„Shit!“ Allister curses and slams his fist against wall. „I cannot talk to her anymore, but there is at least one more symbol. An urn. We have to tell her somehow. Glimbul, you can make little illusions, right? Can you make one inside the room?“
Suddenly without warning the stone block raises into the ceiling, revealing the tiled room beyond. Nenne is there standing on an urn tile. The expression on her face is a straight mix of relief and terror. At the same time the entire jackal face disappears, leaving an open passage to the south.
As Nenne drops her invisibility, gives a nervous laugh at the sight of her friends.
"The locusts released as I stepped on the last tile," she says, clearly calming down from hyperventilation. "I thought I had made a deadly error. But they went to the sarcophagus and it clicked. I am so relieved that you are all safe. I worried for you so."
Boosey creates his mage hand and safely stows the Almiraj horn. He gives Nenne a very sheepish grin and says, “I worried about this. A lot. I’m glad you’re safe.”
He turns to the others. “We should get out of here quickly, climb the rope and see if we can find what is disturbing Papazotls tomb. I may have something that could help with that, but it may be better waiting until we are up there.”
Glimbul looks up to the rope then looks around the room before tapping Boosey on the shoulder. "Uh, could we walk through the newly open path instead of attempt climbing up? I would rather not climb a rope if I don't have to."
Distracted from looking up at the rope Boosey turns at the tap on his shoulder. "Well...um....yes, we probably should go that way then," he says looking even more sheepish now. "Should we investigate what was happening at Papazotls tomb?" The magic hand guddles around in the coffin for a while, trying to find any other object that may be hidden or obscured. "I'm not sure that there's anything else here," he says as the hand works through the open container.
The cleric smiles deeply at the bard. "Always wise to be thorough, especially in this place." She pauses a moment. "I am relieved this ended as it did, too. Once I lost the mental connection with Allister, I was fearful something might have happened. And when the locusts came, I thought I would never hear or speak to any of you again. You cannot know how relieved I was to see you safe when the door opened. Until then, I did not even know if you were alive."
“Well let’s get up there and see what all that noise is.” Boosey sneaks off from the party, not his best work as he tries to get used to the cloven hooves, but it doesn’t take long before the gnome returns. His face looks grim.
“Papazotls tomb is full of dwarves. They didn’t notice me because of the racket they were making. Twelve of them. They seem to be armouring those iron creatures with the bones in the cauldrons. We’re going to have to deal with them, or be overwhelmed. It looked like they were making seven of the horrid things, but I can’t be totally sure. If we act now we may be able to get the jump on them.”
Allister gives Boosey a slap on the back. "I gotta say, I am pleasantly surprised. That´s the spirit! But did you see anything invisible? I mean, could your magic find anything?"
"I...I haven't cast it yet," he says in reply loudly. His face grows serious and he puts a finger to his lips turning while his back to the passageway, He looks round the gathered party and mouths "hovering in the passage way, watching us. Don't know what it is. Not from this plane." The gnome reaches up to his head, just below his horns and tugs at a forelock on his head. His eyes land on Nenne and open questioningly.
Nenne raises her eyebrows and shrugs a little as if to say, "What do you expect me to do?"
After a moment, she jams a thumb over her shoulder at I'Jin's sarcophagus and says, "Our victory and escape here proves that having more knowledge of the tomb and an outside perspective is invaluable. I have been wondering...abjuration magics in this place have stifled all my attempts to communicate with Eku, yet my connection with Kelemvor is only strengthening. I believe I may be able to commune with him directly, now, and seek his guidance. Perhaps he can answer questions we have about this tomb, or Acererak. Or...other dangers we may be facing."
„She’s on a reed tile, next one is a scarab. Problem is, there are two scarab tiles.“
Seeing he doesnt need to be at the door he moves next to Allister. “Tell her to go on the one with more options.”
Spoiler for Boosey and Glimbul
„Shit!“ Allister curses and slams his fist against wall. „I cannot talk to her anymore, but there is at least one more symbol. An urn. We have to tell her somehow. Glimbul, you can make little illusions, right? Can you make one inside the room?“
Put your spoiler here.
“If you show me the symbol i may be able to show the image in there, it will be difficult to know where she is though”
“I could try message. It might work if there is any sort of gap in that door stone, but the thing has to be five feet thick!”
Boosey tries anyway sending the spell to Nenne, “Next tile is the Urn” in the hope that it might somehow get through.
„Don’t you know what an urn looks like? Like a vase where some people put the ashes of the deceased. Be creative.“
For Glimbul
Suddenly without warning the stone block raises into the ceiling, revealing the tiled room beyond. Nenne is there standing on an urn tile. The expression on her face is a straight mix of relief and terror. At the same time the entire jackal face disappears, leaving an open passage to the south.
Allister walks across the room with a big smile. „That was easy, wasn’t it? Let’s open that thing and be gone.“
The sarcophagus contains the fragile bones and spiraled horn of an almiraj.
„I say we grab that horn and get out as fast and silent as possible. Mr. Sackbut, can you take it with your magic hand?“
Boosey creates his mage hand and safely stows the Almiraj horn. He gives Nenne a very sheepish grin and says, “I worried about this. A lot. I’m glad you’re safe.”

The sounds of things snapping and clattering repeatedly come from papazotl's tomb door upstairs. whatever is happening in there, it is hard at work.
“Well let’s get up there and see what all that noise is.” Boosey sneaks off from the party, not his best work as he tries to get used to the cloven hooves, but it doesn’t take long before the gnome returns. His face looks grim.
