Ithelion considers for a moment, "I thought I saw several approaching. We'd be better off retreating to a more defensible location, but I doubt we have time."
Krom scratches his beard, “The closest defendable spot would just be back up the hallway. Put them squishy ones in the back and the more armored in the front.”

As you retreat into the darkness, your feet don't seem to disturb the dust and dirt on the floor. Even Krom is silent as you make your way back up the long corridor, past the library/study door that contains the freshly murdered bodies of the goblins. You all get about 30 feet past that door, when you hear a scraping sound on the door where you first ambushed and surprised the goblins. The scratching continues and you hear a couple of thumps, almost like a pattern. After a moment of silence, the door is thrown open, the sound of it hitting the stone wall is heard in the still darkness, but muffled somewhat by the stone walls. You hear hissing sounds but nothing presents itself to you...
Ithelion nods back the way they came.
@DM: I'm not sure how far back to the last door before these rooms. @All: That would seem to be more defensible, if we can reach it.
It’s very long way. 100 feet or more. You could go there, sure

Shere whispers to Garnet. "We may need your magic Senora so we can get to the tree unnoticed"

Garnet huddles up with the others and whispers in low tones quickly "I can make us more stealthy, if we wish to sneak by to the tree. Should I?"
