The gargoyle heads are each five feet tall with their mouths agape in silent screams. The sacophagus in the center of the room is gilded with intricate designs. A single ray of sunlight beams from the ceiling down onto the lid.
"You're welcome to look. I'll watch from the doorway, in case anything needs moving!" He looks down at the staff with a frown. "This thing puzzles me. Our goat friend was allowed to keep it, yet all their parties weapons were confiscated by Ras-Nsi. He says in the journal that Lord Brixton, a knight in the party would have found it funny that he still had it "
Glimbul follows behind Allister until he smells the wine and immediately feels something is off. “Why is there the smell of wine? Why would that be in a tomb? I don’t like this, it must be a trap!” He retreats outside of the room behind boosey.
In response to Boosey’s thoughts, “perhaps the staff is cursed? Or he hid it from Ras Nsi? This is troubling, troubling indeed”
"I've found that one does not hide from Ras Nsi easily," Nenne replies to Glimbul, a little distantly. She shifts her gaze from the rogue to the fighter and calls out, "Can you tell which god this one purports to house?"
She then leans down to Boosey and whispers something in his ear.
@Boosey:
"Keep an eye on Badger. His guest is not behaving."
Once again, standing at the door Boosey looks into the chamber. "Lemon walked round in there and didn't set off any traps, does that not worry you? It seems extremely unlikely given what we've experienced so far in this hole. Those floor tiles are prefect to hide pressure pads under, amongst other things. And wine? Is Acererak planning an orgy?"
"Moa tells me something important too, there seems to be nothing here that identifies a god! He does concede that it could represent Nangnag, but he thinks that unlikely."
„So nobody wants to see what is inside this thing? Well, maybe we can leave for now and come back if a piece of the puzzle misses. We can see where this curving tunnel leads us. It could be the ring the plaque mentioned.“
"I agree with the fighter. Be no point right now, so if so we can travel back." He gives everyone a nod and says, "Let us be on our way to the next floor?"
Returning to the large door at the south end of the second floor proves to be the same. Three oval holes are carved into a nine-foot-wide, nine-foot-high stone door at human head height. As you all approach, three humanoid heads stick out of the holes, each covered in putrid flesh and gnashing on an iron bit bolted to a chain bridle.
„Yes, there is something I want to do here. I want to see what is behind this door. Wasn’t that our plan? Explore this place? See what we find and if it helps us? This whole tomb... it’s a giant trap. But it’s also Acererak playing with us. You think we can only go to the last floor where we will probably find the Soulmonger, whatever it is, and break it?“
"Put those poor creatures out of their misery, they're victims of this Lich too. Look at the way they've been shackled." Boosey says this with a mixture of pity and disgust
Allister draws his rapier. With the blade on fire it is easier than stabbing fish in a barrel as he rams the blade deep into the zombies until they stop struggling. With a mental command he extinguishes the flames after the zombies are dead. „Glimbul, can you check this door for traps, please?“
Glimbul approaching the door now that the undead have been killed. “Um, I can check what I can, but this door is massive.” After a bit of looking, “I dont see any traps, in fact i would be surprised if someone trapped something of this size”
Glimbul checks the door for traps and conveys that he feels confident there aren't any. Allister peers through the door to find an interesting sight. The zombies were bridled to a pulley system tied to the heavy door, so that if they were to move away from it, they would pull it up on its rollers.
In the center of the room stands an ancient chariot bearing a bronze sarcophagus with treasure strewn atop it. Paintings on the chariot’s body show a tall bird with a long, sharp beak. On the south wall, a bronze shield bears the embossed image of a Chultan warrior carrying a spear Four bronze statues stand on pedestals to either side of the shield. They depict Chultan warriors: one holding a sword, two with spears, and one missing its face.
It takes almost everyone to raise the door, and it comes down with a resounding slam as the party steps inside. Six glass cauldrons brimming with humanoid bones line the walls of this tomb. Closer inspection of the Chultan warrior shows an inscription below it that reads, “Bow before no one.”
Boosey looks round the room from just inside the entrance. "So, we will probably have to deal with them," he points to the statues on the back wall, "at some point, and I guess they will want to try to put us in one of those," and he points at a caldron. "What's going to be the trigger I wonder." He walks carefully up to the chariot and studies it without touching it. From there he walks back to the door, then goes to look at one of the caldrons (east), inspecting it, and the surrounding bones thoroughly.
„We can’t stand around here the whole day? Anybody come with me? I want to see if there is another god in that room.“

Made you look.
"Lets leave this place and not return. The more I see it, the less I like it."

"Is there anything you wish to do here?" the cleric asks, glaring at the creatures. "My only intent is to see these abominations undone."

"Any ideas how we open this?"

"Chultan warriors? 'Bow to no one'? I believe we've found Shagambi."
