Jaro will retreat to a corner and cast wall of force arranging it so that it covers just above the surface of the lava pool top and sides forcing him up and out of the lava and making it clear for everyone to get to him. (If I'm reading the spell right, since it cuts through him, I get to choose which side he ends up on so I will put him above it. If I'm not reading it right, I would prefer to redo the action please).
You can indeed do that. Remember though the force wall is invisible, so no one actually can tell why the fiend is suddenly forced up and out of the magma, other than you know you cast the spell, so would be able to inform the others. Make sure you communicate.
Perdan will calmly move about the room to get into range of Grobulax. He takes a moment to eye him carefully and then strikes twice with his tenticle whip.
Move action: move within 10 feet.
Bonus action: insightful fighting. Insight check vs a deception. If insight insight is higher than Perdan can make sneak attacks verse him for 1 minute without needing advantage.
Insight check25
Attack: 2 whip strikes
Attack: 39 Damage: 20 plus 1 psychic he is stunned on a crit no save
Attack: 29 Damage: 17 plus 6 psychic he is stunned on a crit no save
Sneak attack damage 16
Edit: to clarify, the stunning is the weapon effect not a monk effect and stun lasts until the end of stunned creatures next turn.
Extra psychic damage from crit 1
Extra for sneak attack crit 16

cannot meet yours. Both strikes hit and the fiend is stunned, laying atop an invisible wall of force over his hot tub.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Raist starts to get annoyed at this abomination that continues to thwart his spells so he will try a new tactic and cast [Tooltip Not Found] on him and see how it goes.
Psychic Crush - 6th level: DC 25 Int save - Stun and 50 Damage or save for no stun and half damage.

Jaro will smile as his last spell takes effect, gesturing to the invisible plane holding the creature aloft, "That should keep the lava out of play, we've got a floor to work with." And then he'll raise his gauntlet for another pair of blasts of lightning followed by a shot from his small pistol.
Lightning launcher: Attack: 37 Damage: 15 Attack: 33 Damage: 17 If either hit, add 1 damage and the next attack by someone other than me has advantage.
Ted tries to grab him with the large hand, but the two wrench at each other, the fiend barely able to stay free. A ray of frost strike him then, doing damage. The cold damage does not appear to be as much as you would expect though. (resistant to cold.)
Raist casts a spell and the fiend falls prone again, stunned. (it cannot make the save so will stay stunned for 1 minute. He has the key on a chain around his neck.
Combat is over unless you wish to do something else here...
"Well whatever we decide to do at the moment, we have about 30 seconds until this friends will be popping back unto the room. I suggest we leave quickly now that we have the key." Raist says.
Gilra asks, "Does anyone have Banishment prepared? Otherwise we should probably kill him. We started it and we can't leave a stupid enraged demon running around. On the other hand though maybe we can observe how the islands defenses actually work.. "
(As long as you don't lose concentration, the succubi should stay banished as they were not native to this plane.)
Jaro will speak up as they grab the key, "Given that his mind is gone, he shouldn't really remember what we were after, and we're disguised so he won't be able to recognize us. I say leave him rather than kill him and risk breaking the spell and allowing him to watch us from the hells. Let's just go find the angel and get this over with."
Taking the key, and leaving the fiend where he is, the group return to the hall outside. a servant quickly agrees to lead you to your next destination....
You arrive at another open door, this one leading into a huge chamber beyond. Marcho's residence is humble and barren but very spacious. (50 ft cube.)
Standing in the center of the room is an angelic figure, glowing with purity. It is quite the contrast to the fiend.
Jaro will move slowly into the room, "I must admit, I'm somewhat surprised to find an angel here. May I ask what 'sin' you might be indulging in yourself?"

((I think you get more Psychic and Sneak Attack damage due to the crit. ))

Jown answers Gilra's question, "I happen to know how to banish devils (Banishment on my spell list.) I can do that if it is needed."

"May I aid you in something?" the angel asks, looking the group over. "Or are you here only to indulge in the sinful activities of this place?"
Jaro will move slowly into the room, "I must admit, I'm somewhat surprised to find an angel here. May I ask what 'sin' you might be indulging in yourself?"
