Fully restored to health, the cleric smiles at Boosey and tenderly pats him on the cheek. "Thank you, my friend." She rises and lobs a sober look at the goliath.
"Thank you for retrieving that. It is likely part of a key for door we saw nearby." Her voice gains a noticeable edge to it. "Next time, however, please do not gamble my life - or anyone else's, for that matter - in your enthusiasm to make discoveries."
The large man tilts his head in confusion. "Gamble your life? I turned around elf. You told me it was an illusion? How was I supposed to know what would happen? I will watch myself, however I cannot know everything."
„Stop it, Nenne. I can’t see how he endangered any of us. If we can’t turn around with your permission, this is gonna be one hell of a trip. This place is all one big danger, and you can’t berate us all the time. I don’t know what you’ve seen or felt, and I don’t wanna, but you make me feel like we are putting you in danger... I don’t know how to say it... for no reason? Thoughtlessness? What changes now that you more or less told Lo he nearly killed you?“
The gnome puts his hands up in a placating gesture. "Please everyone stop! I don't know if magic has affected us in someway, but fighting amongst ourselves, here, now is not going to help. Lo made a mistake here, but we all have made mistakes, some of which have nearly gotten us killed. Lemon and Vombec also made mistakes and paid the highest price. Arguing like this is only going to help Acererak and hinder us, we need to be together in this, that is the only way we will survive this place."
He adds, "Moa sees this conflict as detrimental, and he is disappointed we are arguing. He sympathises with us and he will do everything he can to help us succeed, but we must be mindful not to bicker amongst ourselves."
Allister retrieves the body of the dwarf just past the recessed block and finds a some treasure. The dwarf's yellow turban is set with a peridot gemstone (500 gp). A search of dwarf’s corpse also yields a shield and a belt pouch containing a 500 gp diamond and two 1-inch-diameter crystal eyeballs — one dark blue and one vibrant purple.
While waiting for the stone to raise back into place, the party searches the water hallway to find two illusory walls hiding cubbies with two more orbs. Each alcove contains a plinth bearing a crystal eyeball 1 inch in diameter: a pale purple eyeball to the south and a bright green eyeball to the north.
"Well, where to now? We could try and see what happens with this mirror, or go chasing Allister's dwarf. Whichever we chose, it seems we will have to wait a while before this tomb resets itself. I agree with Nenne that the medallion will show us the correct sequence of squares to walk on, it was showing a vulture as the plaque said?" The gnome gives the cleric a quick smile. "I'd be grateful for a chance to speak with you alone, Nenne. There is something I have been meaning to talk to you about." He turns to look at the goliath. "I will need to speak to Lo too, I think, but it may take a little more explaining for him. He knows so very little of this place."
Nenne glances at the goliath and the fighter before looking away. "I'm sorry," she says in a muted tone. "I am just...not accustomed to needing such rescue. You could not have known about the room; it is not your fault. I spoke without thinking. Forgive me." Her skin gains a distinct blue blush, which lingers.
"It is fine elf. I try not to pry on the thoughts of pride. Even as one who wishes to become a chieftain." He takes a knee down to the ground and offers and helping hand towards Nenne. "I do not know how to carry on from here. With my limited knowledge, it seems that carrying on with this puzzle beside us with the tiles may be the best option. We are collecting these crystal beads and discovering what may be in the room could lead to more of them. However if you think we've collected all of them, by all means. We should just keep moving."
Lo, standing straight once more, walks towards where the stone block fell into the floor, and then towards the boat. In a deep voice, once more echoing he says, "I am able to leap across, however I will be landing on the last tile before the boat. On my way back, I will, and if the tile there is harmful, I will be landing on the last tile here before this hall." A thought crosses his mind however, and pulls out a javelin. With the javelin, he attempts to push down on one of the plates.
To the group Lo says, "The tile did not move under the weight of my javelin. I can only hope that it won't move underneath my own weight." The goliath stands and looks to Boosey, noticing he has something to say.
Once Lo has finished talking to Nenne, Boosey approaches the cleric somewhat cautiously. "Please my friend. Don't despair, this place is taking a huge toll on us all, but you have been our rock, steadfast and true. None of us would be here." He looks towards to the others and his tone is soft and wistful. "We would all be long dead if not for you Nenne, and besides," he gives her a wink, "we all secretly enjoy the lectures. You bind us all together, and never forget that. We are here for you too, there is no shame in needing our help, we are all just glad that you are alive."
"There is something else have been meaning to speak to you about,. As we get deeper into this place I feel it is becoming more important if we are all to survive this." He looks her in the eye and says sincerely, "I think it may be to all our advantage if you and Lo were to take on board one of the gods. I realise that you are against it. Moa would have been the best choice for you, I have even discussed it with him, but he is reluctant to leave me. In all honesty I like having him on board but would still have let you take him." He sighs, slightly unsure at how to proceed.
"You've seen the benefits I've had from Moa, and I am amazed by the effect that Kubazan has had on Allister, it's been incredible. Glimbul, I don't know him that well but admittedly he has been acting a little...odd, since his passenger got on board. There are a few gods left, and I have no idea what benefits they would bring, but would you consider taking one on board? I'm sure Kelemvor would understand and even embrace it if it helps in the destruction of this Lich and his curse. Please give it some thought, it may help us all leave this place alive."
Nenne remains motionless for a long time, staring ahead at nothing. The blue deepens and spreads all across her skin as the last vestiges of Spring fade and die.
Returning just as Boosey finished his talk with Nenne, "Gods you say? Are you saying gods reside in some of your bodies?" He looks around the group. "If I may, is it possible to see if I may be blessed with one? My tribe finds this as an honor, being visited by such a god."
The gnome places his hand gently on the clerics arm. "Please Nenne," he says. "Come back to us? I wont pretend to understand you, but you are a special person, to us all."
As Lo questions Boosey about the gods he explains them to the Goliath, and how each were paired against each other. "Think carefully about which god you would choose. Some are evil, or capricious, but they may have unexpected benefits if you take them on board. If this tomb is I'jin's, Nenne may wish to take them on board. I can't be sure if she will take a god, but I will not press her into it. Our cleric deserves the right to make her own decisions and I have said all I need to on the matter. I carry one other with me with my equipment, but do not make any rash decisions."
"I understand gnome." He bowed his head in respects of both and took a step back towards the hall and towards the room with the tiles. He gave a glance to the tiles and back to the floor. Processing what had transpired all to quickly, Lo looks to the tiles and begins to walk towards them. Stopping just 5ft from the first tile, Lo gets in a stance to get ready and run jump across to the boat.
"Lo, don't be impetuous, we've already had to save you once! Having seen what happens to one who steps on the wrong tile, if you jump you will surely perish in a quite horrific fashion."
It takes a minute, but the cleric does turn her attention to the bard. Her affect is flat, expressionless. She nods politely at him to acknowledge his kind words. Then she retakes her position with her back against the wall and watches the goliath, a slightly distant look in her eye.
"Gnome, your concern for me is heart-warming. However, while you spoke with Nenne, I tested this tile with more than my weight behind it and nothing happened. I also know, from that tile and to the t=boat, I can easily make it. Trust me bard. I need to make it up to you for hurting Nenne as I did in the previous room."

The tile doesn't push down at all.
Nenne watches from a distance as the goliath make his attempt. She is unusually reserved and does not make eye contact with anyone.
