[OOC: Just briefly looking in, Nanoc has been excluded from the party layout. As per my instructions, Nanoc did not leave, he is just at the back with Okkar, protecting him. To conform with the symmetry, he could be placed behind Okkar and Taraven.]

Tyrus Mountson: Lvl 3 Dwarvish Bard; Waterdeep Campaign (Dragon Heist) Nanoc the Younger: Semi-retired Lvl 2 Rogue / Level 2 Barbarian Human; The Knuckle, Mror Holds, Ebberon. The Honourable Jaden Fellan: Level 3 Human Eldritch Knight; Band of Sunswall
AKA: Phillip Berrie: writer, editor and academic thrillseeker—a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
OOC: Going to bed now, so pre-posting so you guys can keep going. Open up the Spoiler when it is Evan's turn, assuming something drastically bad doesn't happen on the monster's first attacks...Don't forget Bless!
Assuming the creatures have closed to melee, Evan will go after his companions have launched their attacks, so at the end of the round. He summons a magical staff of force and whacks the most injured of the enemies with it, then presents his shield and holy symbol to hopefully drive some of the undead back before they can attack again!
I don't know how tough these things are, but lets concentrate on one to start, if possible.
I've edited to put Ilecerys in the middle (least armoured, no heals (I think))
One appears from the ground one square up and to the left from Galtheon this is Stone a Ghost 1. It attacks then sinks into the ground - he may take a reaction attack if he chooses to. Another, SG2, appears up and to the right from Evan, attacks and sinks into the groin - he also can use his reaction to swing if he chooses. SG3 emerges from the ground behind Galtheon and swings and Taravan and then sinks into the ground. Both Taravan and Galtheon could take OA unless one has already used their reaction. SG4 appears behind Evan and attacks Okkar - it remains where it is, however.
[GM, Is the one that attacked Nanoc to the right of Okkar on the character map above? BTW, Nanoc would have had his scimitar and shield out and ready giving him an AC of 18.]

For those who fail a save, exhaustion suddenly hits you, as the site of the wound becomes bizarrely calcified, with a section of flesh visibly turning to stone in a small area.
OOC: Let me know who took reactions, note this may be a good combat for Readied actions, and you have one reaction per turn. Readied actions use Reactions as do attacks of opportunity. The OAs taken now are before your turn, thus you would have a new set of reactions starting as of your player turn.
Passive Insight of 13 or higher suggests one stayed behind to get your group to break formation, in hopes of preying on vulnerable targets with less defenders available nearby for opportunity attacks as they retreat back into stone.
In his turn, Nanoc will yell for Okkar to retreat behind him and attempt to switch places with the dwarf. Scarred almost out of his wits, he will use his Bonus Action to rage and strike at the strange stoney monster with his magical scimitar, even if the previous move doesn't happen. As there are companions of his within reach of the creature, I am going to presume he gets Sneak Attack damage if he manages to hit; ignore that damage if that is not the case.
(( I looked at Evan's instructions -- he wants to go last, but I don't think he anticipated them sinking into floor...but it's probably still worhwhile since it affects anyone who can see or hear us withing 30'...I'm hoping these guys see or hear through rock... ))

I will post monster attacks soon, apologies for the delay.

Spiritual Weapon (bonus action): Attack: 11 Damage: 8 , Bless adds 1 to hit.
Channel Divinity Turn Undead (action): Wisdom save 13 for undead or they move away until damaged or a minute is up.
"Hopefully this will push some of them back!" says Evan.
Gerrard Feldren - Human Noble in Ghosts of Saltmarsh
Kerric Brightblade - Elven Warrior in "Apocalypse"

(( are you sure that's Nanoc, not Okkar? -- Nanoc refused to enter room. The order of entry would have been (frame by frame!):
2:
3:
4: (they appear?)
The planned retreat is:
))
SG1 vs Galtheon:
15
SG2 vs Evan:
11
SG3 vs Taraven:
18
SG4 vs Okkar:
9
Galtheon would attack on the first AOO since he would not know there would be more options.
SG1 OA: 14 Damage: 14 (bless, slash, non-magic)
Edit: That damage makes absolutely no sense! It thinks it's critical because I rolled max on the BLESS! Actual damage is 8...
Anyone hit must make a DC 13 Constitution save or suffer one level of Exhaustion. Damage if hits is as follows, Necrotic damage, all:
SG1 v Galtheon:
3
SG2 v Evan
5
SG3 v Taravan:
6
SG4 missed Okkar.

Note one level of exhaustion imposes disadvantage on ability checks but does not penalize attack rolls.
Constitution Save 17
Taraven will point her finger at the stone ghost that just hit her and yell, “Take this!” She uses her reaction to cast Hellish Rebuke
SG3 must make a Dexterity save of 13
Fail Fire Damage 21 And if it makes the save damage is cut in half
OOC: is my reaction also my attack of opportunity since I used hellish rebuke?
(( As above, Galtheon took a reaction roll vs SG1 14, Damage 8); I strongly suspect Evan would take a reaction (there's no downside, right): and
Evan Vs SG2: 18 Damage: 4
(( @DM Can we pull closer to the door, so Taraven and Okkar are harder to reach? ))
(( #DM: I believe that a grapple can not be taken as an OA; can it be taken as a reaction? ))
Galtheon yells out, "I'll try grabbing one of the buggers."
In his turn, Nanoc will yell for Okkar to retreat behind him and attempt to switch places with the dwarf. Nanoc's to-hit roll: 16; Damage: 10; Sneak Attack Damage: 3
