's shoulder, listening and watching. Ithelion extends her sense of magic through the door, and up the corridor as far as it will go...
[ugh. familiars]. [your advantage in stealth comes if you want to hide - I assume you want to use it to quietly open the door; hiding is irrelevant at this point if you don't open the door quietly]
You are able to open the door quietly without a sound, and peeking into the room, you notice that it's very dark, and a layer of soil covers the floor. Rough wooden shelves, filled with a scattering of tomes and scrolls, line the north and east walls, and a rough-hewn desk stands in the center of the chamber. Fungus on the ceiling provides light, apparently in sufficient quantity to nourish several small bushes and pale saplings that grow in the soil. Nothing magical can be seen but that doesn't mean anything to you and it doesn't mean there isn't - you can't tell.
"So...I THINK we are all near the door at this stage, and Elosa is on Daemyar's shoulder; can we see the size of the room, and if it has other exits?"
The description is above, no other exits. Ithelion notices several magical auras around the room, they seem to be on scrolls and one of them is on a fat book. Room is about 20 feet wide by 40 feet long.
Ithelion speaks quietly to the others, "I would like to investigate that room; there is a book, and several scrolls, that may be useful. No obvious other ways out, but there may be..."
She looks at Daemyar for a moment to see if he moves forward, and if not, she sends Elosa into the room to scout.
Other than the scrolls, there are a lot of books, something that probably makes Ithelion giddy! It looks like this could be Belak's personal study. Ithelion, your detect magic is weakening and eventually ends. Before it does you remember seeing several scrolls that gave off magic auras and the fat book/tome on one of the tables as well. You could definitely spend a bit of time in this room, if you choose to.
All, would you like to investigate this room? If so, roll an investigation check and add whatever your arcana is to the total as well. Ithelion, since you know the general areas where the auras were, you can roll with advantage.
Shere nods and watches he follows when the group moves, a barely audible purr though he only goes for his own kind he continues to send the messages for the elf

Daemyar nods and follows along until Ithelion indicates for Daemyar to do anything different.

(( I think this means Daemyar would prefer to move as a group...so I guess we all move up to the library door? ))
“I trust your eyes to see as much - or more- than mine.“
Can I call for someone else to insight check Daemyar?

Garnet waits to be signaled to move forward, standing in the hall, from time to time checking behind them.
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
