"Time is something my spell requires," Nenne reminds the group. "If you wish for clairvoyance, we will pay for it in delay. Or we can take our chances and enter, knowing we may encounter resistance. Thanks to Eku, we are better equipped to face it."
"This will not come as a surprise but I say we get in as fast as possible. Save the spell in case we need to spy on Ras Nsi later. What do the others think?"
“Let me go a little way inside. If it’s clear I’ll come back for you and we head inside as a group. The longer we wait out here the more chance there is we get caught.”
"I agree with you," says Nenne. Her magenta undertones are still present, though she seems more subdued in her anger, now. "I will stay in the back as quietly as I can. We may never have another opportunity like this - to strike while they are still recovering and we are fresh."
Boosey steps into the damp cave. Water seeps through the side walls, running down into the bottom of the tunnel. Puddles cover the floor here and there as the bard makes his way through the place. Eventually, the tunnel opens up allowing him see more...
He returns to the group a look of concern on his face. “It could be better, but it could be worse. I saw only one of those monstrous beasts, but where there is one there is sure to be more. There is an underground lake, and” he gives a significant look, “a small boat. At least I think it was. The snake may just be guarding it! We should go now. I’ll give our two fighters a boost too.” With that he clasps first Alynoa’s shoulder, then Allister’s giving them enhance ability
"We should assume they know we are here and have hidden numbers," the cleric says, tightening one of her gauntlets. "Let us do this swiftly and get our druid back." She taps her holy symbol and a faint glimmer of red sparkles around her hand before disappearing. (ooc: Guidance on herself)
„Does anybody have a spell that can immobilize the yuan-ti? Even there are not more around, he will make sure to get help or make enough noise to get his friendsˋ attention.“
“we may be better sneaking up on them. It’s a little way down and too far for us all to rush it. I might be able to immobilise it, but” he shrugs, “ it would mean dropping your buff”
„We nned to kill or subdue him quickly. We sneak up on him and try to pin him down, if he escapes you stop him. Unless Nenne wants to try her spell first.“Allister nods to Nenne. „You want to give it a shot? How close do you have to be?“
Nenne follows behind the group at a slight distance, trying to be as quiet as possible. When the tunnel curves and the target is ahead, she slips forward quietly (Stealth 15) to survey the area. Then she turns to the others and whispers, "I can attempt my spell, but it will alert them to our presence. We will be in an immediate fight, and I may not be able to release my spell in time. Do you want me to try?"
Boosey nods his head and whispers back. "It's worth the risk. One way or another we have to make the first move, this could buy us some time. We'll have to attack it one way or another!"
Nenne leans out from behind cover, raises her hand toward the snakelike figure, and whispers, "Pay us no mind." (Calm Emotions, centered on the boat behind the target. DC 14 CHA)
The creature immediately visible turns and hisses, racing towards Nenne immediately. A sexond creature becomes visible from just around the corner as it peers its head around to see what the commotion is.
Nenne sighs in frustration and fires off a Guiding Bolt at the creature in front of her, which goes wide, then darts down the tunnel back toward her friends. "Two incoming!" she warns them through gritted teeth.

“Well,” says the gnome quietly. “It seems we have found the entrance we were looking for. Time is of the essence, the entrance looks well used”.

"I cannot immobilize him, but I might be able to make him indifferent toward us. That is, if he is more person than monster..."
Allister asks Boosey „How far from the entrance to the yuan-ti? Do we have to rush him or sneak up to him?“

"I can, if you like. I do not need to be too close. 60 feet away and hidden should suffice."
„Ok, let’s try it.“ Allister checks his weapon once more, makes sure the healing potion is safely in his pouch and starts towards the entrance
