Boosey nods and makes a "kind of" motion with his hand. He then makes a snarling face with outstretched hands, and makes the up and down cutting motion with his hand again.
Boosey writes "Passage not is blocked by a grate in the shape of a snarling Minotaur 30-40 feet in. Don't know if it can be opened or not, only looked from a distance."
“Maybe we should take another look. I don’t want to push anyone. We’re pretty battered, and this tunnel might be too narrow for me to do anything. But I can give it a try.“ As nobody is objecting Allister gets into the tiny tunnel with a rope around his waist
Nenne holds the other end of the rope and watches the fighter as he crawls into the tunnel, her jaw clenched as visions of Vombec's demise replay in her mind.
„The eyes of the minotaur are missing. This gate can probably be lifted. Give me a minute.“ The party hears Allister grunting as he tries to push the grate up. A loud scream and the sound of metal hitting stone announce his success. „There’s a longer tunnel after the grate, and I think I see the corner of a room. You guys wanna come?“
Nenne's heart nearly stops when she hears Allister scream, and the breath she releases at his subsequent invitation is somewhere between a laugh and a sob. Motioning to the group, she crawls in to follow the fighter.
Allister awaits them in the corridor. „There was some kind of spring mechanism holding the grate down. Maybe someone check for pressure plates? I don’t want that thing falling on my head.“
Boosey and Glimbul look for anything that could trigger the grate to fall, but can't find anything. Just in case, Boosey pulls out his shortsword and wedges it underneath to try and make sure the thing is shored securely.
The crawl space is about fifty feet long from opening to opening. The party passes under the razor sharp sheet of metal in the middle without any issues. When they emerge on the other side, they find themselves in a tall, narrow, ten foot tall hallway shaped like a trapezoid. At the far end of the cramped hallway is a three-foot-wide, four-foot-long rectangular hole with bright light spilling out of it. The hallway is choked with purple mold, which eyeballs move inside in nearly every corner of the room. Another crawlspace tears off from the room and only appears to go a short ways before opening into a space that spans in all directions.
Pointing to the second short crawl space, Boosey carefully moves down it to the end to look out into the open space, but goes no further. He looks out into the space, then returns very carefully and quietly. He points at the others, then to his eyes, then to the passage. He writes again, this time, "You should all go and look carefully. To difficult to describe. Skeleton on floating platform with odd skull, and statue of a fiend. Balcony with lever on it."
Nenne quietly makes her way over to the opening. She touches her amulet and feels a sudden heat rush into her eyes as Kelemvor opens her sight. (Eyes of the Grave)
Two balconies face each other over a vast pit. Between the balconies hover five wooden platforms, each one a disk ten feet across. A single torch burns above each balcony. On the east balcony stands a rough-hewn, fifteen-foot-tall statue of a hulking fiend with furled wings and clenched fists. Set into the wall on the west balcony is a rusty lever in the up position. A skeleton with a penagonal stone headpiece walks around on the central platform. It crouches low when it sees anyone in the crawlspace.
Nenne falls back to the group, careful to avoid the purple moss.
"That skeleton is the only undead I saw," she tells them, keeping her voice down. "It has an unusual headdress like the one we encountered at the fountain, though the symbol upon it is not a triangle. I believe I said the last one might be aligned with Ras Nsi based on that, and now I have my doubts."
She scratches at the burns on her neck and winces a little. "Exploring this room will be a challenge I cannot say I'm eager to attempt when we are so fatigued. I could easily teleport to the near balcony or one of the platforms; getting the rest of you across will be difficult unless we tie off the rope somehow and form another pulley system as we did at the lava shrine. That is, of course, assuming entering the room does not set off a trap like the one we survived in Kubazan's tomb a little while ago."
She gently touches her neck again and sighs. "What would you like to do?"
"30 feet before it dead-ends?"
Boosey nods and makes a "kind of" motion with his hand. He then makes a snarling face with outstretched hands, and makes the up and down cutting motion with his hand again.
"Some sort of barrier? A door or false wall that opens and closes?"
Boosey points at Nenne and nods at the first bit. He shrugs at the second and makes a "maybe" kind of gesture with his hand.
Glimbul sighs, “Allister, hand him the book and pen from Orvex so he can just write to us”
Allister gives Boosey the notebook

Boosey follows on behind, stooping to walk through the passage
