You break open the unlocked door. outside leads the top of the canyon, off the cliff, you can see the entire west side of Snakeskin Valley. The forest below looks a lot like several bunches of broccoli. Behind you is Millennium Mansion, it's green, moss covered wooden walls add on to its creepiness, the windows are colored yellow for some particular reason, and on the roof, you see an old, rotting balcony that could provide a good view, the front door looks in surprisingly good shape, seeming like its the best part of the house.
Upon entrance of the mansion, the light is very dim and hard to see, but you make out a staircase going up two ways towards the second floor. On the left of the staircase is a pair of wooden chairs and a small table between them, all look very old and are covered in cobwebs. The right side has a single table, another wood chair in the corner, and between them is a wooden door. The left and right walls have doors as well, both made of wood, all have rusted doorknobs. The room has no immediate threat.
"No telling where the shard went, but logically if it came in through an aerial trajectory, basically flung here like a catapult stone, it's more likely to be found on the upper levels," Halec says, trying to remain grounded in facts and physics in a place reputed to be rife with the supernatural. "I recommend we head further upwards. We can always search these side passages on the way back if we do not find the Ruby Snowflake piece upstairs."
Both areas of the upper level have two more wooden doors, side-by-side with a rotting wood table separating them. (Which way do you want to go up the stairs, left or right?)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Halec flips a coin. 2
"Based on sheer arbitrariness, I say we go right. It would seem since the snowflake was destroyed, arbitrariness has become the new guiding force in my world, so I suppose at some point I should embrace it," Halec says sardonically, then takes another swig from his flask. "What say the rest of you men?"
After hearing the laughter behind all doors, Halec adds, “I don’t particularly like any of these doors, on consideration. Haunted mansion. Eerie laugher from every door. This is far from ideal.” His hand rests on his crossbow as if for moral support.
“Was that some sort of trap mechanism, I wonder?” Halec muses aloud. “I once worked with a fellow, quite a rogue, he was, but he did know his way around traps mechanical and arcane alike. I suppose I could at least give it a look, as an amateur engineer myself.”

“Indeed, into the haunted mansion to look for the piece of the shattered relic,” Halec says. “A proper adventure.” He enters with the others.

"I concur" I say jovially, but I don't feel that way. I draw my bagpipes and play a bright, spirited tune.

On the right side are a trio of wood doors instead of a duo, all the doors look identical and unaged.
Halec listens for any sounds beyond any of them: Perception 14
He then engages in more amateur augury based on coin clips: 4
"I like the leftmost, based on really nothing whatsoever," Halec says, taking another swig from his flask. "You boys have any thoughts?"

What door, there are 3?
Behind all the door, all you hear is a creepy, high-pitched laughter.
After hearing the laughter behind all doors, Halec adds, “I don’t particularly like any of these doors, on consideration. Haunted mansion. Eerie laugher from every door. This is far from ideal.” His hand rests on his crossbow as if for moral support.
Door 1, the one farthest from Halec.

When his warhammer makes contact with the door, it magically electrocutes him, the door unharmed.

Perception to search for traps on the doors: 10
It was not a trap, apparently the door does that when attacked.
